This building really beats Hollywood Studios’ original facade by a long shot. Still, it makes a great projection screen for “The Wonderful World of Animation” nighttime show.
While I’m not entirely a fan of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, I will agree that Disneyland’s original facade of it is MUCH better than Orlando’s.
Wow. This que runs circles around the one in Hollywood Studios. There it's just the Great Movie Ride minus the movie memorabilia, but here it's an actual freak'n museum dedicated to Mickey. It's actually nice seeing how much of Mickey's history is covered. I mean, for crying out loud, you guys included the freak'n Disco album. That is so nerdy! XD
I really like that this queue is literary like a movie theatee mixed with sort of memorabilia of Mickey Mouse through the years in a way leading up to the 2013 Mickey Mouse. No doubt, they really put in their efforts at least in the lay-out for the attraction. I admire it. ^^
I definitely love this queue more than the rebranded one in Hollywood studios. Don’t get me wrong, I love this ride, but I definitely would have liked something like this in animation courtyard rather than being shoved into the Chinese theater. The references and Easter eggs here are beyond amazing!
I actually agree that Runaway Railway should’ve been in Animation Courtyard rather than in The Chinese Theater facade. In fact, I actually feel like for a better GMR replacement they should’ve done a new version of an old concept, The Great Muppet Movie Ride. Now originally, The Great Muppet Movie Ride was going to be a parody of the original GMR, but since it doesn’t exist anymore, it can’t be that, so here’s my vision for a revised Great Muppet Movie Ride. The new plot is that The Muppets are actually trying to bring back the original GMR, but unfortunately during the experience, not everything goes as Kermit planned or hoped for due to Muppet Mayhem.
I can’t wait to experience Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway railway ♥️ the que is so beautiful. I grew up all things disneyland and now I’m able to share the experience and Magic with my son. So magical and so nostalgic
Am I the only one who thinks the whole story would have been much improved if Pluto had accidentally ended up in the trunk instead of Minnie kicking Pluto into the trunk in an act of gratuitous violence and animal abuse? Disney is supposedly so concerned with the messages they send and yet Minnie kicks the dog ON PURPOSE and everyone calls it entertainment?!
I hope there is sound deadening panels hidden away in there, because I can imagine once you get rid of the virtual queue the inside of there is going to get unbearably loud.
Well unfortunately Disney couldn’t keep the rights to a lot of the movies they’ve used in The Great Movie Ride. Believe me, I miss GMR too, and Runaway Railway would’ve been a better replacement for Magic of Disney Animation instead of the Chinese Theater Facade, but times change.
Unfortunately, great movie ride had to go for contractual reasons. That said, I would’ve loved to see runaway railway take the place of launch bay at the animation courtyard, and they could totally have done a rebranded and updated great movie ride given the amount of IPs Disney has gained over the years.
@@st1922 I actually agree on relocating Runaway Railway, but maybe perhaps to Magic Kingdom instead of Hollywood Studios. Too bad most of the young people this attraction is aimed at will be too busy staring into their PHONES to notice all of these details! (Hey parents, why don’t you try doing this job you signed up for called “parenting”).
@@asmronly24 Actually, I’m a blast! (Why were they even at Disneyland?!?, just stay home and watch stupid Tic Tok videos). …..I’d say THOSE PEOPLE are the pills to hang around with.
For those of you who don’t speak Japanese they said I'm so jealous!!! If Tokyo is also operated in its home country, I wonder if this kind of detail and technology will be installed more and more with the latest ... Every time a new attraction is introduced, I'm jealous that it's too 180 degrees different from Japan! I think so!
Wish the whole ride was about Mickey & Minnie’s 95-year legacy instead of those putrid Disney Channel shorts by Paul Rudish. Same with the Disney World version. 😤
I'll be honest! That Donald popcorn @4:22 surprised me a bit. Then I realized it's probably not edible.. From the lack of enthusiasm of the cast waving at the beginning, to the deadpan comments, to a rather lackluster and safe queue....... I did like the hat, though!
Many wonderful memories, great job

This looks absolutely fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again and experience the attraction!
I’m grinning ear to ear 😄
This is a Disney nerd’s dream! 😍
Did you catch any easter eggs?
I want a Mousekedoer in my house
Think you can add a picture of Toodles next to the giant Mousekedoer?
@XJ-Icequeen I was thinking maybe I could take a picture of the mousekedoer and then add Toodles on there so there something I could do

Wow, this looks so awesome! Its a perfect fit for Toontown. Sorry WDW but our Runaway Railway looks better. Im jus sayin
That would be fun to go to next time I’m at Disneyland
Too bad it’s not a working movie theater

Talk about lot of work. From research, design, and ambiance.

Another cookie cutter ride
Great! Would rather see it from you than the grifting vloggers spoiling the experience for guests
I love what you do
What, already? That was fast. Wasn't expecting the ride to be seen until the next few months..
I Love Mickey and Minnie’s runway railway at Disney World And Disneyland
This is so much fun let’s go and see what it is
What camera are you using ?
Thanks for the amazing tour experience
I can't wait to ride this this and watch the Magic Happens parade when I visit in March.
GIVE ME AN ANIMATION TABLET
Happy Opening Day!!!!!

Did they really have to kill the Great Movie Ride for this?
