Hi Guys - A big thank you because you just gave us a terrific 2 days at Clearwater Beach. We visited Ryan’s, Rockaway Grill, the Bait House, Bar Tiki and the Iguana Bar. We also did the Sea Screamer and had dolphins jumping through the wake of the boat. Of course, we finished each day watching the sunset from Pier 60 as the dolphins swam below us. Would we have done any of these things without your vlog? Probably not. It was a great way to finish our Florida Roadtrip (Key West, South Beach, St Augustine, Orlando, Clearwater Beach). We did sneak in a couple of hours at Honeymoon Island before flying out of Tampa. Bald Eagles!!! Many, many thanks - Sue & Clive xx

I grew up on Clearwater Beach and I gotta say that you hit the nail on the head! I do lots of the things you itemized, Frenchy's is my very first stop, OR Pier Pavillion, (not there for the food but for the drinks, the beach front vibe and the music) this is just a few dozen steps away from Frenchy's. Great job sharing a real view of Clearwater...Of course there are dozens more with in a mile radias but including everything would take the fun out of exploring for yourself.
Ok .. after watching this we subscribed and we were up in the air about going to Clearwater beach but now we’re all in !!! Sometime in July maybe the week of the 4th ..
MY God the Sea Screamer... IT use to be way smaller than this one ! We couldnt get up and he was pushing it so hard the front of the boat was lifting up in the air and all I remember was hold on to your hats or they will fly off ! It was one hell of a thrill ! Still have the pictures at my dads house ! We where there back in 1993 ! Going back this year with my own family !

We definitely prefer quieter beaches, but love that Clearwater has options for both types of people. You really did get lucky with that sunset cruise. What an incredible sunset and dinner looked excellent as well!
Amazing video editing skills. I have said "amazing and stunning" at least a dozen times watch this video, how the video zooms in on a shack or ice cream bar but zooms in on multiple different shacks and multiple different ice cream flavors, but from the same angle. Simply amazing!!
Cool video! I live in Clearwater and would recommend the breakfast/brunch place called Speggtacular on the south end of the barrier island. Also, on Fridays the Pier 60 can be super crowded and nutzo. A quick drive south can take one to Indian Rocks Beach, which is more local, yet beachy and quaint.

Active or quieter? I suppose that depends on the day…I love that the Gulfcoast beaches can accommodate either plan! Usually in just a short walk! I love your channel guys! ☀️🏖️🎉
Another lovely escape from this chilly February middle Tennessee morning! I always take notes from your fun tours so when I visit the area I will go to Ryan's for the Eggs Benedict and that yummy looking Bloody Mary! I will also def visit the Baithouse for some of that old Florida charm and Drunken Shrimp! I can't wait to walk the beach with a tiki bar cocktail in my hand! You might get ticketed/fined if you try to walk the beach with a cocktail (I don't think alcohol is allowed outside of designated hotel areas in CWB). But other than that, your plan sounds amazing!!! Thanks for all the support, Rhonda!
Rockaway is one of our go to places in Clearwater Beach...you're correct, the Grouper Sandwich is sooo good! PS...try the Cuban Eggrolls at the Frenchy's SouthBeach location!
We have just had breakfast at Ryan’s Thanks for the recommendation. Eggs Benedict and they gave me a pancake stack as well bc it was my birthday. It was the best breakfast we have had for a long while.

Just booked our next trip down to the area..😊..it'll be our starting point as we'll then head towards the Orlando area as we use that as our base as we head towards New Smyrna Beach for a couple of days plus a trek down to Miami for a day. There's a dozen TripleD places we're looking to stop by. We'll end up on Anna Maria Island for a few days before having to head back to a frozen Iowa. I've bookmarked quite a few places to stop by as we plan on squeezing in some time in the Sarasota/Bradenton and StPete areas too...we're going to be busy! I've said it before .... love your videos!

