I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
I like how all you incorporate different music from other games my favorite so far is when Vinny used the theme from dbz tenkaiechi 3 I like the music you used from master duel one of my favorite end of duel themes
yeah i was like wait a min didn't i just hear this. Had to rewind it to make sure i wasn't going crazy Wait do people still use the word rewind??? Am i aging myself here
Hm. Fun idea I could suggest. A "Then We Battle" where both sides pick a Pokemon but you swap their types. Say, Metagross and Charizard. Now Metagross is Fire/Flying and Charizard is Psychic/Steel
A fun twist might be this idea, but rather than a wheel, the person blind picking can also choose one typing for their opponent’s Pokémon and the other person gets to give it a second typing of their choice that’s only revealed in the battle.
"it's kinda like a zangoose" would have given it away for me if I were shady. They were the 2 heavy hitting single stage version exclusives for Ruby and Sapphire so I always link those 2 together. It was a smooth hint
Toxtricity does get the move 'Hex' as a TM, so Shady could have run it with either Toxic Spikes or Thunder Wave since Hex is a move that doubles damage when the opponent has status.
Now this is a bit of a rough start, this little lad has a base stat total of 436 and becoming a water type is not good as he loses all stab moves so instead of trying to hit really hard we're just going to try to be a little cheeky and knock off some items, rapid spin somem, uh, hazards and then just parting shot to be able to heal up because I gave him the ability regenerator. I originally wanted to give him protean so he would get those stab moves but I feel like that kind of ruins the whole point of the video so I didn't want to do that and I went with regenerator instead. I did still give him aur- Now this is a bit of a rough start, this little lad has a base stat total of 436 and becoming a water type is not good as he loses all stab moves so instead of trying to hit really hard we're just going to try to be a little cheeky and knock off some items, rapid spin somem, uh, hazards and then just parting shot to be able to heal up because I gave him the ability regenerator. I had to rewind when Dylan started explaining his morpeko again because I thought I was having delusions as I am currently studying while watching this :')
Honestly would be cool to see a video like this but they always have to counter pick typings. Like if shady picks a pokemon and makes it fire flying, the other person has to make their pokemon a combination of water, rock, or electric. So you want to make a combination that has not a lot of weaknesses but also has to match up with the pokemon well. Like if you make your pokemon water and ground the opponent has to just use grass
info for dylan. Rising Voltage doesn't get the electric terrain bonus, it just get doubles. Say Thunderbolt, gets a 30% boost, with 90 basepower being 117 basepower while rising voltage gets a 100% boosz, with 70 basepower being 140 basepower.
Should be a 100% boost from doubling, a 30% boost for all electric moves on terrain, 30% special attack from hadron engine so it should be around 224-236BP, im pretty sure showdown accounts for the multipliers
@jaydog77 Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but the power boost of rising voltage does in fact, replace the standard 30% boost of the terrain as lomg as the target touches the ground. yes, hadron engines boost would still work, but not the terrain.
This is false lol 252 SpA Transistor Regieleki Rising Voltage (70 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable: 135-160 (34.2 - 40.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO 252 SpA Transistor Regieleki Rising Voltage (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable in Electric Terrain: 351-414 (89 - 105%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
Where are you getting this info? Nothing about rising voltage suggests it doesn’t get the usual 30% boost, and I can’t find any information online supporting your claim.

Here’s a video idea for you Shady. You each choose a starter at the same time and compare the BST, then between the 2, the pokemon with a higher BST gets a debuff and the lower BST gets a buff. So you have to choose if you take the legendary on your screen, or take something more mid to hopefully buff it up.
For those confused on how Venusaur got prankster, Riolu has it as its hidden ability, even though its evolution doesn’t. It’s an interesting situation, but still a viable grab
I like the thumbnail, reminds me of the hope that I had we would've gotten a Paldean flamenco dancer Gardevoir and Gallade, Fire/Fairy and Fire/Fighting. 9:35 I like how Toxtricity is just giving Shady the side eye look, like he's annoyed with the type change lol 27:15 Yeah I don't know why the pikachu clones have to be so terrible, at least Pawmot has some potential since Pawmi evolves and gets stronger. 14:05 My guess is because of damage variables, something I learned from watching Jaidenanimations Ruby nuzlocke video. I think it's stupid they added a variable to damage calculations. Like random crits weren't bad enough. 45:15 Cause Hisuian Goodra is meant to be defensive not offensive. Aw man you just put Gardevoir on the thumbnail and wasn't in the video. Lame, should've just put Sandshrew on the thumbnail at that point to avoid pandering.
It would be fun that the ability that you can get has to come from pokemon with the exactly the same type (got mono bug? Can only get frommono bug pokemon. Got steel/flying? can only get from steel/flying pokemon. Got a type combination that doesn´t exists? Well, no ability for that pokemon)
This gave me idea: You can choose for your starters any types you want, BUT your opponent will decide which of starter you get knowing ONLY these types.

