Parkitect Campaign (Part 24) - Sheer Cliffs - Beach Boulevard

- Sheer Cliffs is a scenario with one of the most interesting terrains of the campaign - with a rocky cliff separating tall, grassy hills from the sandy beach below. So my idea for this map was to build rides and coaster stations on top, while letting their layouts drop down to the water :)

Hey Silvarret! I have actually stayed in some resorts in Canada that have the buildings on the cliff overhanging the beach! It's not as unusual as you think. People are generally willing to walk down some pretty steep steps to get to the beach as building beach side is generally a no go (both environmentally and we have some crazy low and high tides)

YES!! I get so amped for this series! Mostly because I’ve done each of theses scenarios perfecting the perfect park thinking, yes I finally got him beat. Then BOOM! You build a much more beautiful park effortlessly. Love all your content been a fan for years. Thanks for keeping it up!
The only other detailing that comes to mind might be some buoys near where the junior coaster comes out -as to keep boaters away- otherwise I really enjoyed watching this. The little island housing the junior coaster might've needed a little concession stand for guest happiness, but otherwise everything turned out nicely. Really liked how the three coasters interacted with the pathways, terrain, and each other!
That intro gives me life!!!!! The rhyming is off the hook 💪🏼
Really awesome Silv. The raised beach blvd actually makes sense to me because in california where I live, the architecture is always mismatched between all of the buildings.
The resort you built is mesmerizing! :O Also, great job on the monorail coaster, it looks badass. In my playthrough, I ended up just using a wild mouse and doing tons of bizarre tweaks to get it to high intensity, lol.
Really great scenario overall, and really great stuff in general.
There already is a coaster with a vertical drop out of the station, Time Traveler at silver dollar city dose exactly this with a drop off a cliff, multiple inversions, and the best part it has launches instead of chain lifts meaning there is no boring part at the end
Did I mention its a spinning coaster as well

I feel like I just brainfarted in the video and forgot it existed, but Helix is a Mack too. As far as Gerstlauer goes, I don't think they have any vertical drops out of the station...

Maybe the junior coaster stops at the top of the lift hill because it has a pirate stroyline and an animatronic doing a bad Bristolian accent is telling the kids to eat their 5 a day so they dont get scurvy

Railblazer is at California's Great America, which is a Cedar Fair park. Wonder Woman is at Six Flags Fiesta Texas (the only park in the world right now with 2 RMCs (this and Iron Rattler))

Railblazer is at California's Great America, a Cedar Fair Park. You can easily get confused as Six Flags owns the other Great America.
six flags great america is my home park and i wish we had railblazer :(
I've been on the Lasso of truth coaster. I'm telling you right now to avoid riding in the back. Almost sent me to heaven and back with how sick I got afterwards!

I really enjoyed this episode! You call the park style "generic" but I think it's very unique! You used the cliff face very well. :)

I’d argue that Adventure Express is a really good ride that starts with a “drop” and ends with a lift
This could be in the Algarve, in South-Portugal. It's beautiful there and you have cliffs at sea.

By the way, you could make that Eurofighter more efficient, by inserting a block brake between the two stations. Not that you need it, but you could.

wow. that game as an insane amount of micro. thats even more micro than what i would have done. unbelievable.
Its funny how you mention anticlimactic lift hills at the end of a ride because in Kings Island their mine train does that but it's indoors with effects and animatronics that lead up to you entering the station again.
A great park as usual. Although I have two small remarks: the queu for the top spin is a bit too short (more people fit on the ride than can queu).
And not sure if Parkitect has a ride like it, but the cliff could use a (chair) lift for those that don't want to clime/descent the path. ;)
You know, to avoid making the last part in such a layout the most boring, just use a launch to get it back up and make that finale the most exciting!
(It's what I did in my play-through :P )
i know it's basic but damn i love those strata textures, not something you see in cliffs in games
if I was building this I would probably make a lot of rides with tunnels going in and out of the cliff.
3:28 It's actually Wonder Woman: Golden Lasso Coaster, and it isn't at two Six Flags parks, it's at Six Flags Fiesta Texas (WWGLC), and California's Great America (RB). Six Flags is building another one, at Six Flags Great Adventure, called Jersey Devil.

You call so much of your themeing generic. It makes me want to see you go all out like the alien mars type sci-fi park from ages ago or just really aim for a specific theme rather than a generic one :D been watching since episode one wow its been a while

I'm not sure if there is a scenario builder in this game, but do you remember the sixflags scenario's in RTC2?
If you like open world builds you could try to recreate Walibi Holland in parkitect like they did in rtc2 .

The first model was designed and installed as 'Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster' at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. - 2018
A mirrored clone of Wonder Woman was installed as 'Railblazer' at California's Great America. - 2018
A taller and faster version with 12 cars per train is opening at Six Flags Great Adventure as 'Jersey Devil Coaster' - 2020
A clone of Jersey Devil is rumored to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. - 2021
2 more of the prototype model are confirmed to be going to other parks - 2021
It was never the designer's intention to sell custom models but if a client wants something, you give it to them. One of the clones is going to Kentucky Kingdom, and the park is already making memes because people leaked their plans.

this map was annoying... I again went with my strategy of building rides with multiple stations at the top and bottom of the cliff to keep people moving between levels. the mouse coaster made this especially easy.
