Thank you for showing us how to get to the American Dream Mall via public transportation. My wife and I are looking forward this in the near future. We got rid of our car since we live in NYC and there is limited parking and too much traffic. Pandemic and retirement have now shown me how to live more simply. Going to the American Dream Mall will be big for us. Even when I go to Costco I feel like I am on a mini vacation. LOL.
Much appreciated! I know it can be quite a challenge to navigate public transportation, especially with all the machines and passageways people need to deal with.
You was marvellous working out how to get to the bus terminal from the underground train station. Lovely smooth ride on the bus. Thanks for sharing 👍 🥰
This was a nice throwback for me to watch since my bf and I stayed in a NJ Airbnb and we had to use this station after taking a CT train to Manhattan for our little vacation before my fall semester of college🥰
Fantastic trip to the American Dream Mall . Thanks for showing how to navigate our way through to the bus terminal from the subway. You made so easy for us , much appreciated AK , sorry you lost your glove . 😯
AK thanks for the memory. I took that bus to NJ when the New York Nets played at the arena. When the bus going leaving I remember going that way in the 70's. Be safe
The escalator: was invented to make going up and down easier That one escalator at 2:05: I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that Only weekends? If NJ really want people to visit that mall, they should be offering weekday service as well! Really missing out
9:28 that bus terminal totally reminds me of the inside of an airport with the gates here and there. There was a touch screen bus schedule thing near a mezzanine by the escalators that helps to find bus schedules and terminals. 11:32 yeah that can get kinda confusing.
Interesting feeling change, going from the underground subway to where the bus was above ground. A very definite feeling of relief?, I didn’t know I had.
I like in Newark and frequently take the bus to NYC. There is a main area where you can purchase tickets from a clerk entering the building nearest 40th St., and if you go into the other entrance close to 42nd St., as you walk inside, there are ticket machines and a monitors to check the bus time and gate. Those are the two main entrances inside Port Authority across from the NY Times building. Sorry for the lengthy comment, but hope you had a good time.
AK has been all over NYC's four platforms; whether it be by ground, via the waterways, through the air etc. -- but he hasn't been below the surface and into the sewers where Master Splinter and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles home base is. 🐱👤🤙🏼
Port authority has so many bus lines going into specific retail spots. They used to & probably still have buses going to Ikea, Mitsuwa, & that Soju spa across from Mitsuwa
No weekday service, so they're not using it as a regular park-and-ride stop like Willowbrook Mall. Pre-Covid I would go to an annual convention in Wayne at a hotel near Willowbrook and take an extra day to go into the city, always safe fast reliable service from NJ Transit but the Ramada's shuttle made me wait over half an hour the first year, thereafter I drove from the hotel to Willowbrook (I had my car since I had driven to NJ from home, but wasn't about to try doing it in Manhattan).
"On select buses, validators are installed to enable scanning of mobile and barcoded paper tickets and passes." Seems like every NJ Transit line has their own rules. In Hoboken, you had to scan your one-way ticket on the platform. I've never had to scan a NJT bus ticket.
