Apparently (unsure) it depends of how you move, running and jumping possibly trigger them, if you walk or stare like in this video they don't attack, but it's random, many bloopers show them attack, in fact if you watch closely one of them jump, which trigger the attack, once you are attacked the others attacks too, but it's possible to make them attack the raptor and they will forget you for a moment, maybe it's the distance to the raptor that changes things too. Ofc if you hurt them they attack.

Actually they are another species, one of the smallest dinosaurs discovered yet, if the smallest where that big you can imagine the size of the average dinosaurs. I think I've read the average were 40kg for dinosaurs, while it's 10kg for mammals today (unsure), if it's true it means dinosaurs where about 4x bigger than most animal today. In fact being a small dino was a good option to live near Trex as it wasn't profitable for them to hunt small dinos. So this level display a possible wildlife. This is also plausible that Trexes took care of their babies because most fossils are adults, which means baby Trex rarely died, suggesting something protecting them (parents or live in groups). It's also suggested that Trex rarely attack eachother as any bite would be deadly :S
Check if you don't have the button "Stable Volume" on in the settings of the video player, because this button will try to increase the audio when the volume is too low to help creators that can't make pro audio, in this video the noise of the cricket must be low, but YT thinks it's too low and increases their noise, resulting to trash audio. Basically this button sabotage the work of pro audio makers, because this is pro audio.
@@FoXMaSteR001 Thanks for the hint. It's slightly better, but compared to the voice lines, the SFX from the game seem to to have no basses. Might be just personal perception, but the differences are clearly noticeable.
@@dagehol It seems impossible as I don't use any sound filter, maybe check other videos from other people on the same level to compare, it's possible you have an audio system that boost the bass when you play the game only. The voices lines are in a lower quality but on a different track, they don't affect the audio of the game. Also it's still the first version of the game, maybe the newest versions have more bass.

I'm also shadowban from some channels for no reason. There is a button to shadowaban people but in my list there is nobody.
@@JayMcHue Once shadowban I noticed I got shadowban from different channels not only one, there is 3 types of auto-settings, no filter, soft filter (ask to check if it's a spam), hard filter (remove it immediatly), that's the only info I have :( I suggest to wait a month with no activity at all and try afterthat, to be sure make it 32 days. I once got issue with YT thiniking I was a bot and I had to wait this duration with no activity to proof it, it was so crazy I almost lost the account, I found a random person on a random forum telling to do that and it worked, it was insane but true.

How does the AI differentiate enemy from non enemy? You can aim at the soldiers, but you shouldn't shoot them. And the compies are harmless, but Lara still shoots them.
I've wondered about this for a long time. I think the creators intentionally did this to make the game even more difficult. After all, they can program Lara not to shoot certain creatures. By the way, Lara can still shoot the soldiers down just like how she can shoot down the monks from TR2. Thankfully, AI Lara made the choice to treat them as her allies.
The decision to shoot depends on several parameters. The issue with the small dinosaurs was that she had just activated a lever. Since there was no animation or sound indicating that a door had opened, and she had already scanned the entire room, she assumed she was stuck, which led to her aggressive response. This explains her remark that the blast's force opened the door, as she didn’t realise it was already open. Additionally, she didn’t comprehend that she had eliminated the small dinosaurs, but her earlier phrase took the context into account to make sense of the situation. There are runs where she shoots at the soldier when he uses his weapon, but these are rare because raptors are almost always bigger on the screen. There are also collisions that can increase the probability of her to react agressivly, but if there is no blood visible in front of her that's usually not enough to trigger agressivity. The issue is she has to shoot first in some situations, so there is a random behavior and a selection of the runs that worked, for the first raptor attack there are many wasted runs when she just wait to get hit before shooting, which can sometimes be funny, there is an example in TR2 with the white tiger that spins around her XD
@FoXMaSteR001 gotcha. I'd suggest making videos with those "failed" or suboptimal runs, so people can get a better understanding of how everything works. Although you have already made a video about it, maybe smaller, simpler videos explaining those specific points would be good as well 😉
