In the near future, my opinion , you will a choice of water plans backed by DATA collection on family size and basic needs and sanitation, toilet flushing, cooking bathing. Keep in mind scientific research shows it's not healthy to shower everyday especially with soap and chlorinated water. Anyway, of course, those with plenty of money can afford to flush their toilets more often 😁. Living in expensive water delivery areas not a good idea. My advice, sell your home in San Diego asap while you can and move to more environmentally friendly area where everyday activities like work, food shopping are within walking distance from your home. Smaller less consuming home. After all, this is part of Agenda 21 2030 and probly only way you can afford to exist financially on your own without relying on government assistance for your daily survival. You also have Earthquakes, Sea level rise and infrastructure costs there and like the poor citizens experienced in the Paradise and Sonoma fires, good luck maintaining insurance.
