It was a great weekend to shave. We had a bank holiday here in the states in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King and over night had 14” (36 cm) of snow so I had a great shave Saturday night as the snow started falling and another great shave tonight after helping neighbors clear their driveways. I was outside from sunup past sundown.
Nice shave. Beautiful flowers and very posh razor as you would say. SOTD was Karve CB with the E plate. Caties Bubbles Purple Grapefruit. West Coast Shaving brush. First use Voshkod. BBS and comfy. Thayers Lavender, Clubman Pinaud, and Nivea balm. MOTD will chicken pot pie. Comfort food. Take care all.

DS Cosmetics is jumping into the stainless steel market, should help keep companies like Timeless honest and on their toes. Anyway, your meal sounds fairly like mine, breaded pork steaks grilled in the cast iron with a vegetable medley. Hey Paul. Great looking razor. My SOTD Merkur 34G with a Gillette Platinum blade. Noble Otter BarrBarr shaving soup and after shave. Wild West brush with a 24 mm tuxedo knot. Finishing of with some Floyd aftershave balm.
My MOTD will be pizza and Wings. I won't be cooking tonight...lol. Please let Mrs. H know the arrangement is lovely as always. Take care.

Gentleman Jon Alum, Texas cold water. Thayer's Lemon witch hazel. Prorasso Red aftershave. Finally, Nivea Men post shave balm.

My Sunday SOTD will be the Rex Ambassador with a Gillette Platinum blade, Simpson Chubby 3 Badger Brush, PAA Cube 2.0, Talbot Shaving Double Trouble soap and aftershave, with some L’Oréal Men Expert Birch Sap Balm to finish the shave. Beautiful flowers and a great shave. It must be Sunday! Your comment about whether that razor is worth the price was spot on. Anything we really want and can afford is worth the cost. But I've learned to shave vicariously through videos like yours. Have a safe and healthy week.

I got the 3d bowyfrom the Etsy shop and I had chose the version with small rounded bumps and I’ve used it for 10 months and brush is perfect

@@PaulHFilms I use a yaqi lucky dice and a Simpsons T3 and I shave 3 times a every 9 days , and their both perfect , that bowl mixes the lothur grooming soaps in no time

Paul first of all Happy New year as its the first shave I am watching after started working again ….. great razor I am thinking alread long time to add it to my collection so far didn‘t find the model I want in Europe and was reluctant to order in the US due to custom duties.

Interesting shave bowl. Looks like you quickly built up a beautiful lather in it. My SOTD will be a Feather Popular razor with a new feather blade, PAA cold Spices soap, Thayers unscented W.H., PAA Cold Spices aftershave/cologne, Nivea for men creme.
The bowl works very well, e very nice SOTD, hope you enjoy it.
Those Timeless Razors are very nice, both in craftsmanship and usage. I perked up at the daffodils today as they were always a favorite of my late mother.

Quality shave Paul💈💈 Nicely done. I have that Timeless razor w/100mm Pineapple handle and .68 gap, perfect for my skin. Expensive..yes but worth every penny to me. Above the Tie is doing well, they have a vast array of razors to choose from. Beautiful flowers this morning, thanks Mrs H. Thayers sadly has discontinued many of their witch hazel products according to the website. SOTD: Gillette "Planet Kind" cream, PAA synth brush, RazoRock "Mamba" SS razor w/Personna Red blade, alum, witch hazel, Aqua Velva splash(Spanish) and 5in1 balm to end...Fantastic. Quality razor that, some engineering gone into producing it and an interesting story behind it. You can see where the money is when you see how it's made.

Hi Paul I was really glad to see you review this razor as I have been researching it for a while. The seller in this country couldn't answer my questions as they said they had never used one which seems strange. I also contacted timeless but didn't get a reply.
I asked what plate on a Rockwell was equivalent and how it compares to a Rex Envoy a razor I really enjoy.
It's a lot of money to spend and find you don't find you like it as much as a razor you already own.

Great Shave Paul, I don’t think you will ever see a timeless razor on my channel, too expensive for my budget but if you can afford it and want it then go for it, and I must admit that it is a beautiful razor, when Blackland come out with the gem type razor and I though come on £175 and you can buy an original gem or ever ready for less than £20 or £30 pounds in good condition but going back to my original statement if you want it and can afford it then go for it, and I always stick to what my dad told me never get jealous of what others own because what you own is more than what other have and always be greatful for what you have and what you don’t have you don’t miss, now on to master soap creations still waiting for Shaving time to get them in I think it was the middle of last year when it was highlighted on there website coming soon grrr, oh that soap sounds great I love citrus and woody notes take care and have great week 😀👍
I only had it on loan, so maybe not seen again here either, but a good quality precise razor, you can never beat the original razors like Gem or Ever Ready, same sort of up bringing Mark, always told think first do you really need it? and then can you afford it? if not save up until you can. Simple. Pity I don't always listen to that these days, especially with shaving products...lol. There must be a legal problem in regards to the Master Soap Creations being stocked in Shaving Time, but hopefully will be sorted soon, enjoy the week too Mark, regards to Glenda :-)

Hi Paul. Above The Tie are still going. I believe that the founder is no longer with us and that his daughter now runs the company? I got that off a Jeoffrey Smooth video " a moment" ago. I bought one of their razors a while ago from there " Scratch and Dent- Ugly" section and it arrived pronto in the UK. That soap you have there is simply to die for. Master Soaps are amazing. Love the razor too but its too pricy for me. Great shave. Stay safe and well.

i notice you hardly ever bother with the pre shave gels/oils - I have heard other sources say its good pre shave beard prep and softens the beard - any thoughts ?
Great video as usual. l've been shaving my head the last few weeks. My assorted GEM Micromatic series l have been using are doing the work alot easier than the DEs l own do.

my original brush needs a new knot ,i want a 24mm tuxedo synth knot ,but i cant finda place to fix it for me.
I have seen videos on UA-cam about Fitting a knot in a handle, not sure if that is helpful for you, maybe worth a look.

Where the hell does "lashentoes" of gravy come from? I've not heard that phrase before.
It is a bit of a joke really, but Lashings means "lots of" so it's a nickname for that really, Lashento's of gravy.
