I have a 9 year old, I’m sure a lot of viewers have young athletes as well. Can you do a video on introducing young athletes to strength and explosive training?
We have been doing med ball tosses, push-up, sit-up, box squats, hexbar DL to start. What rep ranges work for this age given they aren’t capable of hypertrophy and we are just training the CNS. Also, they don’t know their bodies and don’t understand a max effort rep unless a load is added. Help me understand how to program at this age.
