In the UK the type of roof you are talking about is called a hip roof, these roofs look amazing but there are an awful lot of awkward cuts on the spars as well as the tiles , good luck !!!
Hi from Ontario Canada. Andris, you are great, I look forward to watching what you're up to every Friday. Have to thank you. I've got a lot of tips from you. Say hi to super family from all of us. And dude, stay safe, you do some pretty sketchy stuff, makes me nervous.
What an awesome job and such a great addition to compliment supermoms garden scene. The only thing I was disappointed about is that we never got to see supermoms reaction to it, she must think her son is so clever. Well done mate, good length video and as always the greatest conversation to go along with it. Well done mate, really enjoyable viewing as always
That ended up very nice. Maybe you can get those clear tarp/vynil curtains that you can easily button-up for winter and use it as a dry storage during the winter.
Got to be the best line ever, 'Some Japanese woodworker is going to have a heart attack', I nearly drowned in my coffee. 😂😂 Always used old engine oil on timber below ground or just above, used to mix a little bit of paraffin in with it lasted for year's, now of course they treat it with arsenic not sure which ones worse. 😂 Lovely build Ants, think you're definitely going to be in Super Mum's good books for a long time. Good seeing her riding her mower again, please pass on best wishes from the UK contingent. 👍
man, again, great job, nice building, supermum will be very proud of her superson ;-) greats from good old germany to all of you guys, may be could hammer the german mixer on the outer surface, to replace the old concret, than it will run better again, may be... be blessed my estonian hero... greats christian ;-)
Hello from Vancouver Island Canada, I really like watching your show you've always got some unique & cool ideas. Your gazebo looks great👍 Cheers to you and your Family.
@@Ants_PantsDude I bet! I get too impatient trying to edit stuff like that and also my computer grinds to a halt trying to process it. 🤣 You make it look good. 🤘🏼
Ants i love the way you make up things as you go like me and it turns out as our own creation. I loved this video so much I really enjoyed it my friend you are a hard worker and so nice to your super mum. sending all the best from Australia
Great video, awesome project, Andris Estonian plumbing isn't that different from the UK. The pipe you were using is 15mm copper. The most common fittings are solder, push fit, brass compression, and crimp. Could you not find a short piece of square tubing and weld a piece of round bar to it and make a long T handle to act as a water shut off valve key to isolate the water supply and drill a 30mm hole in the decking Reference your petrol pressure washer. Most don't work well with hot water as the pump body seals swell and leak. You'd be better off saving up and getting a hotbox machine like Andrew has. You need a minimum of 75 degrees water heat to remove old machine grease. Keep up the great work
Two and a half hours - holy crap 😅 But I enjoyed every minute - I really do like those super long project videos - much more than those projects cut into several short once.
super cool project and I really like how it came out. One suggestion I have is to seal the open ends where the ridge caps meet the 4 corner posts or you will get rodents such as mice or squirrels build nests underneath the ridge caps, even chewing up the rubber mat you glued down. All solid concrete tile roofs I saw have those ends sealed with concrete mud for that reason. oh, and before you seal the bottom of the deck with more boards, remember that you still have to crawl under it twice a year to turn the water valve. Or you can make yourself a special wrench key to access the valve from the top through a small hole in the deck, covered with a matching plug or metal cover.
Honestly, right now I am at a loss for the words that would most genuinely express to you the heart-felt pride I have watching you work this project. So, I am going to take an intermission break at about the 1.5 hour mark and fill you in on the rest of my thoughts when I reach the end of your epic adventure build. 😊😊😊
Looks great , I think it will work well !!! You have a lot of neat plumbing pieces and roofing material we don't , the electrical parts we definitely don't have, but look a whole lot easier . 😊
It took me 3 hours to watch, I needed an extra 30 minutes in the middle of the video to buy new popcorn from the supermarket... as always, great job.😂😂😂😂😂👍
That gazebo has more hurricane straps than whole house in FL, can probably with stand cat 5 storm, supper mom should be very happy, good son. nice build.
The corners of the platform are hanging from 8 of those gal screws. They should have some significant bolts through the posts as everything else hangs from them. Next time would be good to have the non cut sides of the post inside so the beams would sit on the 6 mm steel. Or weld a ledge to the steel so each beam is not hanging on thin screws.
You should have become and engineer Andris. You always think outside the box and the end result is always great. Congratulations on a terrific build. The gazebo is very complementary to the garden and it will last forever. I’m sure your mum will spend many years enjoying this wonderful building. You’re such a good son. We’ll done indeed. Cheers from Australia. 👏🏻👏🏻🇦🇺. (And, I completely enjoyed the long format video. 👍🏻)
Genius!!! Super Sister and Super Mom are very lucky to have you in their lives. Excellent video. I pray that God will continue to bless you and keep you safe.
Great job! Your Super mom will love it. I built my super mom a pergola 3 years ago. She's 79 now and spends more time sitting out there than anywhere else.
I use a string & add a bubble gauge. Add temporary wooden stakes. Not a big fan of 9" grinders. But on doing that had to check string level. Still amazing timber & those long screws take the work out of building. Nice happy bloke, use to have here a whistler on the job.
Jings, that was a detailed build though - all those angles on the timber and then the tiles and even the guttering. Well done Andris, the structure looks so cool and is reminiscent of bandstands we have in many of our public parks in Scotland! Hopefully nature will not penetrate the barrier and sand layers, especially at the footings or the service pipes. Nice wee task for Supermum!
What a blessed mom and sister to have an amazingly skilled brother/son. Everything you build is amazing. I enjoy your video's they make me smile and laugh. Many blessings to you and your family. 😊👏
With that big cross support beam in the center, you could put a nice porch swing in there for Super Mom to sit and enjoy the shade when she needs to cool down. That fabrication for the top of the concrete shingles came out way better than i thought it would at first glance ... NICE JOB!!! BEEFCAKE!!!
Very cool beans project. Hoping Super Mom gets years of enjoyment out there. Don't forget; in the event of a freak hurricane during an earthquake, have everyone run outside and crawl under the floor of the gazebo. I shouldn't mention this but where I come from folks using a chain saw for construction are called wood butchers. I'm almost a pro at wood butchering. Only two rules need to be followed: It won't fall over and the roof doesn't leak. 1:33:04 They are called cap tiles. They are in every building supply store next to the chicken lips and mobius strip fan belts. Pipe and tubing crimper needs brushes and armature cleaning / turning. Weakly supported outer deck. Support with laminated beams. They can't flex.
Andris that gazebo you built would probably be at least 10,000.00 dollars here in Canada. That is a fantastic job you did on that, Three thumbs up on this build.
I have never heard of anyone working as hard as you do. If you were contracted to build anything for individuals or governments, it would last at least 100 years or until a direct earthquake comes along. I'm not even sure an earthquake would make a difference. A volcano might bury it but it would not fail. Best wishes from Houston.
Hi everyone🎉
Hi
Hey ho Andris. Have a nice weekend my friend.
hello Sir
Hi
hi to new gazebo! i built my first while in lock from that.. chinesium airborne crap
Wow, even Joseph won’t be able to take that building down 😂❤❤❤
Lets try 😀

Next time you need to set some posts like that, you should set up a few string lines so you can get everything level before mixing the concrete :P
