    Just got mine last week and I love it! When I got my 1st 5 string in '88 I strung it with a C string not knowing any better. Been doing it since. This Ibanez immediately felt like I had owned it for years it played so well. I did remove the ramp though as I am really aggressive with my right hand. They are really pretty also.

      Hello, could you please send me a picture/video of between the pickups without ramp?

    Really appreciate you not doing a review with a crappy metal song. Finally can hear what the bass sounds like

    That’s the setup I was looking for. I was wondering if you could use this tuning on all bass guitars. I mean if you change the settings.

    who is better between this or sterling stingray 35hh?

    is there any neck dive? I cant play anymore 35 inch scale or 34 cause wrist injury. 33 seems perfect to me i tried 35 and i cant. I have a little bit weird tuning its drop c, but with high c. So its C G C F Ais. So i am curious, do i need to put 130 gauge string there from 6 string set and tune it up higher and then get to rid of E and put A and so on. Or Can i go to drop C with regular like i will get rid of the B String and put E string there and downtune to C with 100 gauge enough? For sure i am counting with 100 on 33 inch scale with some floppines but i like it, but i dont want to lose great bass sound. And with first variant i will probably have to fill the nut cause of the b string. What variant its better and whats ur opinion

      Hey Yago, I don't know if you're still looking for this bass, but I'm in a similar situation as you. I''m starting to look for a 5 string with no neck dive because of shoulder and arm pain. I just tried this bass 2 hours ago. There's no neck dive! I was really surprised. And it feels very very good! I might sell my Carvin SB5000 to buy this (which is very sad because I LOVE the sound and feel of the Carvin. But the Carvin has a slight neck dive).

    looking to getting another 6 string bass looking at Ibanez BTB 846v or a Warwick rock bass corvette basic 6. looking for the bass that's more versatile to use in different genre of music also sound wise the one that's better to cut through the mix? what is your opinion thank you in advance

      @@bjamminsincebirth3494 yeah I did I went with the Ibanez BTB 846v Comparing the two both are excellent choices. What the biggest selling point for me was finding different pick-ups if I choose to switch them out. Which I plan on doing putting in some norsteads big singles. (I know most likely misspelled)/

    i am gonna buy this one in next 4 days, but i dont like those horns on btb where the screws are, is there any problem with that ? like if u are crazy muhc on the stage or smoething like that. I mean if it holds it place?

    • @OveBosch
      @OveBosch  5 років тому +1

      Hi Yago, thanks for watching the video. I never experienced or heard of any problems with the shape of the horn or the position of the screw. It will be cool.

      @@OveBosch Hi man no mistake amazing demo of this bass. I have this ordered. So Only thing , that i dont like is that horn shape of BTB basses, so i was little bit worried about position of the screwes which holds the strap, cause that upper one is like position down with the horn, so its look a little bit weird when u imagine putting strap on it.
