No. who the actual fuck loves being bad at something? With the exception of lazy people. no one does. I should be way better but im not and that really makes me angry & i also cant improve because of skill regression and sudden skill loss. You cant give me the excuse that i dont practice because I practice way more than everyone else, i improve for short periods but then my skill suddenly goes away & I’m back to being terrible again & thats not good enough to me. Over the 2 years I have become part of the "popular kids" friemd group at my high school and sometimes it's good, but it makes me worry about my image a lot more, and makes me feel like people are always judging me more than the probably are. Also, they definitly aren't the nicest or most considerate people out there My message: dont worry if you're not popular, you're not missing out on too much.
I have been facing this feeling for over 5 years now and I just cannot get it out of my head. It dominates over all my decisions. This along with low self esteem and no self confidence leads me to fail at anything I start as I constantly feel I am not good enough and won't be able to do it. I always feel everybody is better than me and I don't deserve to be among them. This has led to the decrease in my number of friends. I only have 5 friends. I always feel like people constantly judge me based on my marks, looks, and everything else and think I am an excellent loser and completely worthless. If anyone wants to give any suggestions then please do so.
I'm only good at caring for people and that is not going to help me in school/college so yeah. Education doesn't help people like us. All it does make us feel bad about ourselves and makes us feel worthless. School is worthless.

When she looked at a guy dancing she would go like "He is such a good dancer" and it would make me feel shitty. I dont want that - as I usually know my qualities and it would be fake for the partner to not acknowledge someone else for their skill in something. But somehow my partner seeing someone in something superior to me always bugged me.

I started Karate about a year ago now I've flown through the grades all of kf my instructor's are incredibly proud of me, they've even asked if I would like to take a class of my own in the future. Despite all these amazing things that are massive I always seem to beat myself up about everything unless it's perfect, for example last Thursday I was sparring with a guy my age and he landed a punch on me and after I got home I felt like a failure even though I'd gotten like 4 or five hits on him but just that one hit that I couldn't block it took me so very long to get over this feeling of not being good enough I always had to think to myself that he wasn't asked to be an instructor I was and that I didn't need to be the best to be good at something. Watching this really helps to properly get this into my mind.
Nope--don't fall into that envy trap. The world is rough and mean. As Jordan Peterson said, "the world is against you . . . obviously." But as I told my own subscribers, many times the greatest enemy in life can be yourself. And you make yourself an enemy by comparision to others. If you make 80K a year and have 200K in the investment arenas you will feel badly if you have a friend who makes 250K and has a million in his. But you will feel good about yourself if you compare yourself to someone who makes 30K and has nothing in his accounts. But maybe that 250K person works 80 hours a week and hasn't had a vacation in ten years. The point is, your journey is yours. How much you want to work and gain to get the greatest benefits you can from your short time on earth---and most of those benefits, my friends, are not financial. Hope this helps someone----Charles

In my martial arts school I have 2 friends and there skill are exceling (I'm happy for them) , recently I've been surprised about how much there fighting skill, and ju jitsu skills have improved by alot over the months since they started. Now it feels like there better than me because there able to attend more classes than me and learning materials that I'm missing out on because I have work 2 nights a week (Monday, Wednesday), last week I felt awkward when the instructor asked whos been in Wednesday class (me and another student didn't have our hand up) I never felt so sad and disappointed in myself that night. There will always be time where certain people perform better in certain areas, the key is to always remember that you still carry your own unique traits and your own personal approach to things that can propel you to the level of social status that you want. In my science class the teacher is literally insane, he posts assignment that doesn't even make sense to the topic, it's very very depressing when im seeing others figuring out the answer one by one, and i knew that i will never be the person able to figure it out, it feels worse especially when you see your crush is doing well on her own and doesn't need any of samuel in her life, i want to make myself something to her at least. but i'm nothing, it just feels unfair, why am i the one stupid, and why am i an ESL, and why am i the worst. i just cry to my family yesterday, crying about how stupid i am, crying about how much i can do better, crying about life, everything, they told me that it was fine, and my marks doesn't matter. he said he doesn't care about whether im in a university or not, as long as i tried my best, he will be the happiest man in the world, i gonna admit, it's warm.

In my martial arts school I have 2 friends and there skill are exceling (I'm happy for them) , recently I've been surprised about how much there fighting skill, and ju jitsu skills have improved by alot over the months since they started. Now it feels like there better than me because there able to attend more classes than me and learning materials that I'm missing out on because I have work 2 nights a week (Monday, Wednesday), last week I felt awkward when the instructor asked whos been in Wednesday class (me and another student didn't have our hand up) I never felt so sad and disappointed in myself that night. Now I feel like those 2 are the top students at martial arts because the attend more classes and are picking up skills faster and jealous of them. What do you recommend I do?

Story Time- I’ve done a lot of bad and stupid stuff in my past I regret, but there was a girl I always looked up to and she...betrayed me but I stayed friends with her.
