...that is the most extraordinary, original and individual format of an interview I've ever seen, I'm so impressed and gratefull for this journey you two have gifted us. Wonderful conversation, thank you thank you thank you! So much. Wow.
It's ironic that he says he now wants to play someone we're rooting for, but if I am being honest, I rooted for him as Billy Russo and General Kirigan, lol. He does bring a sense of humanity and hope for redemption to his villains. Great interview, lots of golden retriever energy from you guys. Sorry I am late to the party!
I think some people, not all, associate the portrayal of his characters to being parts of his personality. If you watch or listen interviews he has given he truly exudes positivity and optimism and kindness, the fact that he portrays them so well and explore all sides of the characters just shows how talented he is and how balanced he is as a human. I feel he is like a commentator of movies, which is something I can relate to. My friends hate me for that. All in all a wholesome interview that I enjoyed listening to
It was one of the most entertaining and positive interviews I've ever seen! Thank you so much! ❤ Any chance to see Ben's face when you tell him you didn't watch The Lion King? There were quite a few seconds of silence 😂
Ben and I have way more in common than I ever knew (thanks to this interview) but I disagree with him on one of his movie picks. And he's gonna have to ask me out on a date for me to tell him which one. 😊
What a BRILLIANT interview, Ben & Alex! Isn't it amazing how talking about movies can reveal so much about a person? I have to commend you, Ben, for your choices of "Sister Act II: Back in the Habit" (The renditions of "His Eye Is On the Sparrow" & "Ode to Joy" are fabulous) and John Williams' "Superman" theme (All of his work is quintessential movie music!) I shall have to try M&M's 8n my popcorn now. Have you ever tried Red Hots (the candy) in popcorn? Alex, I love your interviews, so I subscribed. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much ❤, very interesting and funny interview turned out, please make a video with Ben's face when he found out about The Lion King, at least on Instagram!
The movies you brought up are great. I love Sister Act 2. It is much better than the first movie, which is a rarity. It uplifts and inspires! It would be enjoyable to see you in a rom com similar to North and South (Elizabeth Gaskell, love the mix of progression in everyday life, romance, and working conditions), Pride and Prejudice (BBC), and Sandition.
I'm from Belgium and I'm a big fan of The Punisher, really amazing show! His song Rise up helped me through a dark time in my life. Wish I will be able to tell him someday. Thank you for your great and fun interview! 🎉😊
Lol Ben, you're welcome to whisper in my ear during a movie any time. But bougie reclining seats are definitely required; my local theater doesn't have them and I will drive 1.5 hours to a theater that has them, I'm that spoiled
All the love in the world, but do not break my heart. I'd prefer to see a Ben Batman over seeing a Ben Gambit. You see, Nick Bateman has already got an "unofficial", non-profit, Gambit thing on UA-cam that I saw first - a thing that I cannot unsee. It may only be 20 minutes long, but it commands my viewership loyalty. His look in it is amazing. His staff action in it is legitimate. His accent in it is divine. The attitude he delivers is on character. Nick is too perfect in it. If anyone is going to be Gambit now... for me... it has to be Nick. I don't even want to see anyone else attempt it, even if it is someone as charming and lovely as Ben. But hey! Do Batman! Heck to the yes, be Batman!
Love his sense of humor, 😄 I'm not a fan of the 1950s movies 🎥🍿 I did watch Some Like It Hot and it was entertaining better than Casablanca my opinion. I prefer Prince' s Bmovie Under The Cherry 🍒 Moon. Never seen Back To The Future will Ben Barnes comeover and watch it with me? 😊 Love this interview!
It would be ideal if it were subtitled there are many people who are deaf or don't know enough English to understand just by listening.
@@CinemaSurgery The “CC” in the caption is not exactly correct, that's why I asked for the caption for this interview with Ben Barnes I really like him and his interviews.

Ben should play himself in a rom-com because he is a dream of a guy.

This is totally the BEST interview with Ben Barnes EVER!!!!💜💜💜

Ohh finally! Definitely going to enjoy this. Ben is such an underrated actor, thank you! ❤
Good to see BB face, been a bit of time. Wonderful interview learning more of the personal side of BB.
This interview was fun! I really liked the format. Will definitely check out other 'A trip to the movies' interviews.

He is so different from any character he's ever acted.

You're absolutely correct. It's strange, because I turned on subtitles - like I did with the other videos. I'll look into it for you.
Should work now by pressing 'CC'