A human: trying to move around without getting lost Lumiose City: Prepare for trouble... Port Authority Bus Terminal: *MAKE IT DOUBLE!* seriously, that bus terminal gives Lumiose City a run for its money when it comes to being like a maze. But the NJ Transit ticket machines make up for it by being straight-forward and helpful if you don't know which route you're taking
For those who watched this video hoping to get an idea of where the bus lets off, check out his sequel video walking through the mall. You can see that the bus lets off outside the entrance to the mall near the Swarovski store, which is near the section of the mall where Saks is located.
AK, thank you for this informative video, and you're so helpful to future visitors! 🤗 The bus ride to the American Dream Mall really builds up the hype to the dedicated EPIC mall video, and I'm so looking forward to it! 🤩
Hello AK as usual another great video, I have never been to this mall, so thank you for taking me , well us my husband is watching too, thank you, stay safe and well, too bad you lost your glove! 😋😋👍👍🌈🌈
Hello Ak, I saw the video of the American Dream Mall on your Action Kid Extra channel, I thought it was great, and today you show us how to get to the Mall, great! Huge greetings to you, from Santiago de Chile💝👌😘
I can see why MTV likes this channel more...they can talk to this guy very easily...but then again, so can I...LOL! Anyways, Rt. 355 on NJ Transit...very neat, very affordable (who can go wrong w/ $9 to-and-from the terminal & the American Dream Mall?) & if you're very punctual, VERY useful...as a matter of fact, EXTREMELY useful...only thing is that runs on weekends & holidays and one other thing: It runs every hour...time it well...peace!
I knew there had to be a bus at the Port Authority. Thanks for showing this. I've been dying to go there but have no car to get there from the NYC. Definitely planning a trip when it gets nice out!!! Not sure if you used the NJ Transit app to purchase tickets
Nice trip and detailed video. I may have to do it one of these weekends. Although it make take some planning since I have to take a bus to 242nd, then the #1 to 42nd, and then the NJT bus to the mall. One thing, they should fix up signing on the terminal, and get rid of the panhandlers…
AK has been all over NYC's four platforms; whether it be by ground, via the waterways, through the air etc. -- but he hasn't been below the surface and into the sewers where Master Splinter and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles home base is. 🐱👤🤙🏼
Next you can show people how to take the A To 175th St and take a NJT bus from the GWB bus terminal to IKEA and the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus. BTW, the GWB bus terminal has been recently renovated.
Seeing this video now, but I was there this year but I drove from southern NJ. I think that the bus now might stop in a covered area closer to an entrance but I could be wrong.
I've always wanted to take my kids to the mall and I didn't know about that short cut to the port authority bus terminal, and living in nyc all my life. 😄
Thank you Kenneth. This was a great ride. Hope you got a new glove for this cold weather. I will be waiting for your show about the mall itself. I sounds like an unbelievable place that one should visit. Have fun and see you soon again.
Unless there was some type of edit that I didn't realize, I calculated a 13 minute ride from NYC to the American Dream Mall once the bus started moving. Really impressive time considering NYC traffic
I enjoyed watching your video and thanks so much for showing how to buy NJ transit; I would love to the American Dream Mall. How many minutes for the ride from NY to NJ America Dream Mall ?

