So I just played it for my daughter to show her the song her brother used to dance to when he was a toddler. I thought man song is so funny/smart and fun, seems so underrated 😆 Always amazes me some ppl don't understand the humor in playing up an alter ego.

My parents were in this music video! :) and they got pieces of broken guitars and had the band sign them. I wish I could've been there. They said it was a lot of fun! Although they got sick of the song after hearing it so much to record the video xD

Favorite song of all time. These guys remind me of the people we knew and know (who still come to visit us) in TN who are some of the most honest, solid, and courageous people on Earth. However, we saw the Rockies and sold our house in TN, and moved to CO. Love TN & TN people.

I hate when people say things like " this doesn't sound like weezer" " this isn't as good as blue or Pinkerton" " red album is too fake"..... well sorry you feel that way, if you don't like it, don't listen. Just because it doesn't sound like their first two albums doesn't mean it doesn't sound like weezer, rivers wrote it and they played it, so it obviously does sound like them. If red album is so fake explain the songs "heart songs" " everybody get dangerous" and "the greatest man that ever lived" weezer is the best band of all time and despite all of the haters stayed playing and is still together after twenty plus years, just trying to please you ass holes, and do what they want.
I always felt the Red Album was just a Dads Being Dads type of album, and I love it for that

I find this one to be more impressive than Paramore’s because in that one almost every record they tried to break was hyper specific and not really impressive, but all of the ones in these videos are vague and genuine accomplishments.

@theMingst3r their song "Undone (the sweater song)" is actually about going insane and a guy who is depressed. Weezer's ability to appeal to a wide rage of emotions is one of the qualities that make them great.
