Well Mark, I ordered the whole enchilada yesterday….yes, the complete kit: a polished pineapple handle, 2 caps, all 3 plates with varying blade gaps and, of course, a fantastic and gorgeous stand. Whoa Nellie, my first car didn’t cost as much…LOL!! Jeremiah at Timeless (and wow, he’s an amazing professional) couldn’t have been more helpful with advice, recommendations, etc. I felt like I was getting advice from a trusted friend on my first call! Also Mark, it’s great to buy “Made in the USA” with a smallish, family-owned company that is completely dedicated to quality and service. Like a kid at Christmas, I looking forward to my package from Timeless arriving later this week. Cheers.
Another nice shave Mark. That Timeless razor is an absolute beauty, love the barber pole knurling on the handle. Got to love Old Spice Aftershave, real back in time original scent. You can't go wrong with Old Spice.

You would like the Timeless .68 SB. It is slightly milder than the open comb but put a Nacet blade in it and it will sing!

Mark I just got my dad into wet shaving after he watched your videos with me. I got him Tabac shaving soap to start. I actually wanted to get some Noble otter shave soaps I use the two kings aftershave and was hoping you could review their shave soaps. Thanks for the videos keep it up brother!!

Yes, the razor is gorgeous! That polished stainless steel is simply beautiful. Plus, it's precisely CNC machined and delivers a wonderful shave. I thought for sure the open comb would make it much more aggressive for me. Not sure. Smooth and close. Again, this is the smoothest open comb razor I've ever used. Now, I'll qualify that by saying this assessment does not include double open comb razors. DOCs are a different animal, IMHO. Not really in the same category.
@@MarkSzorady if you used those blades before, I don't remember. I'm probably the most senior wet shaver active in the community, so I hope you can forgive a memory hiccup.

Hey Mark, you got a Timeless!! Very nice hardware!! The only complaint I have with Timeless razors is that overly thick base plate with those lather channels. They can be a real pain in the neck to clean. You'd have to get some pipe cleaners or something to get in there and get out any hair or whatnot. Congrats on getting a Timeless. I have a titanium Timeless razor with the .68 plate and I find it to be fairly aggressive and blade forward. Best wishes and good shaves!
Thanks.:) I haven't had much problem in cleaning the razor. I just use some warm to hot water and that seems to do the trick. However, I have been win the channels with my towel after I give it a good warm soak under the tap. I'll pay a little closer attention to see how long it takes to clean.
@@MarkSzorady After using the Ascension razors almost exclusively as I have for a year, lots of other razors feel aggressive to me lol. I'm too used to the Ascension razors and riding the cap. Can't really shave with flat headed razors anymore. Right after a shave, a good soap or maybe dropping the base plate into a shaving bowl filled with water and leaving it in there for a ferw minutes might also help with those lather channels.