I hear you.
29:35 i still remember the couple of Nets basketball games i went to at the Continental Airlines Arena when it used to be that. Jason Kidd NJ Nets era
That Port Authority walk aint no joke
You was marvellous working out how to get to the bus terminal from the underground train station. Lovely smooth ride on the bus. Thanks for sharing 👍 🥰
You're welcome!
Great timing to go to American Dream I was planning to go there this year and now it's easier for me to get this destination! Thanks AK!
Excellent

You're welcome! It can get quite confusing but now you know what to do!
AK thanks for the memory. I took that bus to NJ when the New York Nets played at the arena. When the bus going leaving I remember going that way in the 70's. Be safe
Enjoyful bus ride and great video !! The American Dream Mall looks awesome 👍 Thank you A K for sharing this excellent bus ride with us 👍!!!
Glad you enjoyed the bus ride!
In 2019, I commuted on NJ Transit bus everyday. Thank you for the Jan 2022 PABT footage- the terminal looks EXACTLY the same!
Same
I get paid to smoke weed & get high on my UA-cam channel 💯💨 I don’t intend of bragging, I’m just passionate for the herb! 🌿 The California Dream😈
Been there about 5 years ago. Good to know it still looks the same.
I don't think that terminal will ever change!
When I am travelling to New york city, then I going a day to American Dream Mall. That's for sure. Thanks for this nice and smooth bus ride AK .
The escalator: was invented to make going up and down easier
That one escalator at 2:05: I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that
Only weekends? If NJ really want people to visit that mall, they should be offering weekday service as well! Really missing out
No just stick with pyongyang
Yes, it was invented by your grandfather Kim Il Sung
They offer weekday service but it’s only with 4 buses per day. Otherwise you gotta take the local buses
We got everyday service from Passaic County NJ.
9:28 that bus terminal totally reminds me of the inside of an airport with the gates here and there. There was a touch screen bus schedule thing near a mezzanine by the escalators that helps to find bus schedules and terminals. 11:32 yeah that can get kinda confusing.
I guess that's his first time. I think he'll get the hang of it.
It can get quite confusing in the bus terminal with all the gates and departures!
@@ActionKid in a weird way i think its kinda refreshing to see the insides of Port Authority with the gates and stuff being all over.
I love this uncut video!!!!
Interesting feeling change, going from the underground subway to where the bus was above ground. A very definite feeling of relief?, I didn’t know I had.
Yes, it's very different
Good new music at ending, very fun show as well.
Wooo love this. 💕
I totally felt your pain regarding losing one glove. I lose one every winter lolz. Hope you got a nice new gloves.
Thanks for sharing it. We still stuck in home so it's nice to see new things.
Was waiting on this one. Thanks AK 👍💯
Great description on getting from subway to bus. When I lived in Brooklyn I used to do that often.
Not sure if you're gonna see this but you gotta make "Times Square to" a Series.
Your vids are iconic
i really love and enjoyed the bus ride, thanks alot for sharing ❤
WOAW THEY DID IT OMG 😲 THAT LOOKS AWESOME

Thanks for the great info!
I take the 107 to New York, I live on the border of Newark & Irvington
Never heard of this place thumbs up
Great video. I'm coming to NY from Ireland on March 14th fingers crossed.....I'm definitely doing this trip.
Thanks for sharing
Wow that's a big bus station
I felt excited at 15:45 minutes when you were on the bus going to the American Dream Mall and the bus started to go!!! 😃 😊 😀

Thank you. Really enjoyed this video- very helpful. Look forward to the follow up video. Hope you buy the new heated gloves.😍🥰👏🏻👏🏻💚
Very enjoyable. With it going down to -3 overnight I'm looking forward to a Coney Island or Brighton Beach tour if you are inclined this summer.
Thank you for sharing! Ride to the bus and ticket wow have a great fun 😀 👍
Simon and Garfunkle on a silver Greyhound bus!
Thank you so much for all these NY travel content. I'm traveling to New York in a couple of weeks and your videos are very helpful.
Thanks for showing all the process and very nice bus ride.
Port authority has so many bus lines going into specific retail spots. They used to & probably still have buses going to Ikea, Mitsuwa, & that Soju spa across from Mitsuwa
You know, I used to travel that route from Penn street to NJ almost 27 years ago, and it’s hardly changed!
Very good
Thank you for showing this. In general, I've wanted to use NJ Transit a bit and you made it seem very possible. I'm sorry about your heated glove.
You're welcome! NJ Transit is a mess of complicated ticketing, machines, and fares based on zones!

I've haven't done that also.
It seems the validators are mostly for mobile tickets
I don't remember if I've ever scanned a ticket. Most of them time I show my paper tickets or mobile tickets to the bus driver.
You have to give it to the driver, that is

