You're a great woman, keep up your good works, I'm 55yrs old $19,000 weekly and I'm retired, your videos have inspired me greatly in many ways that I remember my past of how I struggled with many things in life to be where I'm today!!❤
Good news! Today I started a QAYG 2.5" hexagon quilt, Just cutting a pile of batting pieces so far. I have lovely Japanese colors and I plan to embroider ginko biloba leaves on some of the hexies. I have plenty of floss since I am always embroidering something or other. I want sashiko too, but no exact plan yet. I have a book to get me started. Yay! Winter is lovely for hand sewing. I just finished a pretty cross stitch moon over a flooring tree over pond. Now it needs framed. I think I will do it in a soft Japanese hanging quilt style n a wood dowel. As soon as I pick the fabric. With a bit of embroidery too.
Wow, the roof looks great. I can’t believe how nicely that filled in over such a short time. I cannot wait to see the bulbs come up! I was thinking the roof is like a natural, organic quilt of its own. Just lovely! ❤
I'm surprised Ant let you stay up the ladder as long as he did. He worries about you when you are on a ladder. My husband does the same and yet he is the one that took a tumble in all these years. LOL
Another delightful notification from you, Ant, is a treasure the respect and care he shows you is so lovely. You just draw amazing people to you because you are also amazing, your roof top garden is going to be so beautiful, cant wait to see it.
The cabin and pond will be so cheerfully dressed for spring ! Ant did a wonderful job with the new steps for the treehouse . Thank you for including us in your garden today! ❤xx Marilyn
Always a pleasant surprise when you pop in. Spring will be such a wonderland, especially for your grandchildren. But we must rest in the winter first. Like the bulbs. Rest well, Kate.
Love the idea of a book, as your daughter Kate is so wonderful with her art work, and Anna is the same with her photography, and gir Rita is great with computer things, and you are so good with words, so it could be a mixture of all those things! Blessings from a snowy West Devon, England, and Jilly & Madge. xxx
Shall we all tell our goose-poop stories? We love the Canadian geese that come roost in our urban park every year ... from a distance. And you don't let your toddler onto that green for at least a month after they've gone.
Muscari (Grape Hyacinths) are one of my favourite spring blooms which are so generous with their seeds. A couple of months age DH and I planted clumps of the dark blue variety with snowdrops under all our trees. We've "netted" these in order to stop pheasants and rabbits from digging them all out. Looking forward to seeing your roof in the spring, Kate. Ant is a diamond 💖 🙂
Kate, we can all look forward to Spring now to see your bulbs bloom! It is going to be beautiful!! That roof garden is such a unique idea for your sweet cabin! Ant is such a good friend! I love following his adventures, too! His “pet” hedgehog is so cute! As always, thank you for sharing! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
I’m so excited to see them in the Spring. They will surely be a beautiful color spot to look up and see. Rooftop gardening is such a creative idea 🌷🎋🌼🌸🪻🌺💐😊💯✅
It's going to be a joy to see the colourful bulbs in Spring. Thank you Kate and Ant for showing the roof and all it's greenery. In my garden I noticed daffodil leaves are showing already. 🏡
Oh, the roof looks fantastic, and I can just imagine how excited you both are to see the bulbs flower in the spring! I know that I am! Can’t wait to see what’s coming to the garden next!
It sounded to me like Kate really put extra care as per usual about the spaces and care taking of all her charges…plants, ponds, people, fowl, living spaces etc…I’m sure Eileen is very happy indeed.
Hello you two😊😊That roof will be absolutely beautiful this spring with those little bulbs. I love tiny grape hyacinths and Crocuses. Not sure what the other bulb is that you mentioned. Be careful on the ladders. ❤❤
Hi Kate, hi Ant, I can't wait to see all the lovely flowers in Spring. We'll just have to be patient for a while... Nice job you both did, it's going to be a joy I think. And yes, I've seen Ant making your new steps for the tree house. Good sturdy steps, and just in time because every time I saw you get up the old ladder, I was a little worried for you Kate. Now.... no more worries. Awsome garden. But first Winter, first snow predicted for this weekend here in Holland....brrr Greetings and stay safe....👍💕
I started every new garden with bulbs until I moved to the high desert. 10 years later no bulbs 😢. My iris are doing okay. Iris corms dry to a wonderful set used in perfume making, so it takes years. I have a quart dryng, and a special container of oak lichen used in French perfume, it has to be collected after windstorms drop pieces to the ground. Smells like Samsara by Guerlaine. My hobbies are very slow.
Hello Kate, it will be great to see the spring bulbs blooming from the green roof and around the pond. Great idea! I enjoy watching Ants County Life, as well as your channels. Take care Kate. ❤
love your show.... today i watched as though watching a horror show, between the fingers waiting for the scream as one of you pitched off the roof. I thoughts of the kids wishing mom would not do certain things to endanger herself. Then Ms. Brown show crossed my mind where she was trying to put up the solar panels and could not keep her footing. You and Ant are wonderful, Thank you! From Alabama.
What a fun project! I love spring flowers, so much!! I didn’t know fritillaries came in a small variety, though. I had a beautiful one in a former house that stood at least 3 feet tall. It was so amazing. Thank you for bringing back that memory. Can’t wait to see how yours turn out next spring ❤
I love watching you and your hired man do all the things for your cabin i cant wait until spring to see all the beautiful flowers 😊 thanks for sharing your wonderful life

Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.
Sounds familiar. I have heard her name on several occasions and read about her success stories in wall street journal!

I feel so sad for Eileen 😢 she loved the pond • it was always so nice to see her at the pond 😢
but can you imagine dodging the goose poop all over the walkway...I'm sure Kate was kind enough not to show us that !
It sounded to me like Kate really put extra care as per usual about the spaces and care taking of all her charges…plants, ponds, people, fowl, living spaces etc…I’m sure Eileen is very happy indeed.
