As much as I appreciate the demo and DR, I have a problem to understand how company can use such a flat and frankly super tiring track to convinced us to purchase it. Counterproductive to say the least.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain what ambiance & focus sliders do and giving a general overview of the monitor plugin. However, the track used should have been more musical to really show the different impact on the full spectrum.
Now I'm actually concidering NOT buying the plugin, because the tune gave me instant diarrhea. Jesus! Horrible...

I have this plugin but some of the features shown here are not available in my version. I have both VR monitor and micro.

I'M TRYING OUT THE PLUG-IN I READ THE MANUAL I HAVE ONE QUESTION DO YOU HAVE TO TURN THE PLUG-IN OFF WHEN YOU EXPORT OR DOWNLOAD THE PROJECT
Yes, you have to turn it off before exporting. This is a reference plug-in, not a mixing/mastering plug-in.
And I thought I was the only one with a full 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos setup in my van.... lol

As a mixer that works with 5.1 and atmos, this doesn't explain how to actually do this. Mixing in Atmos requires the use of the dolby atmos renderer, making it very difficult to add a plugin after the software. From what I saw this only does a fake "upmix" to atmos, and doesn't allow you to actually mix in atmos. Am I wrong?
Please check the 14-day free trial to find out, if this can work for you. This plugin is intended for situations, when you DON'T have your high end setup available.
@@PluginAllianceTV Nuendo for instance has a seperate monitoring channel, so the atmos plugin allows you to choose a playback output setup (7.1, 5.1 or 2.0) for monitoring the atmos output. If you choose 7.1.2 as output, then you can set the input of this plugin accordingly and monitor the signal in binaural :)
If you don't have a multi channel source mixed for spacial positioning, then no, it can't emulate real surround sound. It can emulate playing a stereo track through a multispeaker setup which is off course not the same as true surround sound.
i see your using pro tools...where are you instantiating the plugin?..on the master?...or do you create a submaster and route all into it and use that? And, I use sonarworks headphone correction...would this go before or after the plugin?...otherwise how to you compensate for your headphones, as all headphones are different.
The plugin is placed on the master. There is still something like a debate between Sonarworks users, if it's better to place it before or after the MONITOR. Please use our 14-day free trial to check how it fits into your set.

I tolerate ads and try to avoid using an ad blocker for UA-cam to support content providers. I don't really feel okay about taking that step to support promotional material... Which is pretty much just advertisements. I really advise those making promotional material to think about this.
the speaker area on With Heights can't be clicked. What is wrong with my trial? Any settings that should be done? Using this on Logic Pro X

This Plugin is actually pretty good. It’s in the mega bundle and I haven’t tried it yet. But this video gave me some good insight on when an why to use it. I like the Idea of checking how your song will sound in the club.

Yes, this plugin will create a virtual mixing room, when you don't have the option to work in good listening conditions.

This isn't a 3d plugin it's only for monitoring
3 mono-summed tip is a good one. But that is not an uncommon feature, even within many DAWs. I don't feel tha5 Dolby translates well to headphones, head tracking can enhance it but that's not exactly a standard feature.

I cannot agree more. This infantile noise is nothing but annyoing. When it's about mxing music, you should present a demonstration WITH MUSIC. Sorry guys. There are still lots of producers and mixers out there born before 2010!
I was just about to purchase this thing, then I read all the comments below ... wow, incredible how a stupid marketing flaw like this can even scare potential customers away even when the "demonstration noise" has actually nothing to do with the quality of the plugin itself.

Really good job on the choice of track, comparable to using Adolf Hitler in a Volkswagen car commercial. It's not doing you any favours at all.
Hey guys that's an amazing plugin and does it work in 7.1 surround formats with studio one ? Just downloaded the trial and put it in master bus and it's not providing any surround options. I'm sorry if I'm wrong or am I supposed to do any special routing ???

Watched about 2 mins and have to agree with most of the comments. Track annoyed me and I couldn't hear the difference with the Ambience and Focus settings (could be my aging ears). No disrespect to Koen Heldens, PA really dropped the ball on this one.
i think its great that the boomers don't like this just because of the music. That leaves me with the better tools ; )
