Parkitect Campaign (Part 25) - Robopark - Hi-tech Roller Coasters
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 жов 2020
- Robopark is a high-tech sci-fi themed scenario with ample available land and probably the most rare selection of rides of any map. I suppose it's a good excuse to make over an hour of video of the most extensive detailing I've done for a Parkitect campaign so far.
Check out the Booms & Blooms DLC here! With fireworks, lots of new trees and of course new rides and rollercoasters.

(I swear I'm not getting paid for this plug, it's just a cool update)
Also, I know I talked about inspiration twice during the video. I guess it's just that long that I forgot what the start of the video was like by the time I got to the end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love everything I see. Great stuff to pull inspiration from. Yeah I build way too much HVAC systems oof.
Actually when you look on bird persp. images of parks, they have ALOT of these on the roofs ^^
Oh a stormtrooper TK16151 ready for duty sir
Actually I meant this, some buildings have a lot, some not much. twitter.com/SoCal360/status/1313934989013127169?s=20
YES - THE RETURN OF SILVARRET'S PARKITECT SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE WAITED SO LONG!!!!
Love the City 17 Citadel look of the tower
That park looks incredible! I'm literally in shock with how good it looks!
You are so right! Silver please, please go on with this series!
Crying
Haha, you must be a newbie in the theme park youtuber scene then xD i already waited more then a year at some points on videos for silv, n7 and others..
7:00 "What I..." what you what, Silv? What you what??
"What i think happened to the lizard people is truly a disaster, their leader "The hoogah boogah" commited seppuku during world war 1 and their people have been different since. When i examined their architekture i realised this wasn't a world ruler type of feel, it was instead sad and bitter. They went trough years of being a "hoax" and not even the advanced 21-century people believe in them. What kind of level of intelligence is needed to open your eyes enough to realise lizard truly rule the world? Why can't we see reality as it is and not for what it was. The oldest leaders of the world are still being called a hoax and new believers get called bad names from their fellow humans. If mark ZUCKerberg didn't create facebook and instead followed their orders the lizard people would have been discovered decades ago. Thats what im thinking of"
Thats probably what he tought of, not sure doe
I was at the edge of my seat for those few seconds
I... forgot to splice the audio in Audacity.

🤣🤣🤣
FINALLY!!!
Don't get me wrong, but this is by far my favorite of your series. Please come back to this.
I love your Parkitect content! Keep it up!
To answer your question midway through, I like the commentary a lot, especially when you share your real-world inspiration for the scenery and ride designs. I've learned a lot about theme parks and rides around the world from these videos.
Like a good coaster, these videos are worth the wait. Thanks man!
I love the long videos! They’re so relaxing to watch
So I just finished Robopark yesterday and was pretty proud of the result...
And then I saw this 😮
Silv this is awesome matey, definitely don’t need to be intimidated by Sci Fi kings Cavy and Astro. So glad you’re finishing the campaign 🥳
Talking about you not caring how we watch long videos:
Me: falling asleep for a few minutes everytime, because Silv's voice is soothing.
"ye podcasts."
Great build as always!!
On the topic of texturizing under coaster track, I believe it adds some realism to your parks. In real life many coasters are inspected monthly (in Universal's case weekly) and the vehicles create a lot of wear on the terrain below.
Looking forward to your next campaign!
A day after my birthday this is released. My wishes have come true
Not a single midroll-ad, what a legend.
Glad someone noticed my sacrifice, midrolls suck 😌
I was worried you wouldn't mention the weenie. I breathed a sigh of relief when you finally said it
Astro has Sci-fi down!! he's done some amazing stuff, I agree. And StudioCavy of course XD
I tend to split your videos up if I need to, but I always come back to watch them! I enjoy your voice, your narration, your creativity and design, your ability to make coasters (I can never make mine look decent!), and your editing. I love your videos as they are! Keep it up!
Classic silv:
Modestly talking about how there are so many great players and it's really not his skill and ideas while building this crazy amazing stuff
OH and: please no shorter edited videos, the longer the better
Hi Silv, I LOVE your videos (especially Parkitect) they always make my day.
Just finished binging this entire play through in the last couple weeks. I have not played Parkitect at all, but I was mesmerized and found the whole thing really inspiring. Was a huge RCT fan, I've had Planet Coaster for almost a year, and I just stumbled across this and honestly couldn't stop watching. I've drawn so much inspiration and I can't wait to start building myself! Thanks for all the great content, you have a new fan/subscriber in me - can't wait to see what you do next!
