- It's time for Moose Jaw to reclaim their title of the world's largest moose by making Mac the Moose at least 31cm taller. Or else, just re-name to Jaw because it's important for us to protect our national treasures. Think of us like the Nick Cage of Canada.

I donated to the "Make Mac the Moose The World's Largest Moose Again" fund raiser for many reasons. 1) Moose Jaw should have the biggest moose, Come on its Moose Jaw 2) I'm Canadian 3) This video deserves the donation, way too funny. However I do not think they should just increase the size. I think they should go big or go home, recreate Mac and double his size!
What if we made a 20-meter tall modern-style moose made of entirely hardened maple syrup???
I saw this via BBC... and I AM OUTRAGED. When I visited Burkina Faso back in '09, the single most salient topic of conversation I could drum up with Fasonites was our shared appreciation for Mac the Moose. Now, we Candians will be ridiculed on the world stage. We'll have to find alternative landmarks to boast about, like, God forbid, something as unoriginal as Chateau Frontenac or the Rocky Mountains.

How about you get a sign that says Moose Jaw, home to the tallest moose statue in the world and put it on top of his antlers so he's holding the sign up with them? A cheap and effective way to get those extra cm
That's almost the perfect solution, save for the wind on the wide-open prairies. A sail attached to to a 35-year-old concrete moose is apparently a liability. BUT, if we had enough notice of the weather and could find one calm day to invite Guinness down, this solution might just be perfect.
