Hi, Ive just installed a his in my CLA your instructions were very helpful. I’m having issues with the sound though, an engine whining noise through the speakers which is slightly annoying. Is theee anything I can do to stop this?
Hi @SaabUnleashed, great channel - thanks for your videos and reviews - on the back of them I bought the Atoto F6 - great unit. Just bought a 2014 A Class and was looking to get this Mekede but their website says the unit is not compatible. I'm really confused as I thought the 2014 model was part of the 2012-18 spec so to speak. Do you by any chance know if it would work with my car or, any other similar units I could get as an alternative? Many thanks

@@rostyslavlysyi686 I had issues with the Linux Eonon when I reveiwed it. You're better off getting the Android one which also has CarPlay

Anyone have the link to this item, I have a 2014 180d will this be compatible with it or does anyone know what one I would need reasonably priced
Bought a similiar screen for my CLA NTG 5.0, everything works fine until now haven't fully tested everything yet. Once issue i found when hitting it on Reverse camera wouldnt switch to OEM. Needed to change protocol.
But now got a strange issue regarding the sound. Sound works fine, even with Carplay. But the moment i get a phone call or try to call someone, there is no sound. The person hears me, it picks the OEM microphone but no sound.
Any help? Perhaps somebody faced the same issue?

Can the GPS antenna and the wifi antenna be put in the A Pilar? Is there any inconvenient on putting there?
The only inconvenience would be your time and effort. I don't believe it would make any difference in quality of the connection.
