Superbly tasteful delivery, never showing off, never falling for the temptation of playing too fast just because you can, always aiming at a common goal, listening to one another and fitting together like pieces in a puzzle. This is how you do it.
Love the tune, it's so happy. I will learn it! But it sounds more like a reel or even a march than a hornpipe, because there is none of what I think of as that goofy hornpipe syncopation at all! Very different in meter from the Peacock's Feather, for instance. This is reminding me of an Eliza Carthy recording of a tune that is called one thing in the title but it is a different type of tune in actuality. I, of course, can't remember the name now, and have searched the interwebs to no avail. I know someone who seems to know every tune and title (and he taught me that Eliza Carthy tune) so I will have to ask him!
