Very nice! Check out "The Baptist Banjo's" version of "Auld Lang Syne" on UA-cam. The Intro and outro is really cool. He added several smooth bluesy licks.
Thanks! You are correct - Bill Keith had the first arrangement of Auld Lang Syne using his D-tuners. For this tune however, I followed Béla's solo on David Grisman's Acoustic Christmas album. Béla's arrangement is in fact simpler than, and no doubt a variation of the Keith arrangement since he still makes use of the tuners Bill invented. Cheers!
@@carsonsass9875That was very pretty! One version Bill did used the tuners on all four strings and I think the one note he couldn’t get he’d grab the string and pull it between the tuner and the nut - so he could play the song without touching the fretboard at all.
