    Since you asked: Americans did fight in Europe, but the main enemy of the U.S. in the war was Japan (hence the bomb). If you remember the bit at the first Hydra base where the one guy looks at the other and says, "What, are we taking everybody?" That's not just run-of-the-mill racism, it was specifically because the other guy was Japanese. He responded "I'm from Fresno" (city in California) to emphasize he was a U.S. citizen and they were on the same side.

    Technically they could've been saying hail to the other guy, but in terms of "lore" Hydra is a separate group within them founded by the Red Skull. Some of it was explained in the movie, basically they are following his ambitions for artifacts like the Teseract (blue cube) and world domination.

    • @lordsathariel4384
      @lordsathariel4384 Рік тому +1

      ye Red skull actually states at a few points he finds hitlers ambition and obsession [meaning his insane racism and facsination with magic over science] very annoying and childish because the red skull thinks science is the way and that there is no spiritual side to things which in the mcu means he kinda done for but ye hydra is completely separate while some members still do think their superior its more based on the fact their mostly science experiments and geniuses so are technically better in some area's which is why they hate having to work for the Nazi party because to hydra they are a bunch of savages masquading as better then everyone else

    6:30 America was mostly active in the Pacific theater in WW2 where they fought mostly Japan. America joined largely because of the bombing of pearl harbor and after pushing japan back over the course of WW2, they ended their side of the war by dropping 2 atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I could go on about so much since I love history but that's basically a brief summary of what America was doing.

    While Superman and Spider-man are my favorite super heroes from comics, Captain America is easily my favorite from the movies. Everyone else is complicated and has all sorts of baggage (Iron Man is someone who is atoning for his past of selling weapons, Thor is an egotistical prince who has to learn humility and service to others, Hulk is unable to control his rage, etc etc) but Cap is just a good man doing his best to do the right thing. And Chris Evans plays him so well and gives him so much heart.

    To answer your questions, yes. the US was VERY involved in WW2. It was highly unlikely the allies would have won if the US never got involved. The Germans Even had the UK boxed in to their homes in London with bombing attacks when we joined. Even before officially joining the combat about halfway through we were secretly shipping weapons, ammunition, and food to the allies. And then Japan attacked a major military port in Hawaii (the island state in the Pacific Ocean) called Pearl Harbor and killed thousands of sailors and other military personnel. After that the American people half near rioted to join the war officially to get revenge on the Axis for the attack. With our near untouchable location in the world, fresh minds and determination and industrial capabilities, the US steam rolled the already weary axis and won the war.

      Oh and the main countries involved were the UK, France, and Russia on the Allies side, and then Germany, Italy, and Japan on the Axis side with the US officially joining the Allies about half way in.

      @@acow1385 Again, that's just semantics. It's not a huge sweeping change. If it had gotten split in half down the middle and creating an East and West Russia or something, I would agree they should be referred to differently. But losing the area now known as Ukraine is not that big of a change.

    So what i'm sayong is that there are some people that will go willingly to war with honest reasons and u should not complain about your country when there are so many others that has it worse even without being poor... so i"m not counting african countries or places like haiti... i'm tlaking about venezuela, argentina, cuba, mexico...

    Don you are really going in on small Steve for being a good person? In the beginning he told that guy to shut up because he was being a prick. Regardless of the bigger scope of war(s), those are still individuals who are laying their life on the line and that guy was being disrespectful to them. He didn't say it to him because he thought he could beat him up, he said it because he is good. Similar to wanting to join the war, he even states that people are PUTTING THEIR LIFE ON THE LINE why shouldn't he do the same. Again he isn't going to war to be a hero, he is going because he doesn't put himself above others and wants to to the most he can in the most direct way he can to end the war.
