I remember, the first automatic car I drove was the Mercedes W123 300D in 1989. I was used to a manual car. The moment I took the car and was driving, I stepped hard on the brake, thinking that it's the clutch. And I was rear ended by a truck. 😂😂😂 From then, I never used my left foot while driving an automatic !

I am driving manual since last 15 years but I lack of confidence in buying automatic car because I have fear of how to control car in high speed condition or whenever suddenly one is required to stop vehicle but after watching your video I think I can give a try. I feel it'll take me a week to learn it and get used to it. Yes it looks simple but practical use on different roads does have a whole different impact and experience.😭 because just like me 80% of people have learnt to drive a manual first and not an automatic, I'm really afraid of the handbrake thing which has transformed into a switch..its really a concept that doesn't give me that assurance of saftey.

Auto hold is helpful when ur uphill or down hill and can move ur leg from brake to accelerator without fear of vehicle to slide while moving ur leg. It stick where it is.

Mere hisaab se jo bhi 1st time Automatic Transmission ki Car khareede.. unko Next day kisi Khuli road ya Ground main jaake thodi practice karni chahiye.. kyunki left foot ko naa jaane kitne saalon ki aadat hogi use hone ki.. so dam sure ek naa ek baar to Left foot humse use ho jayega and wo seedha Brake hi marega wo hi clutch samjhke.. itne main hi Kaand ho jaayega. Isliye open ground main practice karne main atleast peeche se takkar ka koi chance naa hoga... coz ye koi fault nahin hoga.. puraani practice ko band karne main thoda to time lagega hi.. but is video se bbi bahut idea milega new automatic transmission users ko.

Friend Achi, this was required. The 1st Auto-matic car I had driven was a lengthy Chrysler Imperial but it was all buttons for N, D and R. In fact buttons for everything. Thanks for showing this.

Left foot app use kr sakte ho agar apne kabhi manual gadi kabhi nhi chalyai left leg use krna wese zyada assan kr deti he.
Maine car seekhi manual gearbox par. Aur seekhne ke baad purchase ki automatic car. Toh mere left leg ko koi aadat nahin padi thi clutch ki. Isliye main aasaani se right leg par accelerator aur left leg par brake rakh kar drive kar pata hoon ... 😊
Jin logon ko left leg par clutch ki aadat hoti hai toh unhein clutch ko zor se dabane ki aadat hoti hai. Aise logon ko accelerator aur brake right leg par hi rakhne chahiye. Ya dheere dheere left leg ko brake ki aadat daalni chahiye ... 😊

1. How to Pickup DCT on traffic slopes
2. How to drive DCT in bumper to bumper traffic - D to N or Keep it in D if it is less than 20-30 secs?
3. On slopes while parking P & Handbrake both to be used?
4. Normal Parking what is required only P or even handbrake is also required?
5. While car comes at halt is the idle practise to put from D to N, apply handbrake, then R To P?
6. Advisable to use Manual gear modes in downhill & uphill?
7. While driving at certain speed 50kmph i shifted into manual mode what will happen?
All Qs are Based on DCTs only.

I would like to see a video where we speak on 2 important aspects.
1. Ideally in traffic when we come to halt it is said for DCT we need to switch from D to N while on the other side we have ISG (idle stop & go) so which one is a preferred method or do we need to go for both?… a real confusion here!
2. On slopes in traffic how do we drive a DCT is it the same method D TO N every time you stop for few secs or we hold it on D as the latest technology by default cuts off engine/ clutch is disengaged while we brake?

Do you recommend that while on long waiting red lights we move the gear lever to neutral and activate auto hold?
You can keep it in drive mode and activate auto hold as well.

The biggest problem is ,I drive manual car with one hand on Gear and the other on steering 😂😂

I prefer manual. It makes us feel like we are driving. The feeling is different.

In neutral gear. Also to improve the life of transmission, when you are parking the car first put car in N then pull the hand brake or the parking brake and then put the gear in P. At signal or roundabouts Neutral is best option

सर आपके द्वारा दी गयी जानकारी बहुत बढ़िया है AMT कारों के बारे में, बस एक चीज और समझ दीजिये की सब लोग कहते है और आप भी की AMT ,iMT, CVT कोई भी कार अगर city एरिया में daily use के लिए चलाए तो बढ़िया है, city में 20, या 30 km के प्रयोग के लिए ही केवल AMT CVT, अगर बंदे को सप्ताह में एक बार या दो बार 200 या 250 km तक एक ही ट्रिप मे चलानी हो तो AMT cars usefull नही होगी क्या,,
बहुत से video में सब expert एहि बात कहते है कि city area, city use के लिए,,, सर अगर मात्र city use के 20 से 40 km के लिए AMT कार चले तो बेहतर है बंदा ऑटोमैटिक स्कूटर ले ले, plz dont mind, सुझाव दीजियेगा
1. Can we keep the auto hold always ON when in drive mode?
2. Does it cause any additional transmission heating or other issues?
3. If Auto Hold is ON and we move to Parking mode does the EPB engage automatically?

You're driving creta DCT automatic which comes with paddle shifter and the gearbox is fairly advanced than AMT. The DCT performed very well when I took it to steep hills. It intelligently holds the gear in uphill. So I don't face any problem.
