Big Dan takes no prisoners (also spitting facts)
Man Pinnacle Station is memorable, and nostalgic for me personally. And it's improved in armax arsenal arena
im kinda hype for this even though im broke, not gonna lie
Too soon give them til 2077:D
Or Sonic Team with Sonic '06, back in the day. X'D
Imagine you’re the first human Spectre, trying to stop Saren and save the galaxy, but instead you play a video game that will kill you for real if you lose, purely for the bragging rights and so you can get a house in the middle of nowhere.
Well presumably Shepard just wants to get more skilled through training
Please. Its shepard. She/he survived a thresher maw/50 batarians/50 turians JUST so she/he could be considered for spectre status against his/her will. Now she has 2 cannon fodders to command
Thats some windwaker shit right there
I only played itfor the gear and xp
Im Commander Shepard and Im the most logical person in the galaxy. But really, we're the ones calling the shots for Shepard. And if reloading the save wasnt available and your death in the game would mean the end of the story, then yes this one deadly challenge in Pinnacle Station wouldnt be worth it.
Good thing Citadel gave us the superior Armax Arsenal Arena.
I wish it also simulated the multiplayer maps.
@@AdmiralBison i wish we could have done it in multiplayer
@@Nicole7073. damn. A drop in drop out armax arena where we use our Shepards... what a missed opportunity
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my least favorite DLC on the Citadel
Even worse than the one Kolyat Krios was selling?

Oh, come on! Getting Endgame equipment midgame if you are skilled enough is worth it.
I should go

I'm having trauma flashbacks from trying to get perfect scores on this on insanity difficulty for some reason. it's been like 10 years but hearing "there's no award for getting shot" brought it all back to the surface
I did this recently. Wasn't too bad, but definitely one of the difficulty spikes in the game.
The final simulation on Insanity was Dark Souls levels of fml

Everyone in the first part of ME1 reminding you that Spectres aren't Trained, they're chosen/born.
@@LeviathanTamer31 oh, that too
completely forgot about that
@@blueshit199 No worries. The Devs of this DLC forgot that more than both of us.
@@LeviathanTamer31 spectres still have special training though. Garrus repeatedly mentions special spectre training programs

It like that mini game in mass effect 3 dlc but less fun
Actually, that's pretty accurate, considering he's probably had to answer these same questions about a billion times.
That's probably how the voice actor really felt
I can live without this DLC. I remember being super excited when this came out. I actually took a sick day from school just to play it, and immediately regretted the decision.
dude I can hardly believe DLC existed way back in 07
@Ralis Sedarys Depends on the level of school and how good your instructors are 😂
Yeah, no great miss with this DLC! Any of the others would have been a bigger hit.
@Ralis Sedarys you don't learn shit in school dude
@@jennytalia6724 There was even DLC in the 90's and possibly earlier: I'm certain these two are not the oldest games with DLC, just the oldest I know, but 1998's Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit and 1999's Need For Speed High Stakes had free DLC cars released for 2-3 years after release
I found out about this after my dad let me know that "one of the DLC won't be included... Think it had somethin to do with the Citadel?" And let me tell you my heart *stopped* for a second before I looked it up.
Lord could you imagine the backlash from the community, BioWare would be burned to ashes.
The Citadel DLC is the best part of ME3
Ur dad being into Mass effect is wholesome af
The point of the dlc for me was the absurdly good weapons and armor you get from the apartment. That's what you're working towards doing this dlc.
Same here. I like to have all my crew in Colossus Armor and top tier weapons and upgrades. I like the the Colossus armor so much that I recolored my ME2 and ME3 armors to black and red so that they would match the ME1 Colossus color scheme.
@@joe6pak14 agreed
I used Pinnacle apartment as money sink. If you 100% everything you end up with more money that is possible to carry. ESPECIALLY if it's a new game+ that you needed for level 60 achievement. Later I just console coded unique armors and guns myself but still used the shops to get things like glowing geth armor for Wrex. Everyone wearing Colossus is just boring after a few runs.
