If you hook an old mud flap to the hay tractor in the middle it will flatten the mounds of hay out so the baler doesn’t take on the big wads just a thought
FYI on toilets. The public knows about the bottom wax ring. They don't know about the other one. There is a rubber seal between the water bowl and the toilet seat itself. If not put together correctly and tighten. It will leak as well. Two screws hold them together and must be tightened evenly.
First of All - great show! A plead for us non Americans - when you tell us temperatures I would like you to put them onscreen in both Fahrenheit and Celsius
Those drone shots of your uncle raking are really nice. It’s neat to see what the process looks like from the air (for us non-farmers)! Good luck with the remodeling.
Cole you know that stuff is everywhere on the farm and it doesn’t take long for it to find its way to wherever you might be standing or driving . Do you know that stuffs everywhere on the farm and it happens regularly?😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for another great video Cole. I think we all are putting up with heat. We have been on the 90’s but now has dropped consistently. Seems haying is always hot weather. You did good finishing up the baling. No breakdowns except for putting in a new net rap roll. Believe you said another 65 bales today for a total of around 165. Good going Cole. New knifes in the cutter and ready for tomorrow. Go get em tomorrow. About it I guess. Thanks for everything Cole. The Iowa Farm Boy.
Great drone work Cole! You are very good at creating content! I just watched the Milllenial, and while I enjoy watching him, you and your Dad are the ones who I enjoy the most and look forward to the next post.
@@beckyumphrey2626 I don’t know if they lost interest but because they are only crop farmers they don’t have as much contact to show maybe over the summer while they’re not harvesting crops or putting crops in the ground, being for Minnesota I watch millennial and Larson’s also but I do enjoy Sonne Farms the best. We even stopped by storla station and brought them some 5 gallon buckets to use on the farm.
Drove by the farm last week on the trip from PA to Wyoming. Was great to be in the area where you guys really do this. Unfortunately, Storla was closed due to labor day. Appreciate all you guys do to keep all of us fed.
I had a toilet issue and it was one of the three mounting bolts in the bottom of the tank. The bolt that is right on the curved edge where the back side goes up from the floor of the tank. I replaced the bolt w/aftermarket bolt and thick rubber washer. NO more leaks. Wet floor at base from rear forward.
Does my heart good for you guys to see those bales kicked out. Grateful for every one you didn’t have to purchase. We were lucky with small showers for a few weeks there but that stopped quickly. Our county fair starts in a couple of weeks I believe. It usually cools off drastically and fair nights are nice. My husband prides himself in having a lush green yard but not this year. It’s green but just barely. All is can hope is winterizer and pre-emergent gives us a retry next year. He says one more bad year and he’s going gravel and cactus!😮😂🤪. Now we’re going from El Nina to an El Niño fall and winter. The extended forecast for then shows the giant Welcome to Texas sign with heavy ice sickles all over it!! Not a good sign. As flat as we are a 10mph wind feels like you’re running naked wet and most Texans don’t own heavy coats!!🤣🤪
Colt, you and your Dad and uncle are my kinda UA-camrs. Your not pretentious as so many are especially after they've built their channel to money making shows. Keep it up please.
Had the same issue with my toilet as you; I even bought the toilet from Menards and it was a hairline crack where the toilet seat bolts on. They swapped it out and the new one is going on five years with zero issues. Thanks for the great videos.
Cole you said Wax Ring... oh my golly gosh, is Merica left in a time warp, wax rings are so old school. I see how the construction industry does things in the US and it blows my mind. Good old Australia needs to push our building codes into the US. Our systems are so modern and quality is exceptional. Like you said though, I would be thinking either cistern has a crack, or the base has a crack somewhere. Hope it all gets sorted, best wishes from Newcastle, Australia 🇦🇺 🇺🇲
Had the same toilet leaking problem. Turns out that once the toilet was wet it wouldn’t seal to the wax ring. Drying the toilet outlet area solved the problem
Sorry to hear about the leaking toilet problem. I had the same issue a few years back when replacing an older toilet with a model I liked from Am. Standard. I had to have the plumber back with the leak and we finally located really small cracks in the bowl. I returned it and determined that the new toilet had to me sealed. I coated it (and another one later for a different bathroom) with epoxy and didn't have any leaks. Should not have to do this but it beats a persistent slow leaker wreaking your floor.
We had a 567 and always without fail had to apply talc on top of a new roll of net wrap in the baler. Glad to see you guys don’t have to Jack with that.
Cole, can you quantify how much time the bale accumulator is saving by being able to drop the bales in line vs. having them scattered? I can only assume that it would be hard to go without it now. Solid work! Keep on keepin on! 👍🏻
Cole, we stopped using wax rings years ago. They have better ones made of soft rubber that stay flexible and sealed through hot and cold weather. They last a long time and if you do need to pull the toilet off the floor you dont need to clean off the old nasty wax to make a good seal. And it dosent matter if the bottom of the bowl is wet or dry. If its a toilet with a separate tank, check the seal between the tank and bowl and make sure the brass hardware isnt so tight it cracked something. And finally, turn on the light during those midnight trips. Somebody might be missing and i dont think its the missus.
🏡 Hi Cole and Brian and Jeff and family. You're doing great on the hay ☺️ yes I understand you guys are ready to do bathroom 🪥 it's nice to know that you're remodeling everything is working out great you didn't put a fireplace in your living room just in case the power goes off you guys right ✅🌈☀️🐂🐂🐂🚜🚜🚛🚛 and 🌈🌟Storla Station ⛽🧢👕✨🍦🍦🥤🥤 Great video ✌️☮️♥️♥️💌
We had cool weather move-in yesterday Northeast Missouri. Very nice! And price of hay seems to be coming down a little bit. Less than $100 for big bales without having any Nutritional test done
The new ones not only have that but they have scales can also tell you what the yield is on each hey Kir. Just a lot of money or More bells and whistles.

