I live close to here and we just went the other day and as soon as we got there we left because of how busy it was you could not even see the sand and the water was not even pretty.
Lots to do but all you show is beach and around the beach. Parking is a nightmare, spend $20+ for parking, crowds are crazy. Plus the most invasive species goes to Clearwater, New Yorkers.
I live here and in the past ten years it's just become so crowded and unbearable. It's crowded even on weekdays year-round. Vacation wherever you want, but it's crowded and your vacation won't be as fun, nor will the locals be happy.
I'm 60 years old now and I grew up on this beach and I would never go there ever again. It's been destroyed just like everything else these Northerners have done to Florida.
And bring lots of money,it ain't cheap!
Yes it is expensive but I live near Tampa and that is really helpful ❤

I live in Tampa, go to Sarasota Beach, much nicer, too many hooligans have taken over Clearwater beach.
I’ve been to Clearwater beach when I was 8 and Sarasota when I was 13, I’d say both are really nice overall I like Florida