Wow so much to see and do there! I would love to have a beach day, enjoy some drinks at the tiki bar and go on the pirate ship. So much delicious food - the dinner on the yacht looked amazing. Beautiful sunset shots too. I can't wait til I'm retired and I can be a Florida snowbird 🤣
It is pretty crazy that you can do all those things within a few blocks of each other. No need to drive, which makes it all that much more enjoyable! Can't wait for the day u guys are snowboarding down here in FL!
Skylar and Jamie TY so much for your videos. My family just got back from Clearwater Beach and we also drove to SK. We followed all your suggestions. Ryan’s was amazing. I am a native Long Islander and finding a place that can pull off a great bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich is very hard. Frenchys was amazing . Kids loved Meaneys donuts. SKOB was unreal. Tommy’s Tiki and the Bait house were super cool and yes that drunken shrimp was ridiculous. Again, thanks so much. You guys should shoot a video at Sandpearl. Such a great resort. Cheers!!

If Frenchy's is ever too booked or crowded, I would recommend the Palm Pavilion about a block north as an alternative! Excellent food and service and very nice bungalow atmosphere right on the beach.
We're so happy that our video convinced you to visit! There are lots of beautiful apartment complexes around there to visit. We absolutely loved the experience of apartment hunting in St Pete when we first decided to move here. It was such an exciting time!
Ty for your videos, im learning alot. I've never been to FL and my husband and I will be in Clearwater & St Pete's the end of September. I am SUPER excited!!!
On my last visit I specifically went for the sea screamer only to find it in dry dock. After a moment of disappointment we went for the dolphin boat ride then spent the whole day exploring the beach. way more time than we planned and not disappointing at all.
We actually have done videos on both, although our Dunedin video was done a long time ago and we didn't have nearly enough time there. We will probably make a new Dunedin video someday!
Just got back from a great Clearwater Beach vacation stay. Really enjoyed our visits to Ryan's, The Mint Fox, and Bar Tiki! Planning to hit up the rest in the fall when we return. Thanks for the helpful content!

You guys are just fun to watch. Great reviews! My wife and I love Clearwater beach. We'll be back down from KY in October and this trip will be our 3rd time back in the past year. Staying at the Sandpearl. Fell in love with this resort when we stayed on a previous anniversary trip. A lot of your suggestions are ones we would give as well. We are looking for a sunset cruise this time around and will definitely check out Starship! The buffet looks awesome! Skyler, always go for the meat and potatoes instead of dessert! 🤣 I'm right there with you. Jamie, your voice is easy to listen to, which makes these reviews even more enjoyable to watch. Thanks so much, James! Wow, three times in a year? You guys really do love CW Beach! We can't blame you... there's so much to do and the area is so compact and walkable. We hope you are able to book a cruise this time and have as good of an experience as we did on ours!
For those that are flying in, this is just the perfect set-up. We fly in to Tampa/St Pete, catch an Uber to the resort and then just walk to everything. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, everything is right there. That's what sets Clearwater beach apart from other places for us. We love Ryan's Island Cafe. You guys have probably already checked this other place out for breakfast/brunch but if not, "Another broken egg cafe" on the north side is great! Hash brown benedict and cinnamon roll french toast and the pitchers of mimosas (Lemon Blueberry!) Thanks again, guys. The past several years, we always flew to Destin but this past year has been great down at Clearwater. Looking forward to trying out other places on the gulf coast and will definitely continue to watch your channel. @@Explorcation Edit: We are hoping to walk to Caladesi Island from the north side. I believe I heard you mention you guys did a video on that? Will need to check that out, too. :)

We will have to try Another Broken Egg Cafe....it all sounds delicious! You are right we did make a video on walking to Caladesi, although by now it is very aged LOL but still has good information. Your trip is coming up soon, very exciting!
When we come down in August , we'll go too Frenchy's , Palm Pavilion , Clear Sky , Ride Little Toot and we will go to Tarpon Springs and eat at Hellas , also planing on going down to Fort Desoto this trip down .
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys! I was just in Clearwater 2/21-2/25 and watched some of your stuff beforehand. We decided to check out Ryan’s Cafe, Tommy’s Tiki, Sandbar, and Spinners! Even took the Jolley Trolley around for a day! We truly enjoyed all the recommendations and had such a blast during our visit. Keep doing what you do!
We are definitely a family that enjoys the more quiet places on the beach, but we enjoy being able to be within bike ride distance to activities and restaurants. It’s awesome that so many small beach towns are so close together in that Clearwater area!
Repeat view of this episode today... The Baithouse Drunken Shrimp are amazing! I really liked the Keylime Cider Beer as well! Planning our next trip down and your coverage of the area have been so informative and entertaining!
We actually got the drunken shrimp recommendation from Captain Phil, who took us on the island boat tour in one of our prior videos. We've gone back for it a couple of times since then. It's so good! Next time we'll try that Keylime Cider!

