EDI is pretty much like a walking social media device in that she shares eveyrone else's personal info with everyone else, even if by accident. Once you've said it too her you'll never be able to get it back
still, some things are hard to find if you don't do things right. I usually always talked to liara first but it seems one needs to get EDI's new body before talking to liara on the ship even once. mind you, you may have to talk to EDI a few times to spark the offer of helping EDI with human behavior.
I did the DLC and I still got this convo from EDI. I actually took it as Shep was just play along with EDI’s joke since I’m sure EDI knows Shep already knew about Liara being SB.
In terms of comedy, 100% agree. Although I like Joker, I feel he can be extremely hit and miss. One joke is funny, and the next he is just plain out being a cunt.

I had a weird glitch today where Liara talks with Atheyta. I went up a couple of times while they were talking, then ran off to buy some stuff at the stores. But when I got back, Liara was gone. (checked the chair she sat at, wasn't there) and the dialogue kept playing out everytime Atheyta started the conversation.
it's only a child because the intelligence is in your head (not literally), trying to manipulate you using the form of a/the child. also i highly appreciated there was no final boss fight. we had one in ME1, one in ME2, and an ending consisting of lots of dialog was a fantastic idea. also there were enough boss battle like situations in ME3 anyway.
I would personally be pissed to have Liara on my ship knowing that she could sell my secrets to anyone and also that she knows them, I mean a friend should respect the privacy of friends even if it's their job. It like going into someone's drawer and come out with rather embarrassing clothes or underwear, nobody wants that. I'd throw her out of the airlock.

An observation on the writing of Mass Effect throughout the trilogy: 1's head writer was Drew Karpyshyn, and while the plot and world building was excellent, the dialogue and characters could feel stilted at times.
oh I remember having this conversation too and I did the Shadow Broker DLC but instead of the "Perhaps you two should talk" its like "Nevermind" I think xD in anyway I love all dialogues thank you for replaying the game a lot to get all those dialogues :)
It's especially funny because one of the first things I always do in ME3 is talk to Liara after leaving the Citadel so Shepard always knows about that. I've never played the DLC because my Xbox always acts funny if I try to download any DLC for Mass Effect 2 or 3. Witcher 3 DLC is just fine, for some reason.