You are back to Parkitect!
Badass! The sci-fi sculptures are super cool. At a certain point in the video, I started saying out loud "PLEASE STOP DETAILING THIS TOWER, YOU'RE GETTING CARRIED AWAY" but it turned out so cool it doesn't even matter. We love you too, by the way :3
I loved this scenario, one of the most chill ones from the final stretch of the campaign.
I’m 30 minutes in and just have to pause and say that I really enjoy longer videos. Whenever someone drops an hour video I’m like “oooh perfect, lemme grab my snacks, my blanket and get real cozy for this one”.
I'm always amazed by your commentary. It's genuinely some of the deepest and best explanations every time. I always walk away from your videos having learned something new which is a complete bonus considering it's just a sandbox building time-lapse.
I enjoy listening to you for 1 hour. It's always nice, chill and very educational about roller coasters and stuff
I still remember the old days of RCT3. Since then a lot of great stuff has happened and the community has only grown bigger and stronger. Not only your creations have been getting better, but a lot of other people have been improving too. It's truly amazing what people have been creating in Planet Coaster, RCT and Parkitect the last few years and I look forward to the things people will create in the future. I have been drawing inspiration from all these creations since the beginning and still get blown away by the ideas some people can come up with. I especially love to watch / listen to these longer Parkitect episiodes on my second screen while building in Parkitect. I have never really said it before, but I want to thank everyone in the community for the amazing years I've had and the great things people have created.
Great build, and I love the final layout of the park. Especially how you have the diagonal path around the flying coaster toward the back of the park. That looks really good
Such an amazing park! I have been waiting a long time for your new video of Partikect walk through. I do re-watch them to get some inspiration from you. thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and ideas.
FINALLY! Another Parkitect video!!! I would like to extend my thanks to you, Silvarret. Your Cydonia Hills series was the one that got me hooked into this game. Thank you!
Always a pleasure to watch these episodes! Your parks and building themes inspire me to be more creative with the different pieces in ways I hadn't thought of before. :D
Possibly my favourite of all the Parkitect parks you've made so far! Definitely worth the wait - you just keep getting better and better!
The demon at great America started as turn of the centruy, and it had a different layout with hills instead of loops
Yay I really enjoy these videos, they helped me get into the game and now they help inspire what I make while playing. Thank you for all the fun the game has provided!
I‘ve been waiting for this! :D
Thanks for your great content, Silv.
I listen and watch through the whole thing every time. If I don't have time the day the video's released, I'll often save your longer videos for a chill day, or as something to watch before bed. I find your commentary very relaxing and enjoyable.
Just watched the whole video. Loved it. I really enjoy your parkatect episodes and I enjoy both the long and the short videos. Think I like the way it’s all in one video no matter what for the park. Keep it up!
Don't be so humble Silv 🙂 there's no doubt you are a great park builder. Gathering inspiration from others is fine
Hey Silvarret! I finally started playing Parkitect a few days ago, and I've been watching your videos to get inspiration and learn how to make buildings properly. Thanks for these videos!
I love the longer Silvarett videos. It’s a lot of fun listening to you ramble on about stuff 😄 I personally also really enjoy seeing you use the coaster editor. It bums me out a little every time you cut it haha. Thanks for the amazing videos!
You do such amazing sci-fi buildings, that look effortless, and take up minimal footprint.
Awesome!
I usually never comment on ANYTHING on YT but I recently subbed and wanted to say I appreciate your work and all the effort you put into this series. I love listening to you talk on and on about your thoughts on coasters, parks, architecture, inspiration, etc. (but take some breaks if your throat is hurting! haha) You have a very soothing voice and a great personality! Much love from Oregon, USA.
Hours on end of talking is fine in my book, it is interesting listening to how you plan things and your inspiration as well as your rambling
Hey! I've been watching your videos for more than five years (actually since you uploaded a rct3 POV with Pegboard Nerds music on it, and from there I continued so on), and it's stunning how much you've improved from rct3 to planet coaster or even parkitect. I think you are probably the only youtube channel from those days that I still wait for a new video and watch it the same day you released it. Congrats from Spain!
