Lindell Audio - 50 Series Channel & Buss - Eryck Bry Demo | Plugin Alliance

  • Опубліковано 14 сер 2024
  • Get an overview of the sound and features of the Lindell 50 Series plugin. The console emulation is inspired by the sound of API® and channels that clear high-end, and tight low-end the hardware is known for. Producer Eryck Bry uses an uptempo Hip Hop track with an old-school vibe to demonstrate how to make use of the plugin and its versatile sonic possibilities.
    The Lindell 50 series captures the tight and powerful sound API® consoles, preamps, and EQs are known for. Implemented with patented TMT, you can now access the most convincing model of these classic consoles ever, including the slight channel-to-channel variances in the values of their analog components.
    The Lindell 50 Series does more than just model a single console. It provides you with an array of choices in the dynamics and EQ sections, allowing you to swap in your favorite style of these classic 500-series modules. Use them on busses or individual tracks.

    this is how mixing is supposed to be, by listening 1st and applying plugins as needed, and not just because you have a them. sometimes no plugin is needed at all. this is what they call 'less is more'. very good presentation. definitely i'll check this plugin, very smooth sounding.

    It's MUCH better to have the API plugins connected as a full channel strip than separate. This is great. I especially appreciate the ability to turn on/off the "stepped" EQ settings. (I prefer stepped, like the original, but it's nice to turn that off for people who don't want it.)

    Other than saying great job and sweet plugin.. The biggest take away for me is that pro's are actually making the sounds smaller/thinner to great effect getting a more clean and professional mix. I've been fluffing it trying to make everything bigger and it doesn't sound as pro, it probably muddies thing s up. So I'm going to work on that. ⚡

    This is interesting to learn... this entire process.
    I just wish that they would always elaborate on acronyms like "THD"... It sucks to have to keep pausing my beloved Plugin Alliance videos to go out, google, look, look, place quotes around the search words, look, look... hope for a hit... come back, hit play and think back to the context of where we left off...
    In essence, I wish that each plugin had a checklist... "1." would be to assure a detailed video with all parts with explanation what they are, and demoed, before even added to the site.
    But that is simply me (Sorry, I have ADHD. I have difficulty absorbing written materials and so I rely on video and audio for almost all new education/information which does not come in person(just wanted to give context, due to the range of people attempting to absorb the information, and legally medicated conditions which cause us to need greater detail, and the consequences for we customers, due to inadequate detail).
    Thank you for all of your time in reading this (and any consideration which you render it)
    Your great products,
    Incredible customer service.

    Do these console plugins eliminate the need of an EQ,Compressor, & sometimes preamp?

    • @PluginAllianceTV
      @PluginAllianceTV  3 роки тому +1

      This really depends on what type of music you produce. The channels strips have all these components onboard, but you may want to add even more colors or need more control over your frequencies, so additional plugins (or external gear) may be useful. We generally recommend to try our plugins for free before you buy them to see and hear what they can do for you. You can demo each product from our catalogue for 14 days.

      @terrygray7465 3 роки тому +9

      Yeah, because I have room and the $$$ for a real analogue desk. Not to mention the $$$ for the upkeep, the maintenance/service contract and the power bill. I'll take the convenience over all that any day of the week. We live in a different time, and no one who listens to the final mix on the radio will ever say, "You know, I'd like this more if they'd only used a real desk instead of a plugin". No kid streaming the song over Spotify into ear buds is ever going to make the distinction. Only audiophile types who jerk themselves off while waxing philosophical about the good old days of analogue do that. The kids don't care. As an old-ish engineer myself, I can honestly say, we take ourselves too seriously sometimes. I embrace this stuff. Makes my life easier and I can send the invoice out faster.
