Actually showed a spore glitch in 2022 how has this game not got a sequel with fans this dedicated.
EA's not confident they can make a better game than Spore. This is after all peak EA
There are multiple spiritual sequels made by fans in the works, at least.
I don't trust modern EA to make a new Spore

This is extremely beneficial for long term save files and would probably save a TON of time with the Grox.

Got a long term on hard mode and I just can't seem to deal with the Grox (due to health issues and disability these kind of hard mode games are more difficult for me.. yay 😅😅)
This trick means I can still yeet into the center and stuff with my save!
Are there any benefits to NOT being a permanently invincible space ship, other than it taking time to setup, and it being unfun to some people?

Finally, a way to completely destroy the grox
It's pretty easy to destroy the Grox, it just takes a very long time and honestly is a completely waste of time doing it.

Is this used in Space Stage speed runs to get to the galactic core faster?
It's possible to drive past the Grox faster than the pursuing fleet can chase us as long as we have enough Energy Packs for the speedrun. Getting the Energy Packs thankfully doesn't take too long to get compared to the slow out of Energy flying as the Ghost Ship :)
What happens if you purchase HP lvl 2?
The ship stays invincible after buying a Health upgrade :D
If you can get your ship to become a ghost without using all your energy, does it still fly slowly between systems?
It should still fly at normal speed when the ghost ship has energy. And as the ghost ship we can buy more energy and that will make the ship fly normal speed again until it runs out :)
I've decided to actually go through and try this glitch out myself, one notable difference which was not mentioned here is that within your save game you are unable to access the sporepedia. Unless maybe you can find a way around that?
Hmm, interesting I didn't think to try accessing the Sporepedia while working on this glitch. I'll see if there's a workaround :)
Was going to use this, too bad I need the Shaman special ability to do the god ship glitch.
You can change philosophies and get a different archetype ability in Space Stage to get the Return Ticket :)
I got a similiar bug like that, using a return ticket in a planet and getting out of the planet makes your ship gone
That's interesting! I tried it but couldn't get it to work, using the Return Ticket even when loading out of a planet kept the ship on the planet. When are you using Return Ticket while exiting a planet? And what version of the game are you running?
So does this mean that destroy grox any% will be a speedrun category soon? 😅

Hi. Where can I get this game and is it still fun by todays standards? How long is the time to beat, when playing normal? Are there any other games similar to this?
I still have a lot of fun playing Spore but likely because I grew up with it. It's available on Steam :)

I cannot for the life of me become the ghost ship. I'm not sure if its because of having the game on a fast drive, but the save is absolutely instant for me, and I'm unable to click to travel fast enough for it to work
Hmm, try saving (pressing S) and left clicking at the same exact time, then slowly adding delay in the click time on the next retries. The left click needs to be just slightly after, maybe like just a few frames, after pressing S to save. There's a bit of a rhythm to it when you get it consistently. I also play on an SSD with a fairly good computer so I don't think that will affect it. If you are familiar with the Control, Alt, Delete glitch used in some of my other videos, that has been found to be affected by increasing the Lighting Quality option will make that take longer, maybe messing with those settings could help but not sure if that affects this glitch. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll get it! :D

@@bionic1matt A year late, but I had the same problem, I solved it by saving as my ship was destroyed by enemies while in their territory. Keep saving as they get your health close to zero and eventually you'll get destroyed basically as soon as you load into the game, thats when I snuck a save in.
This would be quite usefull if you want to take over every planet
