Haha your in a better spot then me cause I myself opened a chest and then was somehow instantly transported to a glintstone mine full of these horrific bug like creatures which shoot bio projectiles with INSANE tracking out of their actual bodies but I'm getting through it as if I was a shell shocked soldier going through a enemy encampment where one wrong move means death LOLXD!!.. Also this cave leads to a toxic swamp which causes scarlet rot and is chock full of those weird creatures that poison you but these ones are about twenty times bigger. I LOVE THIS GAME 😅

Here's something much easier.
Run to the opening on the left at 1:44. Aim up to the other side where there is an opening for the pillar to rise. Then throw any pot bomb into the hole to trigger it.

Like i threw the pot and the fire pillar started rising but i died instantly as i was too close to the chariots and then when i ran back to the place with two chariots they both destroyed themselves and i got the armor but i still died cause the third one from the back hit me but still bro THANKS!

For those wondering, the fire pillar he hits raises and destroys the chariot that's going up and down the ramp. You can see bits of it once he kills the skeleton

And he didn't even need the bubble... BTW I'm not sure it is about the fire... Because after I got the armor I runned around to uderstand whats just happened... But didn't find any fire that could hit the chariot... Instead I noticed that on the firethrower column there was also a chariot spawn beam (basically a statue with a torchlight) raising up the column make the spawner change position and probably make the chariots crash in the walls...
I'm saying that just because I searched for an explanation and my fist thought was about the fire too...but there is not even a silgle fire jet Tha goes in the chariots trajectory...in advance...hitting the column destroy all 4 chariots at the same time and on different levels...i don't think it could be caused by the column fire

Got this last night. Love it. Spent all day leveling up my endurance so I can use it and a weapon with medium load. It's awesome. Can now tank a ton of damage
How many endurance make that armor become med.load?

Locking amazing armor behind such an obscure puzzle in a dungeon that no one in their right mind would ever want to return to after beating it is the cruelest thing I've ever seen.
Nah, cruel is telling someone there is one illusionary wall in the game that has a ton of HP and takes like 50 hits to break through but not telling them where it is
@@raeishimura That's why I'm nice enough to gesture towards the bugged wall you have to hit 50 times, even though it's just to enter a room you can unlock with a key anyway.
lmao I did the puzzle without even realizing I saw the pillar and hit it saw it rose and assumed it was for something uptop and I was correct I died and came back from the beginning ran through to see if I missed anything next thing I know the chariots all end up dying
Certified fromsoftware moment. Also hiding one of the most cinematic bosses behind an extremely obscure platforming section leading to u needing to lay down next to a tornado
you can use a crossbow or bow to turn off the flamethrower traps.
You can also use throwing knives.

For anyone watching at 2:43 if you have Margot shackles you can use it to stop the chariot from being there, it'll disappear and when you run down the pillar that shoots flame will already be down and you can finish and get the armor
If only Torrent would have a golden armor too, i would be completely happy.

Thanks for this! If you open the wall of mist at the start of this area, you can get the Golden Epitaph Sword which gives a Holy buff against skeletons. You don’t need the Bubble either. In fact, you can run naked through this area and use the increased range of a Light Load to enable better rolls. The timing has to be precise though.
And when you hop down to kill the skeleton that drops the Armour set, just remember to equip the Golden Epitaph and skill up before fighting to kill it easily.

I thought it was a skeleton too but I'm pretty sure the Chariot exploded
I've tried 3-4 times but the skeleton didn't drop anything, the chariots never exploded either, i was thinking that was because I had no bubble in any occasion but if u have done it without and get the drop I don't know what it is.
It has nothing to do with the skeleton, the video doesn’t even cover it properly. On mine the chariots hit each other and broke, that’s how you get it. His route is completely pointless and this video doesn’t show how to get it at all
I got to the skeleton and killed it and the armor did not drop for me. Any suggestions?

the regular treesentinel actually uses the erdtree greatshield (big round one with vines) you're wearing the malformed dragon one. you can get the entire malformed set from the sentinel right before maliketh. also, there's a much easier way of going about this. after you get past the basilisks instead of going down go up and the fire pillar is on the right
YOU CAN SKIP MOST OF THIS! I just found out by accident. I accidentally used Margit's shackle near the top of the first ramp and when I got to the second one with the two chariots, the statues were already up and they both broke, which gave me the armor
You can also use moghs shackle

you just have to run quick enough through the first 2 chariots and by chance there will a new one spawn in front of the second one which will then destroy it and give u the armor set

What's weird is that I am a faith build and did the erdtree blessing spell on the erdtree symbol being beamed on the ground, all chariots got destroyed and I instantly got the armor.

