Grew up here. It is a beautiful place to visit but it’s lost the charm that made it so great. It takes hours to get to and from the island due to traffic and tourism. As other comments stated, overpriced, overhyped, and overpopulated. Beautiful sunsets and beaches tho.

I've lived here all my life... the water rarely looks like that. Maybe for the your next video you can do a 3 hour short of you sitting in traffic to get to these places. Thanks

3o minutes to get over the bridge, if you're lucky. Nothing but a long line of cars. Tourists gawking f*cks up the flow soo easily and quickly. Its honestly not worth even going, all jokes aside. And i havent even mentioned the insane drive down cortez just leading to the beach. FORGET IT. I'd rather mow the lawn.

i live here and cant be bothered to go outside. Too hot. too humid. too sunny. No fresh water to drink. I mean a person could literally die just going outside here. Best to stay home, whereever that is. It's safer. Trust.

Good places to stay for a week vacation in the area

The water rarely looks like this and with traffic it takes about 3 hours to get 200 feet... and if you decide to walk good luck dodging the idiotic 14 year olds driving golf carts everywhere. I've lived here all my life and if I didn't own a business here I would have moved years ago.