@@KasumiRINA Interesting, is new game plus needed for 60? On a hardcore playthrough right now and i made it to 50 during virmire. (havent went past that point yet). Seems feasable to hit 60 between then and the end. (The trick is to always score killing blows during mako sections outside of the mako, massivly increases the xp you get per kill).
@@Kragith You've probably already found out, but the gap from reaching level 50 to reaching level 60 is huge. Not using any exploits, just chasing as much XP as you can, you will finish ME1 at level 58, *provided* you have finished the game a least once already, as the last 10 levels only unlock after that.
That means going to every planet, taking on everything on foot (including Thresher Maws) and playing as optimally as you can. Having the achievements that boost XP gain will be a huge boon as well.
This is one of the few dlcs I missed and from the look of it we aren't missing too much.
Actually I really enjoyed it and I think its bs they arent incuding it. An updated version of it would have be awsome.
This dlc is effectively in ME3.
This dlc even when it came was considered pretty disappointing
It's a fun at fjrst shooting arena but quickly over stays It's welcome if you're a completionist. The later arcade in the Citadel DLC is better by far.
Yeah it was basically multiplayer without the multiplayer. Not really important to the story.
It is like Armax arena from ME3.
A bit different of course.
Never played this, but that salarian sounds like he doesn’t wish to be there.
Neither does Jennifer Hale...
Yeah he's pretty clear letting you know he thinks he's surrounded by meatheads.
@@sarasunshinemt4444 and that his skills are being wasted there.
Technically there is something that carrys over from this DLC the "Turian Spec Ops" War Asset , when you scan the Pinnacle Station in ME3
EGM also added Shepard's Apartment on Galaxy map I think :3
It is kind of amazing the modding community was able to make this basically on the same time frame the employee at BioWare estimated it would take them
I was wondering why it wasn't mentioned on Steam, but it's really not a problem, it doesn't matter in later entries. Bring Down The Sky is an underrated DLC, can't wait to return to that story.
Bring down the sky was pretty good as something extra
All of the DLC for the original ME1 is free. You used to be able to go to EA's website and download it but in Feb of this year EA accidentally invalidated a ton of steam keys so that these could no longer be redeemed on Steam.
Yea that was cool and carries over to ME3.
@@mickomoo I have ME1 on Steam and Steam gave me the Origin key, which got ME with all DLC, since its DLC didn't work in Steam version for some reason.
@@KasumiRINA EA revoked all the steam keys this year to stop piracy of EA games (an issue unrelated to mass effect with a ton of collateral damage). Because of that people couldn’t add the dlc to the steam version unless they either modified their registry files or called EA support. In the past the DLC worked on Steam.
There’s a Halo Easter egg in one of the emails on the apartment terminal. Ahern sent an email to Lord Hood
I saw the Lord Hood email and it didn't click for me at first.
I remembered I got this for the PC version by emailing EA support. They literally just sent me a Dropbox link to it and told me it was the original press version.
Do you still have it?
Yeah I'm sure some modders could add it in, if anyone had access to it and felt like it.
I thought they knew Pinnacle Station was lost way back when they released Mass Effect 1 on PS3 back in 2012, as it wasn't included in that release either, just Bring Down the Sky. I guess they should have put in more effort to locate the source code then, as it is less likely it would have been corrupted in 3 years vs. 12 years.
Except it was corrupted in 2012.
I mean it's still on the Xbox store and works just fine I replayed the older games of the trilogy last week work perfectly fine but it's a pretty useless DLC tbh
@@ultrainstinctvegerot4946 The compiled application is still available for 360 and original PC version of Mass Effect, yes, I'm talking about the original source code that was lost. It's what you need in order to port the DLC to another platform unless you intend to rebuild it from scratch.