You are one of my all time favorite UA-camrs, and I almost always watch the whole video. You don't post that often (which is absolutely fair), but when you do, it is SO worth the wait. Keep it up! I love your content!
33:43 Yes! I also remember building fly-to-lie elements using overbanked turns in RCT3, I felt like a coaster designer coming up with unseen ideas! It does look great (like your whole park btw, you nailed the theming and colors!)
I liked when you talked about your RCT3 coasters and creating a storyline and a unique name which is something I wished you did throughout these scenarios. Like you name the coasters and tie them together and come up with a story. The park here is lovely though and that flying coaster is crazy realistic and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that crooked overbank/ corkscrew element. I’ve always used that for the Vekoma Flying Dutchman model in RCT3 :)
yeeeeeeees early!
was desperate for another parkitect vid!
No need to apologize for the longer video. I personally prefer them. Good stuff.
Love the series, don't mind longer vids since the content is great. The voiceover adds a lot and makes it even more relaxing to watch:)
Fountains are so nice! I don't know if you meant me by that, but that was also in RoboPark and very similar, which I posted on discord. In Parkitect is my Nickname tristar. At least I was really happy that you mentioned something like that. Here a Screenshot: imgur.com/a/ssZ1K2Y I think I had easier to put them like that with Construction Anarchy Mod. I ve used a lot of Mods. And have to say Im impressed with your Park, your Ideas and Coasters are so good, especially with the Tower, that I think I almost like your Robopark more. Apart from that, great content, great video. The hour went around like nothing, was very interesting. Thx dude
In response to your concern about taking too much, I really like when you talk about the history of various coasters and the companies that make them. As someone who knows very little about the subject, it is interesting.
Great stuff. Love the polar coaster, so unique.
Finally back with a perfect episode of Parkitect, love it🙌
I was proud of the Studio Cavy styled scifi architecture that he did in the final DLC map, and then I saw this. I swear, this game keeps getting better and better,.
Hell yah, more Silv Parkitect! Love this series.
Thanks for the video. I watched all of it. Since I am working remote , I welcome the long videos. Its a welcome distraction from reports and numbers!
I ALWAYS watch the whole vid. It’s so relaxing and inspiring.
I love this, its like watching a movie. I could watch these long episodes every day!!
I'm late but I do want to say about your commentary midway - I've watched every video in this series until the end. Longer is fine. I'll come back to it if it's too long for the time, but I'll still finish it eventually
Silv: I’ve researched some shops and I really need to build them and a new ride to make some money!
Also Silv: starts building a water feature, some pretty cool looking buildings without purpose, queue covers and planters... 🤣
Yesssss I love watching you play this game!!!
I love listening to you. I could listen to you until the sun rises in the morning
The PoleR Coaster was first supposed to be built in Orlando and everyone thought the project was dead, but apparently a couple months ago the FAA just gave clearing to built the coaster, so the project is surprisingly still live, just slow going.
A 1950’s Retro/Diner Theme would be awesome on this!
I like the futuristic XXXL version of those old Chance Toboggan tower spiral rides.
Rotting Heights was my favourite scenario from the original game. Quite enjoyed repairing and trying to rebuild all the old coasters.
Love how some of these buildings have the same vibe as pokemon centers lol
Hé, ik vind deze serie erg leuk en heb lang gewacht op een nieuwe aflevering ik wou gewoon even zeggen dat het mij niet uitmaakt hoe lang de video is, blijf zo doorgaan!
(Hi, i really enjoy this series and i have waited for the next episode, i just wanted to say i dont care how long the videos are i will watch them anyway, keep up the good job!)
It's not a modern coaster but the Thunderbolt in Kennywood Park was altered to extend it's track. The coaster was opened in 1924 as the Pippen and then was closed for renovations and extentions in the 60's it opened in 1968 as the Thunderbolt and still stands today. It's one of my favorite wooden coasters ever.
I think a good way to describe that style of architecture that feels like the future but also the past is the future as imagined by the past. Like it's what the future was imagined as at some point.
This park is so beautiful!
Yesssssss! Finally! Oh my god it's been months, I was dying!
Love the longer video, glad you didn't split it up. I wouldn't be against parts of the video that are pure timelapse and just music so you don't have to stress your voice as much. Also, Yes. Tatsu is wonderful and intense in all the right ways.
