Have you looked at Helldivers 2? Its a 3rd/1st person shooter thats a live service game, a comedy and inspired by Starship troopers and maybe a bit of 40k. Instead of a "season pass" it has "warbonds" which, just like Halo, dont expire at the end of seasons. Very tongue in cheek and looks nothing like the first Helldivers which was a top down shooter. Full of chaos it looks like. If I had the money for it atm I'd buy it myself but it looks amazing. Maybe a "50 games of" video?
A tip for Harley's movement; climb the rope as you're swinging forward to gain upward momentum. Doing that will give you more height, which gives you more time to get the 2nd swing meter.
That was the same excuse people used when Gotham Knights came out. The game was and still is trash no matter how you slice it. Suicide Squad on the other hand may be a tad bit better but let's sit here pretend that this game isn't mediocre, especially considering this game is $69.99 USD and live service as well.

I have been playing destiny since 2014, but Suicide Squad's end-game builds are fun, and im having a blast, regardless of all the hate the game has been receiving.
The only problems the game have are the graphics is not so realistic, they killed Arkham batman which is impossible, the master levels are bugged I'm on level 18 and can't unlock the next level because I played level 22 online with other players on PS5 they need to fix this $hit and fix the ugly graphics that has no Ray tracing and poor HDR Brightness and contrast colors, otherwise the game is fun they just need to fix the bugs and fix the graphic that it..
The traversal requires a lot more skill than I thought. Other than deadshot and king shark, captain boomerang and Harley’s traversal is hard asf but I got the hang of it and it works really well with different play style. For power and taking out large groups I use king shark and deadshot as they have really high damage and critical hits and large AOE attacks. I use Harley and boomerang when I just want to get close and mow down enemies while weaving through attacks and land counters, then move out of the way and do it again. So far I love the traversal to combat transitions, it’s so smooth and so fun. You gotta use different tactics for different characters because every character is vastly different from one another.
Me and friends are keeping a close eye on the game, we really wanna play, but are gonna wait a month or so to see what happens. Planning to play the campaign with each character to learn them and see what we all like the best.
Bought the game at $60 deluxe edition which was $40 off and to be honest, I’m having an AMAZING TIME playing it. Definitely worth it. I played the game for 8 hours straight and I didn’t realize I played it for that long. It’s so addicting
IMO Harley’s traversal was the easiest to learn. I’m constantly underestimating with Boomerang and Deadshot how far most buildings are even with their little ‘recover’ techniques so I often have to think fast on where to get their traversal bar back up and King Shark’s feels very limited with the need of constantly finding a place to land so you can reset his bar altogether. With Harley you get a more full range of motion, able to quickly change direction and keep chaining her slide, grapple and swing.
The traversal is the only thing I am still undecided if I should buy it. It looks so good and I bet it plays good. The only shit that keeping me out from buying it is the lack of melee combat.
Am I having fun with it? Oh, hell yeah. Do I have issues with it (which is mainly down to the mission variety)? Also, yes. For now though, the grind for the Bane weapons and tinkering with builds has me firmly in it's clutches. I just hope future seasons bring more variety. If the rumours are true regarding [REDACTED] returning, then I hope that they can introduce some kind of raid or dungeon style missions as a means of that return, but I'm not sure the games built for that.
That last comment applies to Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 games on PS5... Why fast travel when launching gliding and web swinging are so much more fun?!

Just getting really into the endgame, finding it incredibly fun and then finding there's not much community attention being put into buildcrafting or gameplay, more just the dumbass arguments about Batman dying. Wouldn't mind seeing deep dives into the aspects of it outside the arguments, because it seems like there's actually a pretty in depth system there for builds.

I think a majority of people didn't take the time to fully understand the mechanics in this game. Because once understood and one is able to put it into practice, the game is indeed quite fun and satisfying. Suicide Squad isn't bereft of problems for sure, but I do think a number of reviews out there are bit too harsh and very hyperbolic in some cases.

I have to respect the dedication - the game is already dead, basically on Live Support, and yet, someone wants to perfect the movement. Destiny 2 has to be in a really low content spot right now.

The gunplay is some of the most fluid in gaming if done well, and IMO can compete with Titanfall 2 or even Destiny 2, if we are talking how the game feels to play. Loving the content man, and I am glad you can branch out.
It's a third person shooter and Titanfall 2 is an FPS, plus Titanfall's movement is still regarded as the best to this day for FPS games, if anything the Traversal for SS would be closer to the Just Cause games or Spider-Man.

It *is* a bad game, though. It's not a smear campaign if it's plain to see. It is both narratively and mechanically subpar.