Idea: Pick a random type and keep rolling random starters until you can get a full team of only that type, the more time it takes to complete the team the more bad stuff happens to you
Neat interaction for future contrary mons with tera blast: tera stellar tera blast will actually INCREASE the attack and special attack by 1 with every hit!
fun fact: ground and fighting tie in their super-effectives they also tie with freeze dry specifically (ice) they are all tied for first also, H. Goodra Normal could've had huge power from Azurill
Ok INSANE IDEA have fun making a title lol You gather the teams from older Then we fight videos and put them on a wheel you spin the wheel 6 times and you make a pokemon fusion out of all 6 pokemon from each team using all 6 of the pokemon you get access on each pokemon to the best stats of all 6 mons for the fusion, the best ability, and the best moves! Man i guess i really love morpeko
Dylan loved morpeko so much he had to talk about him twice lmao
I thought I was trippin wtf
@@zionlee1004 thought i had a stroke
Dylan really wanting us to know about morpeko😂
Anyone thought they had a stroke or something when Dillon was talking about morpeko?😂😂😂
WHO? Dillon? 😂
@ yea I realized his name was spelled the other way after the fact lol
yeah i was like wait a min didn't i just hear this. Had to rewind it to make sure i wasn't going crazy
Wait do people still use the word rewind??? Am i aging myself here
Yeah
Nah we're just all a little crazy
That double morpeko explanation. Makes sense for the bipolar little lad
Tracks
Lmao the way Dylan called out Shady's bleeped mon and then shady tried to play it off 😂
Hm. Fun idea I could suggest. A "Then We Battle" where both sides pick a Pokemon but you swap their types.

Gotta snake the turn arounds but that would be fun

Shady, shady are you listening? This is a bright idea, i like it, please consider.

It's true what they say, every day is a school day, I learned something new today, thank you. I didnt know toxtricity could learn hex.
@ To be fair I didn’t know either, so you do learn something new like how Rampardos can be a beast in battle given the right equipment

"Stick around and see what I mean"
*cut to*
"Help me" HAHAHAHA that was perfect!
4:54 bruhhhh wtf happened 😂
I came to comment and saw you beat me to it 😂
“I did still give him oral-“
5:22 it almost sounded like the clip was gonna repeat again
Shady putting his grandma on blast at 16 minutes
I had to rewind when Dylan started explaining his morpeko again because I thought I was having delusions as I am currently studying while watching this :')
Shady trying to trick Dylan into letting him have a Venasaur with Aura Sphere. lol.
"Ground/Ghost that's a Runerigus or Golurk!" Every Palossand out there: 😢
Runerigus should have been Rock type anyway. Literally a stone slab
Honestly would be cool to see a video like this but they always have to counter pick typings. Water Morepeko is one occasion where Huge/Pure Power (from Azumaril) would simultaneously be really good and not cringe.

This is just factually wrong

4:30 ish, repeated clip
Don't forget spoiled intro
More weaknesses than my grandma on a Wednesday afternoon??? what 16:18 🤣
Can you please add the new typings on the pokemon preview? We can see the tera but not the typing so it's confusing :S
Dylan threw out the best subtle dad joke right at the end and I love it.
Shady - "Yea I mean I think at the end of the day..."
Dylan - " Its night" 😂
Shady uses that joke a lot. In one of the dads being dudes videos he used it probably 5 times.

21:24 my boy haxorus (my favorite Pokémon who does not get used enough) is finally getting a battle
Seeing Warwick twitch out in the corner of Shady's camera freaked me out for a second
I can't wait to see how Luxray can cook with a new typing. *sees it's rock ice* Oh good lord... nevermind.
I love how the Italian mobster comes out of Shady every time with the "you dirty rat!" 😂
Anyone else trip when Dylan was explaining his Morpeko moves and ability 😂 you had one job editor 😂
Dylan REALLY wanted us to know about Morpeko 🤣😂
Here’s a video idea for you Shady. You each choose a starter at the same time and compare the BST, then between the 2, the pokemon with a higher BST gets a debuff and the lower BST gets a buff. 16:22 What's wrong with Shady Granny on Wednesday?😢
Specially on the afternoon
Dang he's really talking about morpeko
@shadypenguinn Dylan's recap, at least the first one, is in the video twice.
For those confused on how Venusaur got prankster, Riolu has it as its hidden ability, even though its evolution doesn’t. It’s an interesting situation, but still a viable grab
dylan with the good old choice specs stealth rocks
The Master Duel music during the battle had me tripping thinking I had the game open in the background 😂
I've heard that OST one too many times, but hearing it on a pokemon game just shows how hard it goes :D
Man that Morpeko intro had me rewinding like good blockbuster customer trying to figure out if I was going crazy lmao
Zekrom being dragon/electric "Miraidon you took everything from me."
I like the thumbnail, reminds me of the hope that I had we would've gotten a Paldean flamenco dancer Gardevoir and Gallade, Fire/Fairy and Fire/Fighting.
9:35 I like how Toxtricity is just giving Shady the side eye look, like he's annoyed with the type change lol
27:15 Yeah I don't know why the pikachu clones have to be so terrible, at least Pawmot has some potential since Pawmi evolves and gets stronger.
14:05 My guess is because of damage variables, something I learned from watching Jaidenanimations Ruby nuzlocke video. I think it's stupid they added a variable to damage calculations. Like random crits weren't bad enough.

