I absolutely love this recipe. I cut the recipe in half and make them for my grandbabies 💖 I use the Ghirardelli melts, they taste better and don't seem to be as thick 😊
Rachelle, I'm so glad you all enjoyed the recipe! Thank you for the feedback! If you can could you please leave this review on my blog, it would really help me out😊
I tried making this it came very well and delicious instead of dipping chocolate. I used chocolate chips but they didn't melt. So, I just sprinkle some chocolate chips on the oreo cake pops. THANKYOU
You are very welcome! Glad you enjoyed these Oreo cake pops :) Chocolate chips are harder to work with since they can scorch faster and are not as thin which makes it hard to use them to dip in the cake pops. Hope that helps clarify :)

Hi!!! Stay safe everyone And thank you for the demonstration!!
You can technically use white chocolate instead but be very careful with melting it in the microwave. It has a low burn point so it can scorch very easily.

I have not tried using that substitute for this recipe so I can't say how it will turn out. Technically you don't want to use cream cheese spread in place of the cream cheese in blocks. However, it isn't a large amount in this recipe. Again not sure how it would turn out. Hope that helps.

Hi :) No unsalted butter won't work as a substitute for the cream cheese. The consistency will not be the same. I hope you will get a chance to make these Oreo cake pops soon :)
I have never tried using butter instead of the cream cheese so I can't say how they would turn out. However, I wouldn't recommend that since butter has a different consistency at different temperatures. The flavor will also be much different. I hope you get a chance to make these Oreo cake pops :)
Since it is such a small amount it shouldn't affect it. Think of a sugar cookie (loft house) frosting. It has butter and sometimes cream cheese as well but it is stored on the shelves and not the refrigerator. Ultimately you don't want to keep it out for long. They usually get eaten pretty quick :) Hope that helps clarify :)

Technically yes. You can place the Oreos in a zip loc bag and crush them with a rolling pin to really fine pieces. Then you can mix in the cream cheese with a spatula or clean hands. It will take a little longer though. Hope that helps :)
Hi :) I have never tried making these cake pops with just Oreo powder. It should work fine. However, you will have to adjust a few things. You will need more cream cheese since you don't have the oreo filling when you crush the oreos. It also may not be as sweet. So you may use some frosting and some cream cheese. You may have to adjust it as you go. Hope that helps! Let me know how it goes :)
Yes, the kind you would put on a bagel 🥯 The Oreos and candy melts are quite sweet so it’s okay to add a little bit of tart flavor from the cream cheese.