@@GuardianOwl fair enough
It's a TRAGEDY this DLC got lost forever. I always played in character that after becoming a Specter, Shepard would train with the best of them. Yeah, the gameplay was uber-repetitive but I definitely liked the little spot planetside (where you could also get top-tier Colossus Gear if you paid the big bucks). You shall be missed Admiral Ahern, you shall be missed.
That dude really bet his apartment!? 😆
It was supposed to be his retirement, if I remember correctly, but he didn't really want it because he didn't see himself living the last of his days there.
@@thehavoccompany-a3 I couldn't either honestly, it was crap real estate. But hey cheap requisition for some of the best gear
@@AbdefFable1 Nah it's prime real estate after the Reapers invaded, middle of nowhere in an unpopulated area. Shep lost his other apartment when they took the Citadel, also everyone living there died.
First Time Survival on that Virmire map: "Man, how long does this go on? Guess it goes till i die."
Over 13 minutes later: "13 minutes 26 seconds, hope that was enough. Oh" next best was like 4 minutes or so.
Oops
I did the same thing but I went for over 30. Then I just stood there and let the enemies kill me. It took them over 15 minutes.
I had to switch to some junk level 1 armor to die.
That was me on every one haha
Yeah Survival was a joke, even on Insanity the only limiting factor was how fast they spawned in new grunts for you to mow down.
I did something like that, and it froze my damn Xbox
For me I loved this dlc. On Insanity this is actually the hardest part of the game. The house was awesome for replenishment of your grenades and the best shop in the game with the best gear and mods hands down.
Good god what was the last mission like on insanity.
I had to turn it down to casual
I remember raging at this just because the best score was possible only when the enemies spawned right.

Me too ... exactly!

Tbh as a completionist I am relieved I don’t have to play this DLC every playthrough as it doesn’t do anything for story wise
"No you can't do it, you'll die, and then I'll be in trouble"
"Wanna make a bet?"
"Fine, I got a house you can have if you beat it, what's your wager"
"My life"
"Ok"
What?
LOL I Know! I thought Shepard would bet the Normandy or something
If there was one DLC that wouldn't make it into the remaster, I'm glad it's this one.
I hated running through that thing. But my completionist brain wouldn't leave me in peace until I finished it, even though it has (almost) no story and I found it extremely boring.
Now Armax Arena.. _that_ is a good take on this concept.
If you liked this DLC and are sad that it's missing, take confort in that you still have Armax Arena, which is essentially the same thing, only done right.
Hey atleast it appears in ME3 still from what I'm hearing and you get a war asset
From completionist pov I'll miss this DLC. You can get ultra rare equipment from those shipments. You can save scam that part and reload when you get what you don't want. There's a limited pool of loot you can get from them and all are literally best you can get.
They actually knew they didn’t have the source code before working on the legendary edition. They mentioned it before ME1’s release on PS3 because it didn’t have Pinnacle station on there as well
BioWare wasn’t over that dlc another company made that for them and the code wouldn’t fit
And yet, every time I play this series, my Xbox has to talk to their servers to verify my DLC purchases. How hard is it for them to reverse engineer their own product, anyway?
I'm thinking they had to cut something for budget purposes and this was on the short list.
I'm just really bummed that they aren't bringing back the multi-player in ME3.
*edit
aaaannnnndddd that's what I get for not watching the video before commenting like an asshole lol
@@sarasunshinemt4444 they need leave multipleplayer out
@@sarasunshinemt4444 I doubt it, just look at SE they're the biggest idiots at losing source codes.
Pretty much all FF from FFX and before have lost assets.
Its not shocking that Bioware lost some too.
@@sarasunshinemt4444 IT'S NOT their own product. Demiurge Studios developed Pinnacle Station, NOT Bioware. Even the video itself says they would take 6 months to rebuild Pinnacle Station from the ground-up.
Would've been awesome if they remade this but had it as a tutorial area. Like Shepard is at the facility. When done, the mission to Eden Prime will come in and Shepard will go off to it.