I love everything about Clearwater 😭😍 It really has something for everyone. The beach is my favourite, and the tiki bar on the beach…🤩 I really like how it can be super busy with markets etc, but on other days it’s nice and quiet. The sunset cruise looked amazing and so peaceful, love the views and how cool that there’s even a dance floor 🤗
It really does have something for everyone and all within just a few blocks of each other too. Of course traffic is a nightmare, but if u aren't driving it's great!
Love your dresses on your adventures, so beautiful, the wrap dress was so perfection. Cannot wait to explore Clearwater in April. We travel with our small dog so can't go everywhere, but thankfully you cover so many pet friendly things to do in the area we are thankful we have so many options with our "kid"!

@@Explorcation with your love of tiki bars, you definitely need to plan a visit to San Diego! Main thing I will miss when we leave are all the great tiki bars here. I'm glad to see some tiki options in the area but not quite up to the speakeasy tiki atmosphere in San Diego.

The parking is definitely an issue, as well as the traffic. Once you get to your destination (and parked) it's great. And thankfully everything is so compact you can pretty much walk everywhere!
Hurricane season (and when kids are in school) tends to be the least busy time of year from our experience. We really love September and October. Mid-week is usually the least busy time of the week.
We head down in mid to late January and always have a great time. It may be a little cool for some but we're from Iowa and its a great time for us to get down there.
I love Clearwater during March to August, beautiful water (green or turquois) and especially "no wave" on this side of Gulf of Mexico. It would be bad for surfing lovers. It's windy from Dec to Feb and water isn't that nice. However, I still love Clearwater and Dunedin. Thank you for the beautiful and fun video.
We are moving down to the Tampa area later this year and we love your channel. We used to visit the area years and years ago and Clearwater Beach used to be a smaller sized tourist beach, so its amazing to see how its transformed. The food and drinks looked awesome. Jamie - Mocktails only?

Great video. Where did you stay when you did this video as it looks like you are walking easily to many places along the beachfront. Or where would you suggest to stay?
Thank you so much for watching. We parked in a lot along the causeway and rode our electric scooters to the beach. We've not stayed many places on Clearwater Beach since we live so close. We've heard great things from several people who stayed at Opal Sands but there are a lot of options. I'd say it depends on if you want to be right on the beach (or a block or so away) and if you want to be by the pier area, north or south.
So I'm sad to say that I didn't even realize that I was no longer subscribed to your channel. It's been a difficult couple of weeks so I guess I've been preoccupied. I remembered you saying that you were taking some time off since your channel was hijacked so I really didn't think much about it when I didn't see a new video from you. I just happened to see a new video pop up in my feed and I was confused as to why I didn't get a notification. Then I watched your video about your channel getting hijacked and you mentioned that a Tesla channel had popped up as though it were your channel. I did unsubscribe from it because I didn't know how that channel wound up in my subscriptions. I say all that to say I re-subscribed (is that a word???) to your channel! I'm so excited to see another Clearwater Beach video! As you know, my Clearwater Beach vacation was hijacked by Hurricane Ian. It's my goal to make it back to the area. I had heard about Ryan's Cafe and that was already on my list of places to visit. I've never had a Bloody Mary but I saw bacon and I was sold! Their prices seem pretty reasonable and that's a plus for me 😜 I liked the tiki bar on the beach too. Frenchy's Rockaway was another place on my list to visit. I've never had grouper before and I was really looking forward to trying it while I was down there (because of the hurricane, no such luck 😞). Is it just me or is it rockier on North Beach? Or is that just near the water? That shot at the rooftop bar looked and sounded good 😊 I love a good rooftop bar. I was actually wanting to go to Jimmy's on the Edge. Have you been there? The food on that sunset cruise looked AMAZING!!! I did a brunch cruise when I was in San Diego a few years ago but this cruise seemed wonderful. I'm usually nervous about being out at night, especially since I travel by myself so I may look into trying the brunch cruise instead and just enjoying the sunset at a spot on the beach closer to my hotel. No worries! We know there are a lot of others who unsubscribed from our channel when we got hacked, and we figured they would eventually find there way back! Regarding Clearwater Beach, the north part is definitely more shelly, and maybe a bit more rocky as well. But it also generally has less people (and many more dogs), so it's pros and cons. We know a lot of people don't like being out at night, especially in an unfamiliar place, so we thought the brunch cruise would be a great option. Not sure they let bots on the shop though, so hopefully you are indeed a real person. 😂

