Wow, how fortuitous of me!!! I just received my copy 2 days ago and haven't have the chance to open it yet. Today, I log on to UA-cam and Bam!!! Rodney has just put out the video! Thank you, thank you!! Must be kismet...
Hi Rodney! Love watching your game tutorials! It makes playing board games so much easier! I was wondering if you’ll be making a “how to play” video in the near future or if you can please make a video for El Grande board game… the game came out in 1995 but they made a new edition. Hope you can make a tutorial! Thanks!
I loved my first play of this game but I feel now that I've played it 3 times that it's kind of broken. If somebody is winning... it's kind of over. You have no way of coming back into the game if you have been cut off. I'm hoping somebody ready this and says "you have been playing it wrong" because I love the looks.
I always hesitate to discuss game balance, because frankly, it could be a matter of players playing sub-optimally, and I don't want to make that claim here, because... how can I know? I wasn't at the table :). I can say, I've been surprised in my games that when a player gets ahead, an opponent has been able to rally (basically pausing their path building, to instead contest my paths - but then, in the process, laying paths of their own to connect them later for their full path). That said, when I think of chess, or checkers, or other head to head games, when one player starts getting ahead, it makes it harder for the other player. I'm not sure that's so much a matter of the game being broken, as it is, players having to be more careful not to let their opponent get ahead in the first place :) Sometimes it takes a few plays to figure out HOW to play optimally. Maybe that's the case here for you, but maybe not!

Let's do this! Have a great time playing :)

Thanks for the interest! I talk a bit about that here: ua-cam.com/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/v-deo.html&t=342
Great video! Not enough partner games out there, so I’ll definitely give this one a look 👀
Yep, I really enjoy team games too!
Knowing Rodney, he tossed the spinning board game and caught it right-side up in one take. And he definitely didn't drop it.
Thank YOU!
Great game! 🌸🪲🌼
Really glad you've enjoyed it too!

@WatchItPlayed this has to be the best answer I've ever read. Like any game, players will have different experiences!
Rodney with a “shocker”.. of a game 👀
I’ve heard people ponder about how many takes to get those perfect box spins. I know it’s first time, every time.
THANK YOU!
Would you say it is a win or a draw if one team blocks off another while simultaneously blocking their own ability to reach the other side?
Checked with the publisher: "The win condition is connecting both sides, so if neither team can nor did, than it would be ruled as a draw."
Question, what happens if the person who most recently worked in a garden is the solo player?
The start player rules are just for fun really. When it comes to a game with a solo player, they have to be Team C.
