@@peanutfan22 Jump forward punch is basically the same concept as jump back punch but its actually a frame perfect execution to get them while not-blocking. However if you miss, they just block so its relatively safe. It's just a lot slower if you don't nail it perfectly (which is really hard). This can be done on JC as well (and Kano) if you feel you can pull it off. Note that when doing this against Raiden, he will still torpedo but you're gonna jump over the torpedo isntead of getting hit by it. So .. again, safe .. but even more slower because hes gonna end up on the other side of the screen.
Not really... there are a lot of MUGEN games out there though. I was closely looking at one, I think it was called Defenders of the Realm? ... I never got around to fully trying to speedrun it though.
It is a much more methodical run. A lot of the tricks are more precise and technical... and there are many varying strategies depending on the opponent and the opening ai patterns.
Jump forward punch against the 2nd Endurance changes everything wow. Definitely going to try this again
Not to mention the beautiful corner infinites LUL

Have you ever tried to run in a Mugen game? The cpu doesn't accept those kind of tricks in those mugen games

Mk1 is weird to do speedrun. I don't know why this game has a slower vibe compared to 2 and 3
