Wow 🤩 I love 💕 these amazing interactive fun events having new experiences when going to these Theme parks which is great providing endless entertainment as there’s so much to explore with new attractions included food options as well, my favourite highlight was the heavily themed colourful mini carnival including how the main stage was coordinated with the rollercoaster roaring around the looping track that was a nice feature overall this was a very relaxing experience full of so much positivity wanting to dance along with the cabaret entertainment lol 😆 Thank you Shawn awesome vlog, oh your curly fries 🍟 looked so tasty 😋that cheeky duck 🦆 eyeing 👁 👁 up your fries 😆

I think the only ever time I will be able to meet you is if you come to crealy adventure park in Exeter where I used to work and is 30 mins away from me but I'd drive up there to meet you in the carpark before or after your visit,great vlog mardi gras,loving the singing and dancing and the colours,it's a pity you couldn't get on the back of the trike on the parade🤣,looks like you had a good day shawn,cheers 👍

Merlin theme parks the UK ones have some of the worst food in any themepark I've been to with the exception of the rollercoaster restaurant hopefully they fix this issue

Both events are very different which is great! It makes it all nice and fresh to enjoy!
video is great as always! But I think this event looks cheap. The same goes for "Carnival" at Heide Park in Germany (Merlin park).
I wonder if they've talked to the USA Theme/Amusement parks that have been doing this for decades?

I drive to the park however there’s a bus from the local train station!
I found all that rapping at the start extremely cringe. Can’t imagine it being like that in New Orleans 🤣 great vlog as always. Think I’ll be giving this a miss and stick to Alton Towers version tbh. Thorpe always does things on a budget and it looked like it again here!

I think thope parks version of the event might be a test to see what works better as chessingtons version is using alton towers way of doing it with stages around the park personally I like thope parks mardi gras parade and I guess they could have the stages around the park and the parade also I definitely agree the drummers should be with the parade!!

I like the idea of a parade.. but towers has the space, Thorpe kinda hasn’t 🤣 especially if the park was bussssyyyyyyy.
I find the fact that Thorpe are also doing a Mardi Gras a little odd. They have their own identity, so should try their own things.

I’m going to Thorpe park again in a few weeks and I have been on every coaster except stealth I really want to go on it but I’m scared so here’s a few questions I hope u might be able to answer.W hen u reach the top is there air time? When u go down vertical do u lean into your harness like on saw? And how fast the does launch feel?

Personally I think thrope should stop doing the summer events and put the money in to the basic like the theming, audio, and good food that doesn’t look like road kill

I appreciate your positivity Shawn, but it feels like it's been done on a really tight budget sadly. It's good but it could be great if Merlin just spent a bit more 👍

@@ThemeParkWorldwide Sorry Shawn I got it all wrong ,We went on Saturday and thought that the standard music would be replaced as the Mardi Gras was the main show piece ,We had a great day and my daughter went on all the main rides for the first time as before she was not tall enough to ride them ,No hesitation straight on stealth on the front, Not bad for 11 years old me thinks.😀

Although love you content, my god thats a poor mardi gras. Like a cheap tacky merlin idea poorly executed. Come on surely your not that easily pleased, im sure a american theme park would really goto town, with the prices merlin are charging we shoukd be expecting more in this country
