You are welcome to ask any questions about the items for sale on my sales page, I will try to answer as soon as I can. Please understand that I can not take the time anymore to answer questions like "Do you think Mexican Fenders are better than Korean Epiphones" or "What's your favourite stompbox under $ 100?" and other general gear-questions. I understand that the casual and informal way of internet communication is inviting to ask anything you ever wanted to know about guitars. However, I get about 150 emails a day (!) just like these, it would take many hours each day just to respond to all these general questions. That is simply impossible to do. However, questions related to items on my inventory I'll try to answer quickly
What! A clean guitar demo without the guitar's sounds smashed by distortion and overdrive? How rare and profound! I can actually hear the sound of the pickups! All guitar sounds drowned in distortion sound alike, and everyone adds their own choice of dirt anyway. Thank you for this refreshing video. I can tell what the guitar's voices are really like!
Exactly
I have this guitar. It is amazing!
Just got one. Love it gonna start to relic then just play it a lot to continue relic slowly
Did you kill that bear to make a mic stand? :(
*Lol
Love the number 2 position on a Strat for that Clapton bluesy tone.
Man, I want that guitar. Just ordered one, can't wait for that Fed Ex truck to arrive, can't come soon enough for me, so I can plug it into my Fender Mustang V half stack.
Beautiful Strat, Brilliant Playing, nailed that 50's Tone!
Take care👍👍👍.
Melbourne, Australia.
Just got a second hand sunburst one and what an absolute gem! Incredible value guitar. Was thinking twice as I’ve got smaller hands and heard the neck was on the larger side, but the profile just works. I may sand the neck down, the lacquer is the only bit I’m not so sure about but that’s personal taste and easily rectified. If you see one, buy it!!! Works for rock too, my EVH Wolfgang has taken a back seat since I got this
The best mexican fender statocaster ever made, a real strat for a mid price..!!!
i have 3 of them; 2 x 50s & 1 60s. Great guitars for sure!
I'd say equally to any Vintage RI Fender guitar...
i have the same guitar in surf green. such a lovely guitar.
This is a crime scene... take a look at the dead bear in front of the amp. It got beaten to death with a microphone.
I thought you were making a weird insult... until I saw him zoom out
Sounds very nice the sound, man!!! Very clean and it's not impossible to know it.
Beautiful sound! Gonna sell one of my guitars for that beauty!
Have 2 of these one you see in this video and a sunburst one they are just something else
You look like Paul Gilbert a bit hehe nice playing and awesome guitar! i want it so bad, i'll have it someday
Is there a big difference between this and the new Vintera 50s Strat? The Vintera range have no fiesta red strat and I really want one to match my Vintera 50s Tele!
The new ones neck and frets are more modern, the neck on this one is true vintage
Cool guitars , the Billy Joe Armstrong Stratocaster Cool turquois Blue , or Surf Green , just stand up and drop it down to the waste and get the MXR dookie pedal and have some fun , a cool guitar ..... I smashed the like button , nice blues tones ......
Perfect! Thank you.
Great guitar but I hate that thick plastic finish on the neck. So I spent hours scraping it off, then treating the wood with linseed oil and beeswax. Now it's a dream strat
It's lacquer, but yeah, I don't like it either. I feel like my fingers rub and slow down on it. Prefer rosewood for sure.
@@outsiderdf if it was laquer it would be fine, but it's actually polyurethane (cheap plastic equivalent) , which is thicker and stickier (unless you payed like 300 more for the laquer version)...
Was it much work? Did it come out looking like a pro job, like something done from the factory, say?
jerome
all strats including squier will sound about this good thru the reissue vibroverb or whatever it is,i have htis in daphne blue, needs big frets an neck adjustment where it belongs,it aint the 1950,s no more, but yes a beautiful guitar....
I really love this guitar i'm looking for buy one but i don't have the money enough :( (Sorry by my english ;)
Have one in Sunburst and one in surf green
daphne blue or surf green ? good video ;)
@GregsGuitars.
I love that guitar! What colour will I get? I have 4 red Fenders! Seafoam Green or Daphne Blue?
KRAZEEIZATION 😂😂 I'm in the same situation! Was all set for seafoam green and now I'm leaning towards Daphne Blue!!
That's a SFG he's playing btw
I've had the Daphne Blue-and it will actually fade to a Surf Green tint eventually. It's pretty amazing-so you kind of get to have both colors with one guitar.
