Lyrics:
Baby, 'cause you cut me like a knife
Without your love in my life
Alone I walk in the night
'Cause I just can't stop this feelin'
It's torture, it's torture, it's torture

Michael's voice is like fairy dust. It has the power to enlighten any song
Let's face it, he was at such stratospheric heights back then in the mid 80's.
Just two years after Thriller LP, 1984 Say Say Say and his chorus featuring in awesome Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me.
It's even more relevant to me in this one (Rockwell) actually. He just adds that supreme layer on a great tune.
Despite Michael's star shining so much brighter, no one can deny the brothers still made some bangers together
Still one of the best jackson songs until this day. Anyone hearing this 2023? New generation will never understand real music like the Jackson's. Way better then garbage songs.
Still my jam...
2023
Broh im 16💀
Bro, I'm, 60. lol. All good. great music never dies.
@@Ea3br0h P.S. I have it on vinyl, if you want to borrow it. cheers
Superb
Everyone talking about Mike and sleeping on Tito's sick guitar work.
Is he really playing on this track though? Wikipedia says Jack Wargo is the one doing the guitar solo. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_(The_Jacksons_album)#Personnel
Tito knows hes a beast....but Michael Jackson is the biggest star ever so...hes going to get the most attention
My mom saw the Jackson’s Victory Tour concert in Detroit and she says that it was so amazing that she will never forget it
Good because they are kinda of a forgotten band except Michael
@@elotroladodelarealidadjr8470Not at all, they're still performing!!
Obviously
Fck yes.!!
yes it was!
MJ kills the vocals 🔥🔥
So did Jermaine and Jackie.
@@gmcneoplan84 MJ The Best
@@gmcneoplan84 Nah man, Jermain and Jackie were good....they have great voices but Michael's was next level awesome
People sleeping on how amazing this song is
👍👍👍
I only discovered it thanks to spotify, I´ve never heard it before in my life, and I loved it!!
And everything Kat williams said was true listen to the lyrics
Wish we could go back to those days! Today's music can't even compare to the music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Love the Jackson 5!! They had so much talent especially Michael Jackson!!
that's the wrong nostalgic.. wanting to live in the past. just enjoy songs like this now and then
The world stops once you hear Michael Jackson sing.
Great song featuring Jermaine and Michael on lead vocals, and Jackie on background vocals
Michael and Jermaine turned this shit out!
Unpopular opinion: this is better than State of Shock
Michael's voice...my god!!🔥
"Does the sound of your name turn a wheel start flame in me?" 😍😍✊️
While MJ certainly added to the song, it would have been great without him.
Magical!
Verse was crazy
all their voices sound good to me, not just Michael
Wow 2024. Still rocks Jackson brothers Torture. Michal's voice is heavenly. There isn't even anything worth to compare with these songs.
I love the song , Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin’
Jermaine and Michael’s voices different and very Beautiful
Me too
It is Jermaine not Germain
@@gmain1977
Sorry I wrote it in french
everytime michael starts his verse in this song i get goosebumps, all the jackson were so talented but wow i always loved Michael's voice the most, i am glad to have seen a concert live of him.
Michael’s vocals are pure perfection !!!!
Underrated song. This is masterpiece
It's so sad in the 1980s and 1990s that Michael and Jermaine didn't get along or really like each other's company. Together, just think of the many hits they could have made together back in the 80s and 90s. Man, the bridge part of this song with Michael and Jermaine is a vocal sight to behold.
Jermaine was always jealous of Michael's success. Even going back to the Jackson 5, Jermaine was bitter over Michael getting the spotlight as lead singer.
MJ comes in vocally its over
I heard this song in a knight rider episode. Great TV show, great song, great 80's era
The song is already great...but it jus changes and goes to another level when Michael comes on the mic 🎤
One of the best verses of Jermaine's career was the first verse of this song. So soulful and so passionate he was with his vocals on that verse 😎.
Maybe for the pop songs, not his entire catalog.
@@eprince1388 As someone who has heard his pop and R&B songs for years, I stand by what I said.
Jermaine should’ve sung lead on the entire song and should have been the lead singer of the group not Michael!
