    I tried making this it came very well and delicious instead of dipping chocolate. I used chocolate chips but they didn't melt. So, I just sprinkle some chocolate chips on the oreo cake pops. THANKYOU

      You are very welcome! Glad you enjoyed these Oreo cake pops :) Chocolate chips are harder to work with since they can scorch faster and are not as thin which makes it hard to use them to dip in the cake pops. Hope that helps clarify :)

    Can we add unsalted butter in place of creamcheese?,i do not have creamcheese available at this moment.

      Hi :) No unsalted butter won't work as a substitute for the cream cheese. The consistency will not be the same. I hope you will get a chance to make these Oreo cake pops soon :)

      @SimplyHomeCooked  3 роки тому

      I have never tried using butter instead of the cream cheese so I can't say how they would turn out. However, I wouldn't recommend that since butter has a different consistency at different temperatures. The flavor will also be much different. I hope you get a chance to make these Oreo cake pops :)

      Nope, Cake pops can be stored at room temperature since everything is baked. Think of it as a cookie.

      @@SimplyHomeCooked the cream cheese inside is not cooked

    • @SimplyHomeCooked
      @SimplyHomeCooked  4 роки тому

      Since it is such a small amount it shouldn't affect it. Think of a sugar cookie (loft house) frosting. It has butter and sometimes cream cheese as well but it is stored on the shelves and not the refrigerator. Ultimately you don't want to keep it out for long. They usually get eaten pretty quick :) Hope that helps clarify :)

    We made these but they didn't come out in nice balls they ended up being flat at the bottom. Do you have any recommendations on how to get them nice and round? Also were you supposed to dip when still cold from freezer?

      Hi Karina, I like to use a meatballs to get a perfect sphere shape sometimes. And yes, you want to dip them when they are still cold.

    • @SimplyHomeCooked
      @SimplyHomeCooked  3 роки тому

      Hi, technically you can. However, Oreos have frosting in them that help them hold together better and have that consistency. You would just have to adjust the quantity of frosting to get a similar consistency. Hope that helps and please let me know how it goes :)

    Just clarify u put them in fridge the first time then freezer second time? If so, will my chocolate crack due to cake pops being too cold when dipping?
    Thank u in advance! 🙂

    • @SimplyHomeCooked

      I actually freeze them both times. If you freeze them for 15 mins the first time and 5 minutes the second time, the candy melts should not crack :)

      Hi Brigitte, yes you can use a regular blender. It might take a little longer since blenders work better with liquids as food processors work better with dry ingredients. Hope they turn out perfectly :)

      Technically yes. You can place the Oreos in a zip loc bag and crush them with a rolling pin to really fine pieces. Then you can mix in the cream cheese with a spatula or clean hands. It will take a little longer though. Hope that helps :)

    Will oreo powder work okey?

    • @SimplyHomeCooked
      @SimplyHomeCooked  3 роки тому

      Hi :) I have never tried making these cake pops with just Oreo powder. It should work fine. However, you will have to adjust a few things. You will need more cream cheese since you don't have the oreo filling when you crush the oreos. It also may not be as sweet. So you may use some frosting and some cream cheese. You may have to adjust it as you go. Hope that helps! Let me know how it goes :)
