Here are the answers for your school work 1) What is condensation? It is when gas turns into water or any other liquid 2) What is the water cycle? It is when water flows then it evaporates and gets stored as a cloud and the it rains making it go back down making it flow again 3) What are flows? Give 1 example. River 4) What are stores? Give 1 example Clouds 5)Define precipitation? What type of forms does it have? Rain,Snow,Hail 6) What is percolation? Liquid going through a filter 7) What is evaporation? Liquid turning into gas
If you are here for homework: topsoil-> spaces between soil and rock-> bedrock-> fractures-> aquifers. The deeper the flow, the slower the flow. 2 words to summarize, flows and stores. 2/3 fresh water in glaciers and ice sheets
Summary: Precipitation - is the process of water falling onto the surface of the Earth. It could be in form of rain, snow, sleet, hail, fog, and mist. Interception - is the interruption of water movement from raindrops. It takes place when intercepted by plants and trees or other land formations. Run-off - is water that flows over hardscaped ground like grounds covered with asphalt or concrete instead of sinking into the ground. Percolation - is the process of filtering surface water gradually into aquifers due to gravity . Groundwater discharge - is the process of discharging groundwater into the river, lake, or sea. Evaporation - is the process of turning liquid into gas vapor by the heat of the sun. Transpiration - is the process of plants absorbing groundwater. Evapotranspiration - is the evaporation of plants after transpiration. Condensation - is the process of turning gas vapor into liquid. Infiltration - is the process of water infiltrating or moving down the soil surface. I hope this helps ;)
Maybe when the school system figures out a way to teach and not stress people out to the point where a passing grade is all they can aim for, I will switch my attitude.
Ysabel Lóren right I have state testing in about two weeks and I am so stressed out because I have a science test tomorrow and then I have testing smh 😟
Personally, I learned it in elementary school as evaporation, sun heats a surface of water and liquid water turns into water vapor. 2. condensation, water vapor floats up into the sky and it turns into tiny water droplets forming clouds. 3. precipitation, these clouds precipitate in forms of rain, snow, hail, sleet, etc. 4. run-off, the forms of precipitation run off into the lakes, rivers, streams, and oceans. Then 5. it repeats.
Wanna know what i just love? i love that in all of the comments i’ve seen everyone is here for homework- like nobody wanted to watch this but they were forced to- it’s just fantastic-
Just wanted to mention an error - the video states 70% of Earth's water is in the ocean. It's actually 97%. The ocean covers 71% of Earth's surface - maybe the error occurred there? I'm an oceanography instructor and discuss this every quarter.
Water cycle according to the vid: The Water cycle is a process starting from Water falling as rain, snow, sleet, hail or fog. The water might fall on ocean or rivers, and becomes part of the surface. The ice on top of mountains melt and join small streams or tributaries. Some water fall on ground but are intercepted by plants and trees and use them for their own use. Some water fall on the ground, if the ground is hard, the water mixes with other rainwater and in the end store in drains. if the ground is soft, it works as a type of a sponge which absorbs all the water and the water might reac the plants root and be used by them or it foes down all the way to deep underground quifers. It might be fulled up using a well or it flows slowly sideways, and join at the water sources such as rivers which might take millions of years. The water used by the plant roots is carried by the plant stem to the leaves and then releases the water in a process called evapotranspiration. Sometimes the water never hits the ground and is evaporated while its falling and that rain is known as phantom rain. the water from all the sources such as rivers are evaporated and form into gas , get cooled down as it rises up to form clouds in the process of condensation. After that, precipitation happens again and the water cycle is repeated like this
I think this was very educational and helped me with my school project. The video was just overall pleasing. I get annoyed by those dissing the video for their silly little reasons, and I have something to tell them. Too those saying this didn't teach you anything new: So what? You already know this stuff, good for freaking you. You only say it's not educational because you already knew these things. It is STILL educational, it's meant to teach people that don't know these things. Too those saying it's lame or boring: You've watched too many Michael Bay movies.

WOW!! The Bible talked about this thousands of years ago...Ecclesiastes 1:7 [7]All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again." I would have to say that verse gave us a quick glance of the water cycle...AMAZING!!
nice .. informative, but you should keep the music a bit low (volume) so the listeners can concentrate on the explanation rather than enjoying the music 😂 well.. the music fits perfectly in this video..🙄
2:55 - Mist & fog are not "falling water in vapor form". Mist and fog are tiny, minuscule particles of liquid water, so small that they float along, suspended in the air. 5:57 - Clouds are not "visible masses of water vapor". Water vapor is invisible. Clouds are made of tiny particles of water in either liquid or solid form, not vapor (gas phase). They are so small they can stay suspended in the air. Clouds, like mist and fog, are not water vapor, but have formed tiny particles through condensation of the vapor to the liquid or solid phase. It is fairly common for people to misunderstand the process of water condensation in the atmosphere, and this video makes this error twice. Condensation occurs when water vapor in the atmosphere condenses down to tiny particles of liquid or solid water that remain suspended in the air, until they become large enough to fall as precipitation.