Yeah, we agree 100%. Somedays we just need to relax, other's we need an adventure, but either way the beaches here are the perfect place for it!

I always take notes from your fun tours so when I visit the area I will go to Ryan's for the Eggs Benedict and that yummy looking Bloody Mary! I will also def visit the Baithouse for some of that old Florida charm and Drunken Shrimp! I can't wait to walk the beach with a tiki bar cocktail in my hand! Just booked our next trip down to the area..😊..it'll be our starting point as we'll then head towards the Orlando area as we use that as our base as we head towards New Smyrna Beach for a couple of days plus a trek down to Miami for a day. There's a dozen TripleD places we're looking to stop by.
We'll end up on Anna Maria Island for a few days before having to head back to a frozen Iowa.
I've bookmarked quite a few places to stop by as we plan on squeezing in some time in the Sarasota/Bradenton and StPete areas too...we're going to be busy!

Wow so much to see and do there! I would love to have a beach day, enjoy some drinks at the tiki bar and go on the pirate ship. So much delicious food - the dinner on the yacht looked amazing. Beautiful sunset shots too. I can't wait til I'm retired and I can be a Florida snowbird 🤣

I am a native Long Islander and finding a place that can pull off a great bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich is very hard. Frenchys was amazing . Kids loved Meaneys donuts. SKOB was unreal. Tommy’s Tiki and the Bait house were super cool and yes that drunken shrimp was ridiculous. Again, thanks so much. You guys should shoot a video at Sandpearl. Such a great resort. Cheers!!

If Frenchy's is ever too booked or crowded, I would recommend the Palm Pavilion about a block north as an alternative! Excellent food and service and very nice bungalow atmosphere right on the beach.

On my last visit I specifically went for the sea screamer only to find it in dry dock. After a moment of disappointment we went for the dolphin boat ride then spent the whole day exploring the beach. way more time than we planned and not disappointing at all.

You guys are just fun to watch. Great reviews! My wife and I love Clearwater beach. We'll be back down from KY in October and this trip will be our 3rd time back in the past year. Staying at the Sandpearl. Fell in love with this resort when we stayed on a previous anniversary trip. A lot of your suggestions are ones we would give as well. We are looking for a sunset cruise this time around and will definitely check out Starship! The buffet looks awesome! Skyler, always go for the meat and potatoes instead of dessert! 🤣 I'm right there with you. Jamie, your voice is easy to listen to, which makes these reviews even more enjoyable to watch. Thanks so much, James! Wow, three times in a year? You guys really do love CW Beach! We can't blame you... there's so much to do and the area is so compact and walkable. We hope you are able to book a cruise this time and have as good of an experience as we did on ours!
For those that are flying in, this is just the perfect set-up. We fly in to Tampa/St Pete, catch an Uber to the resort and then just walk to everything. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, everything is right there. That's what sets Clearwater beach apart from other places for us. We love Ryan's Island Cafe. You guys have probably already checked this other place out for breakfast/brunch but if not, "Another broken egg cafe" on the north side is great! Hash brown benedict and cinnamon roll french toast and the pitchers of mimosas (Lemon Blueberry!) Thanks again, guys. The past several years, we always flew to Destin but this past year has been great down at Clearwater. Looking forward to trying out other places on the gulf coast and will definitely continue to watch your channel. @@Explorcation Edit: We are hoping to walk to Caladesi Island from the north side. I believe I heard you mention you guys did a video on that? Will need to check that out, too. :)

We are definitely a family that enjoys the more quiet places on the beach, but we enjoy being able to be within bike ride distance to activities and restaurants. It’s awesome that so many small beach towns are so close together in that Clearwater area!
We are the same. We love to be close to the action, but want to be somewhere chill more often than not. CW Beach definitely provides that option!

