Halo is a brilliant concept. I was a medical massage therapist for several years and have used a standard goniometer extensively. It's a huge pain, and MTs aren't even under the same kind of time pressure as PTs. She's addressing a very real need, and doing it very effectively. If something like this doesn't work well enough, you can bet that PTs will be quick to catch on to the fact and spread the word. I love this. I'm really happy for her and I hope she's done well.

That did display some ignorance, but I think she was coming from a reasonable place. And as soon as the cognitive and skill benefits were explained more, she accepted that reasoning.
Sadly, Many people understand tech as a new phone yearly, or faster cpu or new social media site... They don't see or realize the true core that is put in place and extrapolated upon that has seen technology advance over the decades. What Jeanine said was a great example of exactly this! Good question! Just to clarify, the word is just "valuation" (but you're in good company, many people hear it as "evaluation", and the meanings are quite close). I'm no expert, but my understanding is that there are various different guidelines for business valuation, and usually it's related to the business equity (that is, their assets, like inventory, equipment, money in the bank etc., minus their liabilities, like debts they owe -- what's left after that is the equity), and the other main thing taken into account is projection of revenue over the next coming year. That's why so many entrepreneurs come in with big valuations that the sharks don't agree with, because the entrepreneurs are starry-eyed about their belief in the potential of their business, whereas the sharks are more focused on earnings that have already been proven. I hope this helps!
47:42. I wonder if they hit that goal considering how the 2020, 2021 pandemic has affected the work space and people actually going to work. I would say the need for child care while working went up but the ability to meet that demand went down because of social distancing.
I am that is obvious. It effected everything. Australia probably will take much longer to recover since they have continued on a strange path of militarization of Covid rules. I guess they thought Covid could be mailed from an eBay purchase?
Kids Co should have its own buildings where they run day camps both for day care and summer camps with their programming. Where parents drop the kids off for the day and after work come and pick them up. Kids at work can be a liability sometimes.

To elaborate on what the other commenter said (since I think their answer, while accurate, may not be clear or intuitive to many people) ... When they talk about a "percentage stake" or "percent of equity", that's referring to how big a piece of the whole company that the shark will own. A lot of times this can be confusing because it can sound like they mean a percentage of profits, or other things, and sometimes sharks do talk about other percentages, so I wanted to clarify that the specific percentage stake is about percentage of the whole company altogether. Think of it like a pizza that hasn't been sliced up yet. By saying "I want ten dollars for 1/10th of this pizza", I'm saying I value the whole pizza at $100, or in other words my valuation for the whole pizza is $100. I hope that helps!
Scope IT Education should run computer camps for those interested in Computer Science. Either extra curricular or in the summer. Or they could put it on a Compact Disc for after school learning.
