Nice finds guys it was certainly worth braving the wind in that huge field, nice side notched points ,and drill as well, Tika found a nice big corner notched point also, congrats again guys
Very nice! Thanks for sharing- you came out on top once again! The only problem is, I'm not getting any work done because I'm watching your videos, lol.
We haven’t had the record breaking temps like the Northwest but we did get 19 inches of point exposing fluid from the sky which has made all the beans that didn’t get drowned out grow like Jack himself planted’um and hide untold treasures till fall. Luckily some of my best sites are high Sandy ridges along the waterways that are always in cotton which has been failing to thrive so far and giving me a chance to try and set the record for most gallons of sweat from a single human, thought about opening a canoe rental place if it got any worse. It’s been well worth it though as the little darlings have been popping up in record numbers like the horseflies and skeeters that joined with the humidity to keep me from getting just a little bit TOO Happy with my bounty. I know y’all have tough winters but these stultifying dog days in the Delta give us our fair share of suffering. Always enjoy watching my fellow nut jobs hard at work looking for old rocks in the dirt! Carry on!
I know what you mean Gary. We had one of our best spots in no till and another turned into natural area never to be farmed again. Hope your spots get tilled for you next year. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you sir! I believe you’re right on the Celt. Unfortunately as usual it was broken. Good to be out either way. Appreciate you coming along! Best of luck to you!
Nice hunt. Don't be disappointed on those days that you only find a few pieces plus a bunch of brokes. I have yet to find any private land where I am that produces and all Federal and State lands are off limits. I would love to find a drill. Keep having fun GD
Thank you for the words of encouragement! Hope you find some private property that begins to produce for you. In the meantime, glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching and commenting.
That’s awesome! I would have zero idea what type it was. Just knew it was one of the more unique ones I’ve found. Teka gives me grief every time I haul another one home….🤣
@@artifactaddiction an artifact is an artifact, you are just preserving history, if you left who knows how badly they would get damaged by farm equipment.
Another good hunt considering all your fields were not ideal for hunting! The slate piece maybe a chopper or hand hoe? Would have been sharp enough and fit good in the users hand due to its small diameter. Good luck on the next hunt!!!!
Man U guys found bunch nice 1s!! Love the little translucent point N pencil drill!! I can’t seem to find a pencil drill 🤦♂️. GR8 vid Thanks for show 👊🏻
Definitely a good possibility. It was smooth as can be around the edges. We have found other smaller drilled slate pieces in that particular field too. Thanks for watching and commenting!
First comment.....🤣😂🤣😂 Congrats guys !!! 👏👏👏 I find a bunch of slate peices and from the video I'd say busted up celt. I just found anuther gorget a couple days ago. I'm trying to put the video together now should have uploaded this evening. Oh yah, can you say cotton ball. I wish I'd mentioned it sooner. But still eggcellent video yens made. Good finds in a great looking spot. See ya next time. Oh, bout forgot to tell yens. Pendants are done. Expect a package in the mail next week. 😁😁😁✌
Thanks man! We will definitely try the cotton ball idea in the future. Appreciate you passing it along. That’s awesome you found a gorget piece. They don’t come by very often. Looking forward to seeing the pendants! Have a good Holiday weekend!
Quite the haul there!!! Wish i had some fields to look. Thank yall!!!
Thank you! It was a tougher day than we’d hoped for, but it didn’t turn out to bad. A few good hunts coming up soon too though!
Nice finds guys it was certainly worth braving the wind in that huge field, nice side notched points ,and drill as well, Tika found a nice big corner notched point also, congrats again guys
Yes, it was a challenging day with the conditions, but we were fortunate enough to save some good pieces. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Isn't it funny how just one whole point can make the hunt worthwhile? Congratulations on all you finds, even the hammerstone! lol
You got that right! Some days I’m just hoping for one killer piece to make the day. This was one of those days. Thanks for stopping by!
Gotta love them sidenotchers!!! Great hunt.👍🏹
Sure do! Some of our favorite pieces without a doubt. Thanks for watching and commenting as always! We definitely appreciate that.

Always love your detailed comments John! We certainly appreciate your support. Thank you as always and Best of luck!!
Y’all should make a garden with all the Hammerstones and Flint chips😁👍
That would make a cool rock garden! Great idea!
Good finds! Happy hunting!!
Thank you Leslie!!
Awesome🏴💖😊👍
Thank you very much! We certainly appreciate your support!
My good places got no tilled this year and it's been rough hunting. Congrats to y'all.

@@artifactaddiction Love watching y'all
Good day! I think the slate piece may have been a celt - sure looks like a bit on one end. Love the big sidenotched point.
Thank you sir! I believe you’re right on the Celt. Unfortunately as usual it was broken. Good to be out either way. Appreciate you coming along! Best of luck to you!

It’s definitely getting towards the end. I’ll try and hit some spots later in the year when the corn is up tall.

Cool finds. Looks like that hammer stone might made of gneiss, pronounced like the word nice.

The struggle was real, and you still came out on top. Nice finds for sure.
It was definitely a tougher day, but some nice artifacts were saved nonetheless. Thanks for watching and commenting as always!
That purple one is sweet, hopefully the next one will be in tact! 365 sent me, subbed
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the sub! We certainly appreciate it! Plenty of great finds to come.
@@artifactaddiction looking forward to it, very different from what I find in Washington

Thank you Brian! We seem to find a decent amount of those tiny pencil drills up this way. Glad to find that tiny one too. Thanks for coming along!
Very nice finds did you see the gorget I found Last year
Thank you!! I haven’t seen it, but I will definitely check it out.
@@artifactaddiction your welcome and thank you
Good hunt. I think ya beat her this time!
Finally! It doesn’t happen that often…lol!
What style of camera do you folks use for your shots? Great video as always.
Thank you Mathew!! Always appreciated. We are using an IPhone 12 for the most part.
I think that piece of slate is half of a banner stone look where it is broke it looks like it was drilled the hole looks rounded
