I love the idea of a 'lost mission' set during Hitman 2, and getting to hang out with Lucas again is awesome.
And John Hopkins, Lucas Grey actor, is completely over the top as usual. It's wonderful to hear him again.

A bit weird if it's an expansion to the Hitman 2 campaign and free for those who just have Hitman 3, but it is still a way to positively fill some gaps in the story like the wait between "Another Life" and "The Ark Society" Mission which where 'in terms of time, quite far apart'. But I still can't wait to explore the island!

Makes good business and story sense when you look at the trilogy just being one big game, and with H3 holding all (well, *almost* all) of 1 & 2's content. As long as it's to make use of cut content, there's little to really mull over
The bad lip sync is probably because IOI is a small independent studio with lack of funding and are putting most of their resources into the 007 and unannounced games. Can't wait to play this tho
Definitely. Hopefully they have much updated tech for the 007 project though.
Most likely. I think they'd much rather put money on new projects rather then a 3 minute cutscene which after we watch once, we'll probably all skip.
IOI and the devs you're doing phenomenal, keep making the levels at your own pace and make Hitman III the best one in the franchise!!

I love how 47 doesn't have one line of dialogue. They know the character so well at this point. He won't speak unless it is absolutely necessary

My first feel to the island: i think its reaaly GOOD, reaaly are.
What i miss is more challange, and the mission stories.
Now i only looking forward to the Freelancer mode.

respect for making this free bro
Feels a bit like they dug up a cut level and descided to finish it.... Facial expressions look a bit weird in the cutscene and the attempt at humor falls a bit flat in my opinion. Hopefully they can improve this significantly for their 007 project. I hope that the money they gained from Hitman 3 allows them to improve their cutscenes significantly. Hopefully they could switch to full real-time in-engine cutscenes :) Especially now they are free to upgrade their Glacier engine in whatever way they want to (not having to keep backwards-compatibility in mind like in the Hitman Trilogy) and their 007 project probably being next-gen-only, they have so many more possibilities regarding in-game simulation (as CPU's in these consoles are significantly greater than last-gen), graphics and cinematics.
Don't think so, they release 6 maps in every game so seems fairly standard
@@boombazilla Yeah, but could be that there were multiple ideas put into production and just a few of them were dropped before release because of design choices, other levels being better, budget, time etc. And that they decided to finish this one after release. But that is not a bad thing, hopefully I can play this level soon after I get a new monitor (old one broke down last week :( )

Interesting. It's before they move to Isle of Sgail and it's two targets. I love it when we have more than one target and I'm excited of the ways to kill them
love this game and hope they keep supporting it.
Its weird how they charge for escalations that you only play once that just require one programmer to change gamerules.
Meanwhile a replayable, high quality map that requires the labor of modelers, artists, programmers, writers, animators, actors etc that gets made for free when i most of us would be willing to pay for good new maps.
I guess they are compensating for H3 having one less sandbox level with the linnear train level.

The briefing is surprisingly down to earth compared to the usual "woosh-woosh" of super high-tech, unnecessary graphics in briefings. I mean those are made for one person. 47. Why would you need a team of 10 animators to prepare an ultra-secret briefing? 😀

I tell All the time, you have to bring that Jesper Kyd soundtrack again, Classic sound effects and make the game more serious and dark, more brutal too. I love the franchise but now its Looks like Some life simulator with not realistic dialogues and such identic cartoon character models. Community want Silent Assassin and Contracts vibes back. Also story should be in the end of 90s and beggining on 00s, it is best time period for 47, doing contracts for agency, with more evil targets and not so happy environment

Nice. I was expecting the story to be related to the events after Haven Islands, but this fits better.
I dont think anything left after haven. I believe partners were located from haven servers right?

If I could have us get one more map like this I would love them to do an alternate ending to Hitman 3 set within the Asylum in Romania where the objective is still to take out Arthur Edwards but in a much more freeform environment than the train.

@Laura UK I like it too but it doesn’t really suit a Hitman game and I have seen many suggestions that it could have started like that but evolved into a more open experience, kinda like a more advanced version of the police chase from Absolution or a variant of the Berlin mission.

I liked the mission dont know if the map if my taste but its free i cant complain i enjoy it at the end of the day i hope we get some update about the release of freelancer mode soon because i think will unlock the replay value of the game more than it is now

I almost forgot grey died. Its fun to see some prequel mission, if you understand. Something before the ending. I hope to see more mission, before or after the constant. But most of all im looking out for the freelancer mode!
