AJ going crazy over debt, is probably the closest reality to the Apple sleep experiment being less graphic, but holy SHIT the music used made it 10x scarier.
So basically what happened in the Grimdark was Applejack's family supposedly had a debt to Filthy Rich that needed immediate repayment so Applejack eventually resorted to drinking an "Anti-sleep" potion so she can work continuously 24 hours a day to repay the debt. However after Filthy Rich blatantly disregarded Applejack's efforts, she slowly descended into insanity which led her to murder several Ponyville residents as she perceives them as Filthy Rich, a negative side-effect of consuming the "Anti-Sleep" potion which apparently has no known antidote
The bit where AJ starts jerking around in her bed actually gave me chills. Like, you’re so good at depicting the moods and tones in your vids, it’s insane.

Well considering Applebloom is a Filly and Applejack is a full grown pony she has more force in her kick. And that kick she gave Applebloom it could kill her. I knkw Applejack would NEVER hurt her little sister. She was just over streesed.

Ah, i got such strong childhood nostalgia, i remember watching cartoons just like this one back in 2016. I was actually surprised to see how recently this video was made. Wonderful work, the animation is great and it was pretty disturbing! Loved every second of it, really brought me back Nice to see horror mlp animations are still a tradition within the fandom!
