This property has been terribly managed. A series of lackluster sequels which have got progressively worse, decades of inactivity in which nothing was produced and a dire remake which should never have been greenlit in the first place. Ghostbusters is an amazing concept, full of potential but the studio don't seem to have a clue what they're doing.

to be honest, the villain's he played aren't entirely unredeemable and even their "bad" actions is very easy to empathize with when taking into account the character's exposition. Like for example the The Darkling has a special place in our hearts especially in the show, cz a lot of the character's aspect is just hightened reality that a lot of us resonate with

I think this so called unfriendly relationship these two had is completely blown out of proportion. Yeah it makes for good conversation and interesting reading but aside from that I think it’s pointless. Even Shaw in some of the interviews mentioned Dreyfus in passing and none of it was bad. Same goes for Richard. He even said it’s not at all like people make it out to be.

Seems like the off screen dynamics worked perfectly for the movie, Quint & Hooper always at odds with each other while Brody struggled to keep the peace, contributing to the making of a film masterpiece

Ending the movie right when they go into the recording studio is a terrible idea. That’s going to piss off a ton of fans. unless you plan on making a damn sequel lol.

Just watched the movie. It was entertaining and terrible at the same time. No surprise this was the director.

I can understand why it is that Richard Dreyfuss would be so intimidated of Ian, especially since he looks so much like his father, Robert Shaw, in his role as Quint, with Moustache & Sideburns

Good Video. Ian look so much like his Dad, Robert, that I think that it would have thrown him (Richard Dreyfuss) for a loop. I think that Robert Shaw was A Character, however, I do think that he did know The Potential of Richard Dreyfuss & tried to get The Best Performance out of him. I also think that, if you had asked Roy Scheider, he'd have had expressed difficulty working with Robert Shaw. I'm thinking that the people who'd get along best with Robert Shaw, would've likely been his, I believe, drinking buddies of Peter O'Toole & Richard Harris
