I seriously love the child like curiosity from the pink one in the back at 2:36, the way she looks away for a moment before looking back again. I really hope they keep these little gestures the maids make as they upgrade them even further. It really makes them feel a bit more alive!
I still find it amazing that 1 guy (with some help online) made 3 humanoid robots that can complete so many tasks. This is something that large companies struggle to accomplish with hundreds of thousands of dollars and tens to hundreds of employees.
It's due to the competitive nature, decision making, financials (or greed if included) and other complicated stuff that the companies have to deal with which is why their products can sometimes fail despite the resources, as for the Mashiro Project, it was made by man with a hobby who wishes to make his work become a reality

Commercial robotics out in the market are already far more advanced than this, including those meant for domestic or entertainment use. Think of it as the very early steps of actual robots like these. In the future, their designs and functions will hopefully improve! Much like how early video games look primitive in the day versus how realistic they look now. Baby steps!

I really get the feeling that they are doing their best in the café, tending to the customers even if they are shy. Makes me want to cheer them on. You can do it, MaSiRo 姉妹!
This is great! I think the designs of the robots are really good, they look lifelike without looking realistically human enough to fall into the uncanny valley. That, combined with the way they move, makes them come across to me like big friendly animated dolls. I doubt that everyone would be comfortable around them, but i really like them and i think they’re a step in the right direction for robot design!

I'd feel like I'm living in the future when I'm in there in person. I live in United States and I only see robots that are work in progress, or if there are robots they don't look humanoid, they're usually self-checkouts or tall cleaning robots on wheels in supermarket or in malls.
