Just found your videos yesterday and have already learned so much. In many other artists’ videos you never get to see how much water the artist is using, how they lighten colors (swishing some paint off the brush was such a great and easy tip), the angles at which they hold the brush...none of that is ever explained! I never thought about how important it is to rest your arm on the paper to make sure your stem curve is steady or to angle the brush in the direction the leaf will terminate. Watching artists paint is interesting, but watching you is interesting and informative. You take the time to describe the right way to do things, and also to explain how beginners mess up. And all your tools are right there in front of us so we can not only watch what you do but hear the reasoning behind it! Thank you So Much, Jenna, for sharing your painting and teaching gifts!

Oh my goodness, I am so glad that I found your channel today, it just popped up! I have fallen in love with watercolor over the past couple of years and have only worked up the courage to let myself paint, over the past year. I wanted to push myself to do it in order to help work through my own fear of failure and tendencies of perfectionism. I want freedom but also needed a creative outlet that brings life to my soul. I have gravitated towards natural elements exactly what you are teaching on so far. Your tutorials are exactly what I needed to build skill and understanding of what I am trying to achieve. Which is great, because I have no idea what I am doing. You are equipping me with confidence and knowledge so that I can at least produce something which encourages me to continue learning. (I love creating and sending cards!) I am so grateful for what you are doing, thank you so much!!

I've enjoyed this more than I thought I would. This channel was recommended to me by a friend living in the Czech Republic. She sent me a handpainted card as I was recovering from a critical illness. (I live in the UK) It was so lovely and thoughtful that I framed it. I asked my friend if she could teach me how to do and she directed me here. I have zero to none artistic talent but Jenny is such a good teacher that I am revising my rating of my skills. Looking forward to learning more from Jenna.

Hi Jenna! I’ve watched this series several times now and it’s been very helpful. Thank you so much for posting great content with detailed descriptions and lots of encouragement. My favorite thing about your method of painting is that you work slowly. I’ve enjoyed watching hundreds of tutorials online and have learned oodles from watching how others paint, but I often find that my process of creating is more slow & methodical. That can be a bit of a clash with the natural flow of watercolor painting, but watching you has helped me see ways I can take my time while still being loose and flowy. This has had a dramatic impact (positive, of course!) on my painting in the short week since I started following you. I look forward to learning more from you! Thanks for sharing your passion. ❣️

Thank you so much, I learned a lot. Especially the angle of the brush to get the correct look. I learned how to do the lily leaf...that was a tricky one, but I got it. I just have to keep practicing my leaves . Then the roses. Thanks again.

I’m so thankful for these videos! I started your every day watercolour book in the fall, and now due to covid I have time to pick it back up - I love it so much, but I sometimes struggle understanding the instructions without a visual reference - this compliments your book so well!! You’re also adorable. I’m so so excited to wake up and paint tomorrow! Thank you!

Thank you thank you thank you 🙏 I had that “aha!” moment realizing exactly why I always end up with one or two wonky leaves in my paintings that ruin the whole composition for me. I’ve had your book on my wishlist for a while now and got so excited when I stumbled across your channel today. I love your work and can’t wait to learn more from you 💖

Well, this was very helpful! Thank you. I’m pretty new at painting and have watched numerous videos. I found yours to be the most helpful, to be honest. The specific instructions like the angle to hold your brush, following the curve of the stem, etc, speak to me in a way I can understand. Off I go to improve my leaves! ❤️

Jenna< I just discovered your channel and it is just what the Doctor ordered. You have a great way of teaching and for someone like me this is fantastic. I struggle with procrastination because of trying to "get it perfect" but you have pushed me over that hurdle with your detailed and "phsychological" method of stop trying so hard. I thank you deeply and wish you were here in Southwestern, Ontario, Canada so you could give lessons at the art centre. Yes, I have subscribed and will be searching for all of your videos online.
