Jason, yes. As an example, I think aluminum razors, due to their lighter weight, also change up touch and technique a bit.

Nice shave, I am looking into an open comb razor. Any suggestions for a start. I know your a fan of the Ascension but is there any at a lower price point?
So this is not a drink and shave type of razor .
Does the buffer ring come with the razor?
Mine was pieced together. I received the razor head form viewer Alex Lopez. Then, I purchased the handle and stand. Later, the folks at Timeless sent this base plate with .78mm blade gap. I cannot recall if a buffer ring was included. However, other Timeless razors I've reviewed came with a buffer ring.