Think it was intended that way, somewhat and that was wwhy i liked 🤷♂️
I would them rather spend 6 months making the games better, or making something new, either by creating stuff or putting in cut content... not this shit.
The completionist in me always dreaded going to Pinnacle Station, once you’ve beaten it once there’s really no point in doing it again. Glad it won’t be in the anniversary edition
B-but best gear cheap, and extra war assets in ME3 😔
1:06, nice disclaimer!! :D I live close enough to the area to know exactly what you're talking about, but far enough away to not care that much, either.
The point in the apartment is that you can contact the most expensive ship as many times as you like and it's essentially a way to "gamble" your credits for chances at some of the best armours amps and omni tools in the game. You have a much higher chance of getting the Savant amp/tool or Colossus armour from the shipments than you do of finding it in chests/from enemies.
I liked Pinnacle Station, it served as a good training area, plus we got some gear as a reward.
Exactly, you could play and level up (if you weren't already maxed out) and get the best weapons and gear to go for the final mission.
If this remastered trilogy sells well (which I'm predicting it will) it's possible BioWare may invest a few months rebuilding this DLC from the ground up and reincluding it as a free patch. not saying they for sure will do this but it's not outside of the realms of impossibility.
My thought exactly
Honestly, it's not worth the effort - it's easily the worst out of all the ME DLC.
It'll sell well. No doubt. Already sold shit tons of copies and collectors editions. Lots of hype online too.
And no, I highly HIGHLY doubt that would happen. The demand for this DLC is too low, and it's not up to BioWare's standards anyway.
They abandoned Anthem after years of lying and saying they were fixing it, and that's with stuff they DIDN'T lose the source code with. You have too much faith.
No loss really. It’s the worst dlc in the series
The weapon and armor dlc are worse. If you don't count them then the Firewalker dlc from ME2.
I remember finding out about this by looking through the achievement list on the 360 and I couldn't understand how I had missed something so big from my favourite game (I didn't know about DLC back then)
It's almost like this DLC was adapted into the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. Survive for 10 rounds, with a few special rounds of Hunting certain enemies, Capturing a point or points, sometimes with Time Trial limitations ending with a survive-until-extracted round like the unfinished scenario.
I didn't even know this was a part of the game.
I actually really like this DLC, particularly because the last part took me several hours alone to beat - even with those rounds that launch husks into orbit. Yeah, I was definitely a glutton for punishment.
Fr, that last simulation on Insanity gave me Dark Souls levels of fml the first time I did it lol
I can't imagine playing a vidoe game like that. I can barely get through 30 minutes without a significant cut scene playing the main story.
@@yodabaki970 It didn't take so long because it was meant to be that long. It took so long to beat because of the _difficulty._ As in, you keep dying trying to do a section that, without dying, would take like 5 to 10 minutes lol
@@thehavoccompany-a3 damn never really got the fun in that. It if failed a mission even once I just set it to the easiest difficulty to burn through it. But hey to each their own.
Uh... Hey big Dan? You can go back to the apartment and continuously get high level loot by grabbing the most expensive box.
Additionally, there's an exploit where you can sell whatever you get to the doctor at the citadel if you do her side quest line for the discount and get a ton of money very quickly.
It's a pretty sweet apartment for that reason. Also, you can stock up on grenades easily
Came to say the same. Best way to get some sweet matching armor for the whole squad.
honestly I’ll miss this dlc, still feels like we lost something
Played mass effect for over a decade and never even heard about this dlc
Sincerely not a big loss, I might have played it once or twice just for the achievement
But I understand from a dev pov how it must feel to lose a piece of work and not being able to recover it
To be fair, it's not like they didn't know, the source code for this was lost right after it released, so it was also never ported to PS3 when the game finally came out there
Thanks for sharing this one Dan! Keep it up on
I did mostly because that apartment was the only place in the game with a grenade dispenser and refills are few and far between, you can really feel this after doing Feros on a paragon run.
