I got out my Martin and backed this video, here in New Zealand, with rich chords along with your excellent playing. Thanks for posting it, 'totally beautiful, the music and the setting. I had previously many times replayed Big Country, thrilled by it, and your version was just as joyous to me. (I've played 5-string since about 1970, 'still do at age 75 every second day). I don't know why the banjo grips my soul so much, perhaps the memories of the festivals, the girls, campfires, but not just that, it's the brilliant ringing, and the fast, delicous, jagged attack of them on the ear and heart and soul.) Thanks again. I'll bookmark it.