@@joegonzalez4468 nope, Jermain had a great voice and he definitely was underrated but come on....Michael just had it, the voice, the stage presence, the moves.....he had it all and the Jacksons wouldn't have been recognised without Michael. Jermain was the lead before Michael joined because Joe realised Michael's talent and put him as lead instead. It was after that people knew who the Jackson 5 was, it was no Jackson 5 without Michael. They would be lost without him, the brothers needed money and that's why Michael did the victory tour with them....to help them out and from that he donated his earnings to charity.
Underrated gem. A true masterpiece in my book.
👍
Mike on the top of his game here 😎
The more time is pushing us further away from the 80‘s, the more golden this unique decade appears in retrospective and the more painful is the certainty, that the wheel of time can‘t be turning back…all that remains, are memories, that come back to the surface, while listening to stunning musical masterpieces like this secret, hidden juwel!🔥
Some of MJs best vocal work here
My favorite I saw the Victory tour in 1984 in Cleveland Ohio and lost it. Was the best ever Michael man I miss you so❤️
Jermaine and Michael Duets or co lead vocal tracks are undefeated.
Dude this album cover is absolutely sick
For some reason, I have been thinking about this song out of nowhere. Had to come on and give it a listen.
The Jackson 5 es súper genial. Pero la voz de Michael es Celestial.
This brings back so many high school band memories.. We used to rock out to this at football games and parades‼️
Same. I loved playing this in high school band
Omg don't 😂 I'm a 2005 baby so unfortunately I'm the black sheep at my high school because I'm the biggest Jacksons fan....Michael is my man though 😩❤️🔥
Michael’s voice warns, seduces, whips and cajoles … you can’t but helplessly surrender 🙇♀️🙇🏻♂️🔥🧯
😩 so true 😩 can I surrender
I remember when this song hit. One of my all time favorites
The Jacksons still rockin it in 2021
😎🤘🎤❤🔥
2022
@@joncorn716 the original comment was from 2021. let peoples comments be dated. 🤭
Michael's voice is pure gold here!
Who is here in 2024, this song is in Knightrider season 3 episode 1
I remember taping the video when I was 12
You can all thank Jeff Porcaro and Steve Lukather for making this groove.
Among so many others.
@@Part-Time-Pope Get both books if you don't already have them.."The Gospel According To Luke" and "It's About Time" - autobiographies of both Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro -- so many great details and stories you won't find elsewhere.
Both of them were on thriller as well as Porcaro's brother.
If the fate of the world is ever at stake, I know what my hype song is. love this groove so much. Jacksons got it on 🔒
The Album Cover did it for Me
Me and My cousins saw The Victory Tour I was like 11 or 12 ai the Meadowlands Arena in Jersey I will never forget that
Michael's Voice With His Brothers the Jacksons 5🤩🤩🎤🎤🎶🎧😍😁
I love this song..The J5 slammed it..and Michael showed out on this song..he let loose..love it .
The Jacksons’s Magnum Opus!
Rip To The King Of Pop Michael Jackson, We Still Miss You Always
Masterpiece!!! I listen to this every day
👌👌👌👌👌❤🔥
Jeff Porcaro on drums. Fantastic drummer. Ure missed
When music was music the voices are unreal brilliant
Que o Senhor Jesus Cristo cuide de teu espírito agora Michael Jackson. Descansa em paz.
My dad got me listening to this. I've been missing out. What a bop!
I wish I could go back to 1984 😔
Why does this still go so hard in 2021🔥🎸🎶 It's Torture 🎶🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥
Because we love good music🥰
Best song ever on the album alongside State of Shock.
Jackie wasn't playing around with that outro/solo of this song.
This song make everything all better ❤
While you're bobbing your head and stomping your feet to the beat of this song, there's some good ole lyrics in this song about being alone or being away from your lady (either by breakup, giving each other some space, and etc.), just the mental torture you go through by being alone.
Married for almost 30 years and it's torture whenever we are apart
Michael Jackson nunca haverá outeo igual a voce.Genial ...
One of my favorite Jackson's album. These brothers jammed on this recording. Classic!