The fued between the tree sentinel and i is deep rooted and personal. Id love to see the look on his face when i pull up in ng+ wearing his armor.
Instead of running directly to the fire pillar, if you take the little stairway to the right of it, you'll end up fighting an omen and you get a talisman that improves your rolling if you beat him
If you ever want to wear heavy armor and circumvent the fat roll try seeking the bloodhound step art of war (fastest dodge in the game and you vanish in smoke increasing I frames) and pairing with the carian filigreed crest talisman (lowers art of war FP consumption). I use this with my mage and I’m practically invincible as long as I have enough FP.
Where’d you get the art of war and that talisman??
Can you put the Bloodhound Step on Academy Glintstone Staff?
May i ask what weapon u use for the hound step? Im use mage build too, also can u use both that hound step on left hand weapon while still using staff on right hand for spell?
@@prastyogunawan8745 You could put it on another weapon and switch when you need to use it.
There's also an armory talisman that increases your weight limit by 20 pounds if you can spare the slot.
Btw guys there is a boss fight there don’t miss it…it’s behind the chariot with a short path where you jump down the ledges

My experience with getting this armor totally by fluke was turning back at the ramps after going up the ladder I noticed a entrance of some sort went up there avoiding the chariot there was a first fire pillar I hit that didn't have a clue what it did n some time later think I died a few times I got the sentinal armor,,I didn't even know there was another fire pillar down near a lift tbh..just got lucky there I rekon.

It worked. Guys where he uses the drink thing you gonna wanna just go up there instead of down then hit the flame thing then die, go down again the machines will destroy and you'll get the armour

even when it seems like it chariots don't do instakill, instead they deal like 1500 dmg. With enough vigor (40+ or so) you can tank one hit

Actually, you gotta just hit the fire trap column in section when you used your potion. After this all rolling machines are just get destroyed.

You can just hit the skeletons again while they're trying to revive to permanently kill them.
This, just slap them while their self reviving and they'll stay down for good.

This was very clutch. Thank you so much. Hardest part is finally getting there without going through a boss, and was even able to do it without a bubble shield running with light weight. Definitely took me a few try’s before full success

Best to crouch down as close to the wall and when the chariot goes behind you run you will just make it take of all gear
You don't need the roll boost or the bubble, at the last steel wheel go up instead and you can hit the tower from there.
It wont destroy the steel wheel when I do it
@@dondino-1024 Once I hit the tower and it went up I just died and respawned and went through it again and it destroyed the wheels. Hope this helps

you can cheese this at 1:42 literally 4 feet to your left there’s an opening in the middle of that whole ramp. spam margit’s shackle in that safe spot until they blow up.

On XSX. I was able to get the armor. I made it to where he uses the bubble and got killed by roller. Was going to try removing armor at that point to go faster. Was by the grace for a couple minutes. Started again and made it to the section with 2 going opposite, halfway down towards the beam drop the rollers broke and I got the armor. I’m not sure what happened but I don’t really care because now I’m a tree.

As a level 55 who's not defeated the first boss I've explored almost all the map,like 80% I need to defeat the draconian tree sentinel to access the next part sad times

No offense but why does it sound like your crying when your talking
If you have high enough vigor to not get one-shot, on the last chariot you use the bubble on, instead make a break for it once it passes over your head and behind you. You'll get knocked into the safe spot and won't get stun lock killed when it turns around. The timing needs to be very tight, to the point where you almost run headfirst into the chariot when leaving the safe spot. I accomplished this with a medium load.
Margits shackle will trigger traps and kill all the chariots.

doing this on an sl1 run, and you dont need the tearstone thing, if you have bloodhound step you can spam it and move fast enough to get past the chariot

K he leaves this out when you get to the flames shoot it with a bow or crossbow safely go over shoot it again go over to the stairs when you get to the stairs shoot at 1 more time because that's what we'll kill the sentinel then just drop down and get ready for the skeleton
I would have that exact set up except switch the Axe with the Tree Great Spear and the Shield with the Golden Greatsheild. Spear to match the Spartan look and shield because the Golden Greatshield has MUCH higher guard boost and keeps the gold look
The crucible gear from the boss in there is nice too

Just wanna let everyone know you don’t need the spell, Blood hound step works just as good but your timing must be absolutely perfect, meaning no second to spare when the chariot is on his way up over your head, that’s your cue to haul ass down hill then to the right!!! Happy hunting!!!!

Don't do the bubble bit, just run up instead of down. That way you do not have to dodge the fire, or shoot the pillar with an arrow.

this was probably one of the most frustrating areas.. right up there with the fire giant
Bloodhound step works too instead of the bubble, I was able to out run it by shadow stepping forward
I love how similar the armor looks to Velstadt from DS2.

I set the light thing up and I didn’t think it was gonna work and went back to the Grace and tried to see if it would work and I just got the armor lol

i´m now at sl110 wielding that armor, with the golden spear and the three sentinel shield (38 endurance needed, and also the erthree favor talisman and the other heavy weight talisman of caelid, but that entire set with the weapon and shield LOOKS INSANELY BADASS AF

Thx mate 🙂 just a minor correction, the bubble is not mandatory, the ash of war called "Raptor of the Mists" lets you ignore the chariots damage altogether, i found it to be alot more useful 🙂
