      DeAnn Blackmon I just did the same thing. I stopped being involved in social media because that was one of my reasons: needing to be on an input fast as well as output (to some degree).

    Damn, this woman is ME in another body!!!!! She has the same exact thoughts, questions, way of self-love, honesty, struggles and random confessions. Even her past is similar to mine! Wow! This one was so close to home!!!!

    Educating myself, and keeping my inspiration up, are so important to me. Your interviews are one of my go-tos as of late. While I cook... during home yoga practice lol... during exercise... when I'm resting. Just soaking up knowledge, and various perspectives. LOVE IT.

    Danielle! Thank you so much for saying change is complex and breakthroughs happen after a series of circumstances leading to a tipping point. This has been so true for my life! I've never heard any spiritual teacher/personal development speaker honestly state this important point. #spiritjunkie #whitehottruth

    Lewis, this is so where I am right now. Today I realized just how mean I am to myself. I need more self compassion and love! I so appreciate this video. She is alot like myself and there seems to be a shift where people want to go more inside and wonder. People want to disconnect and go inside. I think that is great. Thank you.

    She reminds me so much of myself... I'm a seeker to the core. I wanna know the ultimate truth that underlies all existence. I used to wish I could have a near-death experience that wouldn't leave me disfigured or traumatized, just really enlightened lol. But my life is pretty normal too... no lighting bolts or mountaintop moments... the process of waking up for me has been very gradual. It's more about letting go than striving after anything.

    • @lisadixon624
      @lisadixon624 6 років тому

      I didn't know others thought about what it would be like to have a near-death experience as well. Will I ever know that I don't have to have those extremes to feel peace & belonging 🙏

    Loved this show! First time I'm really connecting with Danielle Laporte, though I'm aware of her work. Really insightful commentary about the difference between meditation, contemplation - you’re actively thinking; you’re thinking through things, being considerate - and prayer, which is more of a conversation.

      Paul Rusinko agree with you on this

    • @tinam761
      @tinam761 7 років тому +4

      Paul Rusinko to me, she read real ... and offering up the grace that it's okay if you didn't (fill in the blank ...) everyday this week or last, though doing those things are important, they don't make the best or whole of who you are. No one is perfect and that's okay. Own the truth that you are who you are and that's okay. That's what I got ... there is a balance in self improvement.

    • @craigjones21