seriously, that bus terminal gives Lumiose City a run for its money when it comes to being like a maze. But the NJ Transit ticket machines make up for it by being straight-forward and helpful if you don't know which route you're taking
Why are we talking about a Pokémon city?
@@AZAtro2648 because like the PABT, it's also pretty easy to get lost in Lumiose City cause it's a maze. Something they both have in common
For those who watched this video hoping to get an idea of where the bus lets off, check out his sequel video walking through the mall. You can see that the bus lets off outside the entrance to the mall near the Swarovski store, which is near the section of the mall where Saks is located.
Looking forward to the mall video. 👍
Nice, I always Pass by this Mall when I go to New Jersey and it sometimes looks Abandoned.
Nice ride. The narrator seems like a very pleasant fellow! Good information. 🙂
Thank you for another great video ✨👍 just made it to the bus 🚌 stay warm and be safe ❄️🤍
Hi A.K you really learned how to get around and travel, your videos get better and better. 😊👋
AK, thank you for this informative video, and you're so helpful to future visitors! 🤗 The bus ride to the American Dream Mall really builds up the hype to the dedicated EPIC mall video, and I'm so looking forward to it! 🤩
You're welcome! I'm looking forward to releasing it!
Your city has what seen , like a nice confortable bus rides.
I like yall buses there, seen so cozy.
Hello AK as usual another great video, I have never been to this mall, so thank you for taking me , well us my husband is watching too, thank you, stay safe and well, too bad you lost your glove! 😋😋👍👍🌈🌈
Every long walk NYC, you must take time and good shoes. Beautiful City.
Thank you for blogging this content help keep
New Yorkers moving forward
I live in Greenpoint so this is good and I have been to Dream mall with the kids like 4 times already. They love IT THERE!!!❤💯💯
I almost cannot believe the new, gleaming, graffito free subway tiles in the concourse. It looks wonderful.
Hello Ak, I saw the video of the American Dream Mall on your Action Kid Extra channel, I thought it was great, and today you show us how to get to the Mall, great! Huge greetings to you, from Santiago de Chile💝👌😘
That bus is a lot nicer than the local buses that I have near me.
That's pretty fast commute to the mall from public transit. I would just suck it up and pay 16 bucks in toll coming back.
Very helpful!
I wish I could have you as my tour guide when I visit New York
Great AK ❤️
Great video bud, I travel on MTA transportation all the time, we could be travel buds! And yes PABT is definitely a maze.
Holland Tunnel connects lower Manhattan to Jersey City.

negative 6 celsius - wow, that's pretty cold
Thanks for the video.
Fantastic

Hello Action Kid
from near Chicago. Today is my 77th Birthday.
Happy Birthday! 🥳🍺🎂
Happy happy birthday!
Happy Birthday Robert! If you don’t mind me asking what was your favorite decade?
Finally I can figure out how to get there, thank you Action Kid, my daughter can finally go there.
Glad to be of help
Thanks for showing us the way, sorry about your glove. I know that sucked big time!
Bruh that car at 23:15 was so fast that it looked like it was sliding on the road!!
Born and raised in n Jersey and I still ain't been to this mall yet.🤣

@23:15, the rims of the car looks stationery, almost like a game that's glitching
It's way better walk the distance outside because you have to go down long stairs and then up plus there's a lot of homeless down there
Oh my goodness thank you i really wanna take my stepson.
Thank you Kenneth. This was a great ride. Hope you got a new glove for this cold weather. I will be waiting for your show about the mall itself. I sounds like an unbelievable place that one should visit. Have fun and see you soon again.
It was a very quick ride
They should have golf cart taxi’s in that subway/metro terminal maze so you don’t get lost and get to the NJ bus faster.
New York subway looks very scary
Different sections of the mall might be miles apart. 😆😆
I Love This ❤
Quality content
Great Actiom
Now I just hope the mall itself improves haha.
I hope it fails because they estimate 40 million people to come in a single year and I work in NYC this doesn't benefit me on a commute to work
sometimes i miss my city but i love living in costa rica
Thanks man. Great video. I want to take my grandkids there to Toys R Us. God bless.
My son has been there twice to this mall i want to go there one day
Unless there was some type of edit that I didn't realize, I calculated a 13 minute ride from NYC to the American Dream Mall once the bus started moving. Really impressive time considering NYC traffic
Well that’s splendid I do this right now this morning nyc is dangerous
Recorded May 10th 2015. of 355 to American Dream from NYC
MAN that was complicated!
Good evening AK wow you thought you got left have a great evening 💙💙
I enjoyed watching your video and thanks so much for showing how to buy NJ transit; I would love to the American Dream Mall. How many minutes for the ride from NY to NJ America Dream Mall ?
Hello Action Kid, would you show us how to use the LIRR from Penn Station to Grand Central Station?