I absolutely love the content, just because u wanted feedback: I think there is no shame in splitting up scenarios into multiple episodes
Yay, more Parkitect. Keep up the great videos.
I'm at 42:25 and I like you talking thru out the episode, so thank you! Haha 😊
Thank you :)
That is a GREAT park sir! I have watched MANY of your videos. You do a great job! One thing I have yet to see from you though… a well designed giga coaster.
Since you asked for feedback: pay attention to where guests board the ride in relation to your entrances and exits. The poor guests had to walk all the way around the top scan to get on and off, which isn’t very realistic and decreases the efficiency of the ride
Yay I love this series!
i feel like i have been waiting years for this!
im so glad this isnt canceled!!
Parkitect is back, and with an hour long video?! YES!!!
The retrofuturistic, Googie vibe is great. It's very reminiscent of classic Disney Tomorrowland. I personally find this style much more endearing than proper space-y futuristic builds.
My headcanon for the observation tower is that it was originally built for a World's Fair or something, but later had to be closed to the public for fire safety reasons. So the park decided to throw a coaster in it instead.
Every UA-camr: Sorry for the long video! Every commenter: I love the longer videos!
Damn I can never be this patient with parkitect. I build like one building facade and then just give up and start building boxes with roofs.
Studio Cavy is very intimidating. His robopark is absolutely insane.
This made me feel so inspired to build something in parkitect again!
I cant help but notice that on your transfer tracks, you built a track on both edges, making it so that the train can’t actually slide over. In the setup you have, there should only be one track, so that the track can slide all the way over to the storage track. If you’re going for the GCI setup, keeping both tracks, there should be enough room for both the tracks to slide and lock into the main course track. For example, if you have a two track transfer table, it should be 3 spaces wide.
Sorry for the nerd-out, great work as always!
Here we go! My kind fav game! Its fun to see!
Was so excited for this...might cry
If one day I own a Theme Park I would definitely call you to design the park! You are a true talent!
I prefer long videos. So happy to see a Parkitect video!
Silvarret Parkitect video = instant like
These Parkitect videos are my crack
Gotta say, the added trees and bushes in the DLC made it a day-one purchase for me and I don't regret it at all. With how they're all resizable and recolorable, I've found myself using a ton of them whenever I get the chance. You can make some pretty lush looking nature areas with them, especially when combined with the construction anarchy mod. I hope we get to see you using them eventually, I'm so curious how you'd make use of them!
Here's a screencap of one of the first things I did with them right when it launched: i.imgur.com/Bz2dRoY.png
Looks great! Is that the age-old trick of sinking trees in the ground I see?
Anyway, same, I can't wait to use them. Big props to maxfreak for the foliage.
@@Silvarret It sure is! Without construction anarchy, you're definitely a little more limited with how precisely you can sink them in, but some clever use of size variations can still give enough variety for it to look natural, especially when combined with color differences. Those cypress trees make absolutely fantastic bushes, and look great when put into planters made from shapes. I can't wait to mess with those shapes even more, they always felt a bit too restricted, but the new 45° ones fix that issue so well.
A new Parkitect video?! I must be dreaming!
Poler Coaster was planned for Orlando, it keeps popping up once a year as someone else decides to develop it, but never gets anywhere.
This kinda reminds me of your Elemental gardens in Planet Coaster. Might be the blues though.
I love this one. Every building is unique yet everything fits together perfectly. My only remark would be it's a bit too flat.
Also, the transfer track for the coasters wouldn't work 😅 The track can't move.
The perspective is perfect at 1:12:43 for the polarcoaster, the part on the left. It's like a DNA-string!
Anyways, really fun to watch.
I remember Protos, the picture you posted on The Creators' Lounge really made me rethink what was possible with RCT3.
Dunno if you're doing it or not, but something that helps me beat these scenarios in the timeframe is looking at what guests are thinking, if they say something's a good deal, that means you can raise the price Helps a lot with making money on rides. If I see long queue lines, I also raise the price because there's too much demand. I even had a gentle monorail coaster set at $14 (probably could've gone higher) because the queue kept filling up even in the rain.
Beautiful park.
Moooaaar parkitect! It's so good!
Thank you silv it has been too long since your last parkitect vid
The Poler Coaster concept always looks to me like a ridiculously cool Chance Industries Toboggan.