Most use grenades there and eden prime only these days lol
Gee makes me feel like I’m the only person that liberally used grenades everywhere
I just punched everyone out after missing like two grenade shots.
it's a shame the pinnacle station dlc is corrupted.
Which is really ironic since it's just VR missions with one time characters.
Demiurge Studios also did the original PC port of Mass Effect 1, which may explain why they were so willing to go along with EA's crappy DRM scheme for the game. On a more positive note, I'd love to see some "10 Funniest Moments" videos on the trilogy, like the "Biotic God" from Mass Effect 2. Just ... everything about that encounter makes me laugh.
The only true god in mass effect, Niftu Cal
So it their fault that ME1 never had controller support?
That dlc was snoozy at least so I dont mind, would be cool to have the option but I prolly wouldnt play it
One thing everyone seems to forget is in the apartment you win you can put a random weapon attachment. Which you can save right before you do it and reload if it's not what you want.
Great video. Only one correction. The DLC files being corrupt wasn't found out while they were working on the LE, it was when they were porting both ME1 and ME2 from Xbox to PC and PS in the trilogy package that it was found out. That was back in like 2013-2014, quite a while back. Still, small detail to a overall great video.
Makes sense now, thanks for the video!!
You pronounce Ahern just like that Key and Peele sketch "A-A-RON" I don't know if they pronounce it that way in game but I just find it funny
I hear "Ay-hern" to be honest with you
It’s Ahh!- Hern
Mass Effect: saving the galaxy and getting free houses from the admirals
And it will not be missed. Getting the achievements for this dlc was to much stress on my life
The Appartment Shipment was the only scoure to get the colossus armor for Tali. On 5 playthrough, i never found any usefull endgame armor for Tali, until this DLC.
Bring Down The Sky DLC can get you guaranteed colossus for Tali. You can also save scum the merchants on the citadel that sell non-human armours.
I glitched human or other colossus armors onto them.. Which I imagine will be fixed in the LE and that will suck because sometimes I also used lighter or heavier armor on them and Shepard despite them not being capable of using said Armors.
The Pinnacle station apartment is in the Liara Trailer.
When it was first announced I wasn’t sad it was gone, then I remembered that you can keep getting the orders and I used this to get my whole team into Colossus X armor and I was sad it was gone
To be honest the only reason why I miss this DLC is because of the INSANE armor you could buy when you win the vacation house in the end. Rage armor for Krogans, phantom armor for Turians, Colosus armor all rank 10 is absolutely insane.
I remember I put the cooldown mods on a assault rifle and hunkered down in a corner pointing at the only way to reach where I was with a rubber band holding the trigger down, I left to go get lunch and when I came back my squad was still raising hell.
With the right build, Shepard was immortal in the first game.
@Baptiste L. Harder? Not once you got Soldier Shepard maxed on health regen and damage resistance and Fortification had a shorter cooldown than its duration so you could keep it up the entire fight.
You could take a hit from a missile turret on Insanity and your health bar would barely drop, and it would be right back up to full before you got hit again.
You can get Rank X Specter Gear by save scumming, but that is hardly something to write home about. Of all the DLC to lose to Bit Rot, this was the best case scenario.
LOL! I noted that you talked about this studio in Boston that worked on this, yes, LOL again, I can make the distinction with Cambridge! And you said "Massholes"! While I've lived in the mountains of northern GA since 2005 now, I am a native New Englander. I still have family in MA, NH, and VT! I grew up mainly in Mass. on the south shore. Are you from there? Anyway, funny to hear that expression, it's been a while. And a great video, here, as usual. And I totally agree. This was a fun DLC maybe a couple times through, but then...eh. I'll miss it just a little, but I'll always have the original game, so, I can still have at it if I get the hankerin'.