The Cover artwork is like from another Planet! Gotta looooove it ❤️❤️❤️
They are from another planet
The album cover is fantastic 👌. In fact I have the t shirt to it too.
この曲は私にとって一番大好きな曲です!本当に素晴らしい曲ですよね‼️
1: 44 the king was born
I get to play this song at my competition next week 😊. I have loved the Jacksons/Jackson 5 since I was a little kid
Still jamming to it
2022,2023 .....and on and on and on
Brilliant song
Man, I love the voices of these guys. And the music is good.
Saw them live at Madison square Garden for their Victory Tour.....they were PHENOMENAL!!
I play this particular song often when I leave work because to me that's what my job is TORTURE!!.
😂
The guitar lead is soooo good, sounds like Santana, though I am sure it wasn’t him.
Their last top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 when it reached #17 in late 1984
Rip Michael Jackson genius 🙏
The Jackson’s lady’s gentleman’s ❤️
I love the whole family!
Jermaine is singing with its bro Michael
Berry said that's Magic
Jackie sings the chorus here
@@ericrainey8224 yes , I 'm wrong , excuse me😅
I love you all! ❤️
Such a good song
It was on a street so evil
So bad that even hell disowned it
Every single step was trouble
For the fool who stumbled on it
Eyes within the dark were watching
I felt the sudden chill of danger
Something told me keep on walking
Told me I should not have come there
Baby, 'cause you cut me like a knife
Without your love in my life
Alone I walk in the night
'Cause I just can't stop this feelin'
It's torture
It's torture
It's torture
She was up a stair to nowhere
A room forever I'll remember
She stared as though I should have known her
Tell me what's your pain or pleasure
Every little thing you find here
Is simply for the thrill you're after
Loneliness or hearts of fire
I am here to serve all masters
She said, reality is a knife
When there's no love in your life
And merciful is the night
When you just can't stop this feeling
It's torture
It's torture
It's torture
And I still can't find the meaning, no, no, no
Of the face I keep on seeing
Was she real or am I dreaming?
Did the sound of your name
Turn a wheel, start the flame in me?
Ah, oh-oh, keep burning
Baby, 'cause you cut me like a knife
Without your love in my life
Alone I walk in the night
And I just can't stop this feelin'
It's torture
It's torture
It's torture
We gonna need
It's torture
'Cause we have a plan
It's torture
We gonna need
It's torture
Hey
It's torture
It's torture
It's torture
We gonna need
It's torture
Yeah, we would have planned
It's torture
We gonna need
It's torture
Hey

Love this song
God bless. Jesus saves
We dance this song before during high school days 1984
Their best song ever. Hands down!!!
Michael. E. Jameine. Jackson. Canta. Essa. Música
very underrated track
Very meaningful lyrics, which speaks my 2011-2018 life. And i listen this song on 2022. Wat a wonder
Randy should ve been pushed by his brothers to pursue a single s career he was a great untapped treasure.
Wow ❤️🙏🏻...never heard before
Michael Jackson Forever 2023 🙏
I LISTEN even when I WAS YOUNG. 🔥
I was so afraid of this video as a child 😂 but love the song
Randomly a FnF superchat recommended this song.
ON GOD THIS SHIT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The prime of Michael Jackson.
Yeah, especially the 1979 to 1991 period. You couldn't f*** with Michael in that period. Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987) and Dangerous (1991). Who makes albums like that?
@@gmcneoplan84 HIStory was cool too.
@@whitetiger3697 history was good but that was after the 1993 allegations....so after that Michael was in a bad light
Their best song (my opinion)
So awesome great song by the Jackson's and Michael of course
I saw the Jackson's in 1978 at the sunrise musical theater...somebody stole my ticket later!
😍 I don't just feel good listening to this song; I feel ever so lovingly euphoric listening to this song!💕💞😍
The music good music 💔🖤

Tito, my man I put you up there with Jimmie hendrix, axel rose, Eddie van Halen, slash from guns and roses, play on tito...
Love this song! Played in Knight Rider episode of Knight of the Drones Part 1 as well.
Correct! However, it was a cover. A pretty good one in my opinion.
Omg !! This is a Black marching band classic!!