Aw man you just put Gardevoir on the thumbnail and wasn't in the video. Lame, should've just put Sandshrew on the thumbnail at that point to avoid pandering.
Dylan saying Venusaur out of nowhere was CRAZY??
It wasn't out of nowhere. You can literally read shadys lips. It wasn't hidden.
Toxtricity ending up as a ghost type is kind of poetic in a way since it is the ace Pokémon of Ryme (the ghost gym in Paldea)
Kinda expected Shady to pull Levitate from Weezing as the Poison Type Ability for the Haxorus, would have given it absolutely no weaknesses
Dylan being one to forget that protean is only one use this gen in his cooking 😂
I love WITH FACTOR AD!
12:37 this sentence sounds like a rap verse, Shady spitting bars
The way Dylan made the sacrifice with Morpeko to keep the integrity of the video intact is a legendary move. Respect.
Shady gets so lucky in these Random starters choices and the game makes up for it by giving him the worst odds ever
Thiccums is the most classic shady nickname
Shady felt bad and let him win the second one
Dylan talked about Morpeko longer than Morpeko was in any battle.
I think a buff/debuff would’ve been cool for landing on the same type on the wheel as the mom’s type your changing.
14:18 BRO LMAOO
Unironically Big Root would've gone hard on Venusaur
24:33 all you’re missing is Tera Electric
I love anytime Dylan pronounces the pulse moves “pultz” like dark pultz and dragon pultz
Is Sandslash actually a hedgehog I thought it would continue to be a shrew after evolving from Sand-SHREW. ???
Rampardos does get fire punch, but Dylan might legitimately not get any other fire coverage
4:46 “I did still give him OREL”
Dylan clearly is hinting at a Morpeko to the top video coming soon with the double take on the set. Look forward to the showdown breakdown
Shady’s been spoiling us with all this content recently! You’re the best!
Rampardos ACTUALLY got to do something! For once!
Bro Toxtricity can get Hex and Shadow Claw! Why not go Toxic and Hex or Thunder Wave and Hex?! That would have been insane!
GG Shady for 700K subscibers the goal is already achieved
Venusaur callout is hilarious
Ahhhhh this is the correct Dylan recap video! 🤣🤣
14:41 Just noticed it’s one of my favorite Pokémon typing. It’s Aroura’s evolution line.
Properly butchered that name
This gave me idea: You can choose for your starters any types you want, BUT your opponent will decide which of starter you get knowing ONLY these types.
Dylan so cute trying to say 'plethora'
IDEA: Randomized Pokemon Based on Your Opponent choosing where the Pokemon should be found in a specified Region for video.
Eg. Region: Kanto....3 Pokemon on the screen.....Pokemon 1 may be found on Mount Moon (Roaring Moon) etc
Tom Shady with the elite throws lol
23:23 could have given it levitate because weezing gets that
Idea: Pick a random type and keep rolling random starters until you can get a full team of only that type, the more time it takes to complete the team the more bad stuff happens to you
Yes! Another Father and son video!
i thought i was going crazy when Dylan repeated his spiel about the setup of Morpeko 😂
No one's talking about how Shady put Tough Claws on Luxray, then gave it only biting moves 😂😂
Biting moves make contact so it works at least hahaha
I had to rethink live decisions upon learning that Spinda has contrary
Neat interaction for future contrary mons with tera blast: tera stellar tera blast will actually INCREASE the attack and special attack by 1 with every hit!
fun fact: ground and fighting tie in their super-effectives
they also tie with freeze dry specifically (ice)
they are all tied for first
also, H. Goodra Normal could've had huge power from Azurill
Dylan explaining morpeko twice just for it to go down in two.
Triage spectrier would be awesome!
and a nasty plot instead of shadow ball could make it better
Video almost sent me into spiral when I heard Dylan explain Morpeko twice. Actually 3 different times to confirm I was not tweaking😂
Shady is the throw king I swear
the way i was baffled when Dylan only said half of “Aura Wheel” 🤯
The pronunciation of plethora by Dylan was crazy
Yep lmao
Sounded like he was saying the name of a pokemon
I love being in Shady's beta crew.
I will always love Sandslash. First Pokemon I ever trained to level 100 in Yellow version.
dang i wish he put levitate on haxorus with poison from weezing
That thumbnail though. How did you make Gardevoir even less safe from the internet
Video idea: A wheel selects the gimmick Pokemon. Put gimmick Pokemon on a wheel, make a team of 6 each, and see who can out gimmick the other!
Ok INSANE IDEA
have fun making a title lol
You gather the teams from older Then we fight videos and put them on a wheel you spin the wheel 6 times and you make a pokemon fusion out of all 6 pokemon from each team using all 6 of the pokemon you get access on each pokemon to the best stats of all 6 mons for the fusion, the best ability, and the best moves!
Every single pokemon will be absolutely busted
Thiccums a throwback
4:48 Entered the matrix
Toxtricity learns Hex. Ghost type Toxtricity with nuzzle or Toxic Spikes would pair well with it.
29:06 may have went down but he put in work
Wednesday? Afternoon. It was fun while it lasted Thursday