1000th like XD. Really love that people still talk about Mass Effect with respect
I did this DLC on Insanity
I was very proud when I finally completed it
It gives you a pretty cool gun that lasts for the rest of the game. Also it's free XP! Pretty useful. I was really disappointed though, that Shepard's home is never later mentioned in the trillogy. :(
Shiala gettimg booted is worse
I believe that is where Shepherd went after 3 just to live a peaceful life.
I've playing ME games for 10 years now and I never knew this existed since I've only got to play ME1 on the ps3.
It doesn't sound like the greatest experience, but i've liked to check it out in the remake. Oh well...
Big Dan, thanks for your channel, your content is top notch and you seem like a nice guy who enjoys making videos and enjoys sharing experiences.
Cheers and all the best for you and your loved ones
What I used to, was to sell everything to Dr. Chole on the citadel after I got her huge discount. Then used the transporter and bought it all back from Expat. I kept on doing it until I had infinite credits, went to the retirement home, used all the credits on the most expensive items. when credits were low I went back to citadel and did it all over again. I got so much credit and so much good gear that even my whole squad was suited and equipped with the best of the best you could get. I had so much fun doing it, so hearing that Pinnacle Station wont be in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, kinda makes me sad. Either way I really look forward to get the nostalgia from mass effect as a whole. Nice and informative videos Big Dan
You could spam the store, I would go to the apartment with max money and just spam the expensive shipment, completely outfitting my crew.
Well, it doesn't get you *everything* you need to outfit a full crew, but it does get you top tier endgame stuff.
You can actualy save before buying stuff and reload if it's not something you want.
@@robertharris6092 There are certain endgame items it doesn't drop, but it does have most of them.
My Shepard and team practically had end game level and gear just from that dlc alone. I love the idea of doing raids though and kinda gonna miss it despite it not being important for the trilogy.
Its really the shipments im gonna miss though
I'm not even surprised that this dlc didn't make it into Legendary. They found out about the corrupt source codes when porting the game to PS3 and have had years to rebuild it but decided not to do so for the PS3 version so of course, they weren't gonna bother for the remaster.

Oh hell no, anyone from a neighboring state knows it, pretty sure
thanks for that , I always skipped the dlc and its really the only one, now I see that I didnt miss much. I am also happy that the corruption issue didnt happen to any other dlc in the trilogy :)
As a side note about the apartment, there is a grenade dispenser there so you can restock grenades.
Keep up the fantastic work
Thanks!
Actually, you can "buy" from Ahern's apartment as much as you like. The gear is randomized, but it is the easiest way to get the colossus armor for Tali. It also allows you to get cheap spectre X if you're willing to but a lot of other stuff with it. Also, the best amp is an easy get too. You don't have to wait to go to Pinnacle Station. You can go there as soon as you leave the Citadel. It allows you to redo the simulations an infinite number of times. As they say, practice makes perfect. Though you won't beat Ahern's simulation until 50th level minimum.
I usually go beat it sometime between lvl 20 and 30 Ahern's mission is easy go across those 2 bridges put your squad on the side closer to the start and you stay over on the other side make sure your squad can use powers and that you invested in shield boost
I liked Pinnicle Station just for the numerous enemies. They all counted toward weapon mastery achievements so I was able to make some interesting secondary characters.
Even if we missed this, in me 3 in Citadel dlc there is a shooting gallery that looks like pinnacle station, and you can take all your survived companions, from 1 2 and 3rd mass effect.
"there's no reward for most time XOOT"
Meh, I won't miss it. Pinnacle Station focused on ME's weakest aspect: combat. It was also very grindy. I never finished it once. The time spent vs. reward calculation just wasn't there for me. It is somewhat sad and ironic that the Legendary Edition updates are fixing the combat and would make Pinnacle Station somewhat less of a chore to play. But Pinnacle Station did not contribute anything to the story or the ME universe. I can't really say that Legendary Edition will be poorer without it.