Great seeing you make 135 bails and Deere only let you take a half new bailer out for a quick trip around the block. But only let you use it for halfway 😂
Years ago I had the very same thing. Same # of attempts. Found that it ONLY leaked when it was flushed. About halfway up the backside of the bowl (dead center) was a tiny pinhole in the ceramic coating. Only squirted out when it flushed. Wasnt the seal at all! I put some super glue on that tiny little dot, (hardly noticeable) and walla!!! Fixed.
Had the same thing. Toilet had a factory defect in the trap. Small pin size hole. Almost drove me crazy. Took the toilet out, sat it on a stand, put water in the trap and low and behold. Drip, drip, drip. Put some ring wax over it and it is still dry to this day. Been six years.
Glad u are getting a 3rd cutting for the year
Mystery pooh and sweaty hay chaffy arms? Pool time! We won't tell Tiffany.
thank you
when you had the camera mounted on the accumulator and dumped the bale, I actually turned my head to the side keeping my pov level 🤣🤣🤣
Uncle Jeff makes that John Deere tractor cab look mighty small.
Lol
Hey thats some mighty fine hay!!
That was a good one. Cole caught me a couple of minutes z time. No reflection on you.

awsome video cole thumbs up and shared
I drive all over the country. I haven't seen them all, but I've seen a bunch, and y'all, by far have the best looking herd of cattle.
Definitely like the new camera and music with drone. Nice job. Appreciate that.

only 2 minutes in, already starting off with some awesome drone footage

Love the drone shots. Gives perspective about the size of your farm. Beautiful!
So awesome you are getting some hay. Still praying for rain and cooler weather. Great video. God Bless.
Just stopped by to see if anyone said the toilet sweats...
Glad to see your getting a better harvest from the crops.
Hope the corn is successful 🙏

Love how you get your equipment going strong.
Hi uncle Jeff hope all is well we don’t get to see him often he cool people 👍
Storla Station stuff. Has a nice ring to it. I hope Brian's all rested up cuz Cole is gonna put him to work!
All about that first bale...🎶 She's a beauty. She's one in a million bales. One in a million bales.🎶
It's just hot humid air, after a couple of flushes the bowl gets cold enough for water to condense, drip and make a puddle on the floor
In North Dakota lots of bails everywhere round and square
Thanks for another great video Cole.

Cole, Our hay dries out more after windrowing. This fluffs & "opens" the hay after cutting & leaving in tight rows. Air drying! Gotta' love farming!

Good to know!
Here in eastern IA. today it's 72, cloudy and wind. Dang near jacket weather. Last Wed. heat index was 124!
Love the drone shots
Thank you for the good video. Hope all goes well with the next cutting.
Cole, hot humid weather plus cold well water results in condensation on the outside of your toilet tank which drips onto the floor, possibly.
Love all your videos
Check the seal between the tank and base of your camode. I enjoy your channel
do the cattle mind when you swim in their pond?

what do you use instead of a wax ring?
Awesome video!
131 bales is pretty good. Always appreciate your cattle and haying content. Take Care and Be safe working on the farm. Out
I bailed today with my 567 mega wide in SW Missouri it has bailed close to 5000 bails in its lifetime !
Beautiful video! Thank you!!!
Good video Cole and Jeff cool drone footage yal stay safe !
Cole you could build a really cool fort from all the cardboard net wrap tubes.
I commend you for your excellent care of expensive machinery.
Great video 👍😁👍
Had the same toilet leaking problem. Turns out that once the toilet was wet it wouldn’t seal to the wax ring. Drying the toilet outlet area solved the problem
Our first fall bale is at 45% moisture and a 94 degree internal temp. It’s getting fed while we wait for the other windrows to further dry.

Check the tank gasket between the basin and the tank on your toilet. It can leak down and make you think the wax ring is bad.
"I don't even know where it's coming from... other than a cow's rear end. 🤣😂
Nice video.
The toilet leak, been plumbing 40 years. If it only leaks when flush, if not cracked porcelain, check doughnut between tank and bowl.

It would be a good idea for John Deere to install a moisture sensor inside the bailer.
Newer balers have a moisture sensor, like the one Cole demoed for a day a few videos back.

hopefully 1500+