I love everything about Clearwater 😭😍 It really has something for everyone. The beach is my favourite, and the tiki bar on the beach…🤩 I really like how it can be super busy with markets etc, but on other days it’s nice and quiet.
The sunset cruise looked amazing and so peaceful, love the views and how cool that there’s even a dance floor 🤗
It really does have something for everyone and all within just a few blocks of each other too. Of course traffic is a nightmare, but if u aren't driving it's great!

Cannot wait to explore Clearwater in April. We travel with our small dog so can't go everywhere, but thankfully you cover so many pet friendly things to do in the area we are thankful we have so many options with our "kid"!

The parking is definitely an issue, as well as the traffic. Once you get to your destination (and parked) it's great. And thankfully everything is so compact you can pretty much walk everywhere!

Hurricane season (and when kids are in school) tends to be the least busy time of year from our experience. We really love September and October. Mid-week is usually the least busy time of the week.
We head down in mid to late January and always have a great time.
It may be a little cool for some but we're from Iowa and its a great time for us to get down there.

I love Clearwater during March to August, beautiful water (green or turquois) and especially "no wave" on this side of Gulf of Mexico. It would be bad for surfing lovers. It's windy from Dec to Feb and water isn't that nice. However, I still love Clearwater and Dunedin. Thank you for the beautiful and fun video.

Great video. Where did you stay when you did this video as it looks like you are walking easily to many places along the beachfront. Or where would you suggest to stay?
Thank you so much for watching. We parked in a lot along the causeway and rode our electric scooters to the beach. We've not stayed many places on Clearwater Beach since we live so close. We've heard great things from several people who stayed at Opal Sands but there are a lot of options. I'd say it depends on if you want to be right on the beach (or a block or so away) and if you want to be by the pier area, north or south.
We'll be visiting the Clearwater area the last two weeks of February. What's the best day and time to visit Pier 60 to avoid crowds?
Any weekday before 11 am is good to avoid crowds. Monday-Wednesday is probably the best. We hope you have a great time!

So I'm sad to say that I didn't even realize that I was no longer subscribed to your channel. It's been a difficult couple of weeks so I guess I've been preoccupied. I remembered you saying that you were taking some time off since your channel was hijacked so I really didn't think much about it when I didn't see a new video from you. I just happened to see a new video pop up in my feed and I was confused as to why I didn't get a notification. Then I watched your video about your channel getting hijacked and you mentioned that a Tesla channel had popped up as though it were your channel. I did unsubscribe from it because I didn't know how that channel wound up in my subscriptions. I say all that to say I re-subscribed (is that a word???) to your channel!
I'm so excited to see another Clearwater Beach video! As you know, my Clearwater Beach vacation was hijacked by Hurricane Ian. It's my goal to make it back to the area. I had heard about Ryan's Cafe and that was already on my list of places to visit. I've never had a Bloody Mary but I saw bacon and I was sold! Their prices seem pretty reasonable and that's a plus for me 😜 I liked the tiki bar on the beach too. Frenchy's Rockaway was another place on my list to visit. I've never had grouper before and I was really looking forward to trying it while I was down there (because of the hurricane, no such luck 😞).
Is it just me or is it rockier on North Beach? Or is that just near the water? That shot at the rooftop bar looked and sounded good 😊 I love a good rooftop bar. I was actually wanting to go to Jimmy's on the Edge. Have you been there?
The food on that sunset cruise looked AMAZING!!! I did a brunch cruise when I was in San Diego a few years ago but this cruise seemed wonderful. I'm usually nervous about being out at night, especially since I travel by myself so I may look into trying the brunch cruise instead and just enjoying the sunset at a spot on the beach closer to my hotel.

No worries! We know there are a lot of others who unsubscribed from our channel when we got hacked, and we figured they would eventually find there way back! Regarding Clearwater Beach, the north part is definitely more shelly, and maybe a bit more rocky as well. But it also generally has less people (and many more dogs), so it's pros and cons. We know a lot of people don't like being out at night, especially in an unfamiliar place, so we thought the brunch cruise would be a great option. Not sure they let bots on the shop though, so hopefully you are indeed a real person. 😂