Pinnacle Station was always my first stop in ME1, since you could do it at any level, and it let you obtain a vacation home with a nice little feature of buying all the top tier weapons and equipment for half the price (which you could then sell for full price and repeat till you maxed out your money counter).
wish I knew about that cash exploit in my first playthrough. though, I guess I had more than enough to get everything I wanted by the end, anyways
Oh I remember this now. I definitely won't miss it.
Pinnacle Station was handy for grinding XP to level up. And as I recall, once you level up you can acquire higher level weapons
That Salarian sounds bored out of his mind
he looks like got a big lunch eating
he sounds long-suffering too. he's surrounded by plebs.
When I heard the news that Legendary Edition was going to be missing one of its DLC, I got this confused with Bring Down The Sky (I didn't have either DLC) and was concerned. Let's just say that confusion has cleared up and it doesn't bother me anymore.
Only thing ill miss from not having Pinnacle Station is the shipments, decked out my whole squad in maxed out gear & guns, & the grenade resupply
I finally played Pinnacle Station for the first time about a year ago (it was my first PC playthrough, I only played on PS3 before that).
Aaaaaand I wasn’t a huge fan of it. The only good part was Shepard’s apartment with the high-tier armor and weapons you could buy.
Well the Citadel DLC basically has a better pinnacle station in it anyway.
I never touched Pinnacle Station until my most recent run through the trilogy (late 2020). Even then, I didn't play it until I was a high level with some of the best gear in the game. I beat every challenge relatively easily, probably because the DLC is balanced for early game.
The easiest game mode by far was survival. I played the game on hardcore and was able to survive for over half an hour by spamming my squad's abilities. Eventually I got bored because the enemies turned into bullet sponges and decided to see how long it would take for them to kill me if I just stood there and did nothing. It took them over 15 minutes.
Will you consider doing a playthrough of Mass Effect when the legendary edition come out?
Why not pre order it and do a gameplay
Wait, WHAT!?!?!? You can visit the house!?!?!? So one of two things happened. I either screwed up going to visit it, or my memory has completely crapped out on me going there.
Lol.
You're not missing much anyways.
Its the gear you really wanted as most of it was pretty rare in the game.
This was the one DLC that we can survive without.
Maybe you but not me. I have it and I loved it.. maybe you should play it before you say that.
@@ericdraven7185 I have played that DLC on XBOX 360 when it game out.
Did not add anything to the story. The Bring down the Sky did add to the story.
@@jamesdouglas6977 true and you can play armax arena in me3 citadel dlc anyway
@@ericdraven7185 maybe keep the original mass effect if you enjoy so much
@@ericdraven7185 I play Mass Effect for the story not throwing myself at a challenge for bragging rights. Especially when the gameplay for the later games smoother and more fun imo. And yeah, I did play Pinnacle Station. It wasn’t worth my time imo
I wish there was a combat-gameplay mode. I hope ME3's DLC still has it. Don't know if you can save Mordin, but all the other characters are available and can be recruited in any combo. Yes, Wrex and Grunt in your team!
It may have not been a great DLC but it still gave you much needed experience points as I leveled up a few times with this.
actualy it was a great dlc
@@ericdraven7185To each their own. I think it was a terrible DLC.
I played PS back when ME first released. We aren't missing much. It's was pretty forgettable
The one bit of ME that I never played, being a playstation player.
Same, but for me it was because I got the “Classics” version of ME1, which has Bring Down the Sky, but not Pinnacle Station for some reason.
I never played Pinnacle Station because for some reason I never got it to work, so I was excited when I heard that the Legendary will have all DLCs. Then they dropped Pinnacle Station is the only one that won't be included :D But judging by your video, I didn't miss anything so...no harm done then. But I'm very curious how good Bring Down The Sky will look.
Also with the rewards I saved scrubbed for all of the spectre weapons (which is tonnes cheaper than buying them all through venders), best armours, biotic and tech amps. My whole squad was looking mean and hit like a truck. Definitely helpful on an insanity playthrough.
I'll be disappointed to not see this in the Legendary edition.