Fender and Squier no longer are offering a Stratocaster in; Torino Red, Rosewood Fretboard! 😠
Btw I love this combination. Also I did check on the official FenderWebsite and besides some funky looking reds, there's actually one Stratocaster model that does come in Torino red. It is the Eric C. artist model, but it only comes in Maple fretboard, because Mr. E. C. strongly prefers Maple over Rosewood!
I bought a 1999 Fender Classic 50's Strat off of E Bay in really rough shape. Got it for a little over 200 bucks. I had a big crack across the top, a hole where the top strap button should be, all rusty and the numbers were worn off the volume knob. The bridge saddle could not be adjusted so I put in a USA trem in it but the springs rubbed the the sides of the cavity so I had to open it up with a router a little. It needed paint work anyway. When I routed it I found that under the Daphne Blue was Fiesta Red and under that was Surf Green. I guess the workers down in Mexico could'nt figure which color looked right . The Fiesta Red is showing thru in spots like the forearm cut. I also put in Fender 57/62 pickups. It had a Seymour Little 59 in the bridge when I bought it.
is it good now?
Fender sound is my favourite sound. it is best!
Made in mexico?
What are those pickups ? I know the name by what are the modeled after? Trying to put pickups like that in my custom strat
What gauge strings are on it?
pretty much decided what my self birthday present will be :) that's MIM correct ?
OneMinuteFixed Hope you already got this guitar but it’s a seriously badass guitar this in my opinion has got to be the second to best guitar I’ve played besides a vintage custom shop Strat which was like $2000 for around $700 you’re getting yourself a deal.
Ended up getting an American special because why not :) really happy with the sound and quality
American special is nice. Like the one with humbucker in bridge. This guitar though has become one of my favorites. The neck is very comfy to me. Dont love the bridge PU but doesn’t sound bad they’re just better options. Really liking the idea of Eric johnson pickups
I have a £100 squire strat, if I buy this 50s strat, am I going to be able to tell the difference in quality or should I not bother
Aspiring Beardsman Yeah, I own a squier strat but just tested this out at the shop. There’s a world of difference in the tones and feel
@@j2rs85 yo brother thanks for sharing! Think I'll have to pick one up!! Does it really have the bell like clear tones?
Can you please tell me what is the original song's name?
i think he is just improvising on a 12 bar blues
Looks more like surf green to me ?
Yes this is definitely surf green. I just saw this at the shop yesterday.
it is daphne blue - the camera has added a greenish flavor to the color
+GregsGuitars oh I see
Greg, is this a Mexican strat?
Is the 7.25 inch radius capable of handling low action strings when bending?
Thanks in advance
Agustín Grauberg This is a Mexican strat. That's all I can answer for you.
yes man
what string gauge did u use? .009?
i like your shoes bro, what brand ?
İs this mexico ??
What is the reverb on there? You don't mention it in the description and it does not sound like a spring to me...
some additional reverb from the behringer mixing dex
It sounds Glorious!!! I was hoping to get a new pedal, haha!
I love your vids btw
OOOH they do want you and much more, cas you blue me out,WOW
Is this a Made in Mexico or Made in USA strat? Thanks.
Mexico.
It's japan classic 50 dude?
adrian cahya zahroni mexican
mexican made?
Lino Alcaraz yes
Pickups are made in U.S.A!!!
@@BM-ub9gh soon as I brought this home I tried to find everything out about this guitar unable so I think it is a high end mexican strat it sure does sound so good.
is american or mexico?
I need this guitar with a humbucker in the bridge
Maybe a dumb question but is this the “ budget” model? Around € 700? Thanks
Yes it is.
Yep, those Classic 50s are very thin sounding to me.
I have this guitar, I Installed a set of 69 pick and sounds more balanced
My favourite Fender pickups the 69s :)
Did it ever occur to you that perhaps his settings are much different than your expectations, also this is a youtube video being listened through cheap speakers. Not the same as hearing it in person.
Danthehorse I like the thing sound. It's great for country style banjo rolls and such.
Put nickels on it, much richer and balanced sounding. Gotta consider that the pickups were designed for those kinds of strings.
FIRST BITCHES!!!!!
What gauge strings are on it???
Made in mexico?
Danilo Zanata yes
Made in mexico?
Yes
Hecho en México y distribuido en Fender S.A. de C.V.
